Terrible that customer information has no information. BTW the one on Avenue A looked like an empty store and very unfinished inside. When they were open, they were short-handed and slow. Honestly the only time I've seen things go bad is because they don't follow the steps to check in (which are the same as every single Labcorp location in the USA). Check in on the iPad, upload any info/documents they need, sit down, they'll call you for more info if needed, sit down again, wait till tell call you to go back and take your bloodwork. That's literally it. The problem is when people think they take priority over everyone else that also made an appt or is also waiting for their turn when is actually such a simple process. Just follow the signs and listen to direction!

I signed in at 7:01AM, and 7:40 they called me up to give in my paperwork (and the woman wrote 7:35, but I was looking at my phone), and it was 8:50 when I went into the back room. I'd give the place no stars for that broad up front but the lab techs in the back are aces. I've never had a bad draw at this place, which is saying something. The vampire in my former hematologist's office used to miss my veins and bruise me something fierce. These people get it on the 1st try, no problems. The lady I saw was very nice, and the last time I was there I saw one of the two gentlemen. Please forgive me for not remembering names but I was fasting, wound up with a miserable headache, and I'm lucky I remember the day at all. I have to go annually due to malabsorption and anemia, so getting 9-12 vials of blood taken at a time is nothing new for me. Positives: Techs draw blood really well. There's plenty of parking. The techs are great with customer service. Negatives: the wait times are horrendous, the waiting room fills & people stand, people who are sick cough on you, and the broad at the window is as slow as can be and can be rude. I had to laugh, they gave me a comment card saying they needed people to fill them out. Under wait times, they had 31minutes+ as the last one, I think they should have had 90 minutes + on there.

I can see why - the attendants are loudly talking and laughing among themselves and on their cell phones instead of helping the clients. This place is extremely disorganized. Unfortunately my lab is very specific and my doctor asked me to come here, but I'll definitely ask her for another laboratory that can run the same test. Stay away from this place unless you have nothing better to do with your time.
