We LOVE Patino's! My daughter likes the California burrito, but with rice and beans instead of meat and it's always perfect for her. I mostly get the veggie tacos and they are so good. My husband has ordered a ton of stuff off the menu and enjoyed it all. The guacamole and the salsas are all good and the lettuce is always crunchy and fresh. Good rice and beans, too. The woman who usually takes our order is very nice and remembers us. If I forget to ask for extra salsa verde on my tacos, she will always ask if I want some. Really good customer service. Pretty much the last food place on your way out of town, but Wow! I visit here more than I am proud to admit, but their dollar tacos are delicious. They went down in size from 2 bite to 1-1.5 bite size, but order 8 of them and you're good to go. The owners and workers are super friendly and even on dollar taco days when they're swamped they make for a great experience. Mmmm, yes yes yes. I ordered a quesabirria plate and oh my lord, Patino's did it PERFECTLY. Man I've been craving quesabirria tacos for a long time. The tortillas were crispy and the cheese and birria made my heart so happy. The beans and rice were the perfect portion. The consommé was such a perfect flavor and added a balance of flavor to the tacos. I had to complete my order with a side of flan and it was also just total creamy sweet perfection. Another cool thing I like about this place is that they give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready and you can pay with debit, lots of other places are cash only. As someone who spends a lot of time in central California, I gotta say, this truck isn't very good. I truly was hoping that they would be. Something new in the area. But being this far from the border, it's pretty unlikely to get good flavor. Gave them a few chances.
