I've wanted to shop around this huge outdoor place for years and years (I mean probably 20+ years, I think), I just live minutes from it but have never done so, until this last weekend. My boyfriend told me he'd been wanting to do the same thing, so we decided that we finally need to go explore!!! We were so excited to finally pull in and get to shopping. I see that there are lots of great reviews, but we definitely had a different experience. I only upped my stars up to "OK" because there were a few great things that we did see and also did end up buying a small item. One can spend an hour or more looking at all the pots, patio dining sets, barbecues, fountains, fire pits, lawn statues and plants, there are quite a few and spread over a large area (2 acres? I think I read that). The first thing we noticed was that most of the fountains and lawn ornaments are faded, chipped, and over priced. Several of the fountains are filled with green, dank, murky, standing water, definitely a turn off. Cracked and broken cement pieces are scattered around all over. Sun damaged cushions on much of the outdoor furniture. That being said, there also are some that are in beautiful shape, lovely fountains, comfy cushions, tip top pots. Not many items are priced and with literally thousands of items, how do they know what the price is? And no sales person around to even ask. Nobody ever came to see if we needed any help, I happened to run across a salesgirl bringing lunch back so I figured she worked there. I asked her about a small item we'd seen that was located way across the property and if she knew the price. She stared blankly for a second and said she thought it was $40. I said that the only price I saw was the larger one and she asked how much that one was, I said $120, she looked at the other sales woman and they shrugged and said "Yeah, it's $40". I mean they could have said any price they wanted really, if we came back with a different sales person would it have been more? Less? Who really knows. Forty bucks was a decent price for this though, so we walked back down the hill to go get one. Upon Yelp check-in we received one of those exciting red pop-up coupons for 15% off, so we were pleased to see that and decided to use it on our new pot. The lady started writing up our order and I showed it to her, she immediately said that wasn't theirs without even looking at it really. I said that I received this when I checked in to THIS location on Yelp. She said no, that it wasn't for their location.... so, here is where the "so called Karen" in me came out (and I'm the furthest thing from a "Karen"), I said it popped up when I LITERALLY checked in at THIS location. She said it was for another location that they used to be affiliated with. I showed her the address and she still was refusing to honor it and actually started getting argumentative. I actually was okay with her not honoring it but I told her and the other woman that this could potentially cause a problem some day and that they really should update their Yelp page. She said "oh nobody has looked at that page in years". So, again, I said that maybe they need to tell the owner to do so. I was trying my very hardest to be nice and polite.... but these 2 women were extremely rude. I was really just pointing out the principal of it all, not trying to get the discount necessarily.... but they just were deaf to my reasoning and pushing back hard. She did, in fact, give us the discount in the end. And honestly, that wasn't the point. The point is, if it is a discount POSTED ON YOUR SITE and WITH A CHECK-IN then you should honor it or update the site! And secondly, never make the customer feel like a crook because YOUR website says something untrue! I took a screenshot of the coupon, plus it is also showing on the Yelp desktop site. I did see a couple wonderful items that I would love to go back and purchase, but we decided that the one visit to this place was enough to know we don't want to go back and/or support it. I think, in all fairness, this may be a great place to order patio furniture and designs or large items like huge pots and fountains... but if you are going to pick up some fun stuff for the yard, it may not be your place. However, it is a great place to browse around, lots and lots of items to choose from, worth stopping in and seeing what you can find. There are obviously lots of happy people who have left good reviews.... so shop with an open mind. Just don't plan on using your Yelp Check-In!! I hadn't been to this location for several years and was greatly surprised at the wonderful selection of not only pots but great prices. My lady friends and I go there quite often for "one more pot" - I started out with the wide selection of Telavera pots and cute things to put on the wall items. I then started a collection group of deep blue pots and as well as other individual items for my succulent garden. I then spied the beautiful metal figures and have subsequently purchased the small and middle sized giraffes along with the most precious metal elephant. The sales personnel were wonderful and listened to my explanations of how and where they would join my backyard buddies. We've never entered the property that we weren't greeted by personnel to ask if we needed help and/or if we found something they'd have a worker bring it up to the office and then place it in our vehicles. You really can't find a better place for unique decorative items, furniture groupings, and reasonable prices. You're always welcome to look to your heart's content when thinking of creative uses for their products. read more

My wife and I are starting a major backyard and front yard landscaping project. We are currently in the market for outdoor patio furniture as well as outdoor barstools to complement our custom built counter with a fire pit feature. This company's website advertises this location as a "2 acre showroom". When we drove up, we're puzzled as to what we see. Not a large indoor showroom as we were expecting, but a small building in the middle with two small outdoor areas displaying some patio furniture, outdoor fountains and other accessories. Since we drove over 50 miles to check this place out, we decided to enter. Upon entering this location has a another outdoor showroom which is "downstairs". Lots of pottery is displayed here and non-functioning fountains filled with standing green water. (Potential Mosquito concerns). "Upstairs" is where more pottery, water features and patio furniture is displayed. Every usable space is used to display some type of item. After about 30 minutes, a salesperson approached us. It was like shopping for a new car. They really want to make a sale that moment. For us, the timing was not right as we had other similar places to check out also. We did learn that their Ontario location which the company advertises as a 32k showroom, is the indoor location where they display a larger assortment of patio furniture and less of the outdoor water features and statuary. Another observation the wife and I noted was their pricing was pretty high. We saw the same type of vases we ordered from another vendor in Fallbrook who was much cheaper than here. read more

I went to this store with my five year old son to look at the fountains and get an idea of what type of fountain I could potentially put around my house. The staff greeted me and asked if I needed help. I acknowledged them with respect and continued to just look around. I left shortly after and saw one of the staff members walk over to where I was parked and take a picture of my car as I drove off. I didn't do anything other than look at the fountains and patio sets while at the store. He was very helpful and committed to a delivery date prior to Christmas. On Friday 12/21 the cushions were delivered as promised. Sales gets 5 stars and delivery services gets 0 stars. A 3 star average. Adrian was our salesman and he was great. Very attentive and lots of info. We bought enough patio furniture that I had to have it delivered. There is the problem. They were supposed to call me first to let me know when the delivery time was. I had to call them when they opened at 9:00 the day of the delivery. They told me that my time was between 9-11. I scheduled my day around that. No problem. At 11:30 I called to see where they were and I was told they were running behind and they were just leaving the store. WHAT?? You would think the first thing they would do would be to call the people affected by their lack of scheduling skills to inform they were running late. No such luck. Message they are sending their clients: we already have your money so just sit there and wait until we feel like delivering your stuff. Not a very good business model. UPDATE: Before the driver left he got out of the truck and told me the boss told him to apologize to me because they were late. He said his boss saw my posting on Yelp. Odd, but I have been checking my emails and missed calls all day to see if this "boss" had enough business sense to call me directly. I am shocked and dismayed to inform you that he has not attempted to call me. I will just sit here and shake my head. I can only assume this company does not like repeat business. read more

I stopped by this place not to get patio furnitures but to buy succulents, as I saw they have some while exiting the freeway. The selection was not big, but I did find some that I haven't seen at other nurseries and big box stores. Upon check out I asked how often do they water because I've notice the soil is very wet, some even has moss grown on top of the soil. The guy told me they water every other day, I should've told him to cut down on watering because they need water just once a week, or when the soil is dry. I repot them right after I got home to avoid root rot (from over watering). But I was happy with my purchase and they've doing good so far. read more

Wow. This is the most morally bankrupt company. You think as a small business they would try a tad harder. We purchased patio furniture on a Sunday night. Monday morning we woke up to learn of construction delays. I called to cancel. I was told there was a 10% restocking fee. EXCEPT nothing was even ordered yet let alone delivered. I understand if it was ordered or delivered. I spent 3 days trying to understand why they kept a random amt of $483 for me. It was "the fee the credit card companies charge". Uh. Why is that my issue. Now? If it was on the invoice I understand. On Monday Becky said I would be charge $180. I was fine with that. 4 hours later she said $360. Again. Ouch, but okay. Then I was told 10%. Josh told me AMEX charges them 2%. So I just talked to the owner. What a rude, morally and unethical person. Unreal. "What am I supposed to do about the fee?" Idk. You should account for that in your business like most small businesses do. He proceeded to yell at me and tell me I was wasting my breath. That he needs to make money somehow. Now I know why Becky was trying to avoid me speaking to him. Because he's is a nasty person. UPDATE: Becky just called and is refunding us. I have purchased a fountain, patio table & chairs and a fire pit from Patio Furniture Plus. All of the items as well as the installation were top notch! The service was professional and friendly. Today I went to exchange my fountain motor since it had stopped working. The two men working were SO nice to me and went way over the call of duty to help me out. It turned out that the cause of my motor going out was not covered by the warranty but they replaced the motor for me for no charge! I am VERY grateful to them for their outstanding service! Went here to look for outdoor barstools for my new backyard built-in BBQ. I was hopeful because their property is pretty vast, and they have wide selection... of everything BUT barstools! Maybe things have changed since, but at least I did find a set that caught my eye. Unfortunately, the person working there decided to not pay attention to me and twice helped other people instead. Mind you, once someone selling this type of product helps someone, you won't be looked at for another 15 minutes or so, if lucky. Customers got to have 124 questions on average before they can part ways (additional time added IF they decide to even buy something). So maybe my complaint isn't necessarily regarding the lack of service, but the lack of staff on hand. Probably a little both. Staff can at least acknowledge customers' presence. I came here on a weekend too. Needless to say, I left, with my hundreds of cash money, and found a better set at an online store anyway (with free shipping!). The 2 stars are for the selection of non-barstool products on the lot. I likely won't be going back due to the service, unless I buy a megaphone to announce my arrival. read more
