Our experience started at parking, there were multiple tour busses idling in the lot, and cars were parked rather haphazardly. We were directed to park on the side of the road with such a steep drop off, at one point our Yukon had two wheels off the ground. When checking in to the the $35/person tour (which we booked two weeks ago) I mentioned the parking situation and was told "yeah it's really bad, but we're working on it." I don't own a distillery, but seems an obvious solve is asking the tour buses to park up the road by the gift shop vs taking up space in the lot. We were eager to join our tour and forget about the stressful lot but alas, our tour was an absolute shit show. I stopped counting when I hit to 50 people, our tour guide had a loud speaker, most people in the tour were drunk and talking over him, and for the first time in many many tours, we walked off before we ever got a chance to try anything. There is no reason but greed to not cap a tour, they were making close to 2 grand off a miserable experience for their guests. Again, I do think it was likely an outlier but we will never be back, and I will ensure no one I know ever goes either.

I liked PB&J, Cotton Candy, melon flavored. They were all actually pretty good. I wish I knew more about the place but, I was by myself vs. being with a group. I would love to learn more about RH and if they make their own Wine here. I have no complaints on this visit, I would love to know more about the winery and the wines. I do plan on returning.

We had over a dozen wines during a tasting and each one stood on its own. Each one was exactly as described and had its own individual taste profile and wonderful complexity. A flight of 6 1-oz pours for around $7. I was not expecting much at that price. What I got was complex wines, fully mature and exceptionally balanced. Single grape or multiple blends . Some un-oaked. Some finished in bourbon barrels. A full page of dry or semi dry reds and whites. And a full page of fruity wines. While some were sweet, I never felt that sugar was the main profile. I was shocked the Rhubarb wine was a fav- tasty, tart, and sweet all at one time. Liberty was a combination of 3 reds finished in bourbon barrels. Surprisingly complex with a wonderful finish . And I surprised myself when I brought home a bottle of Apple Pie. Notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. I'm going to pair it with a special dinner built around this bottle. I'm as surprised as you are. They also have a very solid Bourbon list with tastings fairly priced. Yup. A Winery that offers solid bourbons not normally available at most other bars. Our hostess was Hope. They have (had?) a book shelf with a sort of leave one take one kinda thing (a bit of an in-business little free library). I wish I didn't have to cross the river to get to here, but I am glad it is accessible from the toll-free bridge and not gonna lie, it is likely worth the schlep all on it's own. They have wine flights for $7 to taste 5 of their own wines or bottles for ~$15-$20. The couple who owns the winery is super friendly and helpful. The wines are on the sweeter side.
