They also fit me in for a more urgent visit very quickly which I appreciated so much. I have very sensitive teeth and the hygienist used numbing gel which made the cleaning process amazing! The Dentist, Dr. Miller, was calming, knowledgeable, and explained all of the processes in detail. He was very gentle when doing fillings and very detailed, making sure everything was just right. He was also very personable, mentioning he was from the area, telling us about his family and military service. Their current office space is a bit on the older side but it is clean and orderly, and from my understanding they are in the process of renovating a newer facility for future use. I highly recommend Braden Miller, DDS at Ferndale Dental!

I was in "the chair" for 3 hrs yesterday getting two crowns. I had to stop everything a couple of times because i just needed a break. No problem at all. He communicates in a very caring way, always checking in.. Payment plans are available too and i felt totally empowered by the office staff about available options. If we had all had a Dr Sacro in our lives I truly think dental trauma wouldnt exist.

I got enough credit to cover the entirety of the procedure however after the initial work done(was a root canal) it is was about $600 more than what I had anticipated to pay that time so I have not been able to complete my root canal. Now I have the temporary cap and cannot afford to get a crown. Had I known I would have tried to get approved for more credit. Unfortunately my financial situation had changed and I was not able to. Wish they were more transparent about cost before performing a service. I have a feeling this is going to cause some issues for me in the future.

Unlike other people, I *LOVE* going to the dentist. Freshly cleaned teeth feel so... delicious! I am self-employed, so my income varies month-to-month. Kelsey, too, is self-employed. She did an expensive dental procedure. She graciously allowed me to make payments. She performed a root canal on my front tooth. The drill bit broke during the procedure, probably due to metal fatigue on the drill bit. She did not charge me for her services. She immediately sent me to a specialist to remove the broken drill bit. Who does that? Her staff is *OUTSTANDING*!!! She must be an excellent employer because there is very little turnover in her staff. You see the same hygienist every time. It's not a "mill" where they try to charge you for every little thing like some dental offices do. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Kelsey Ullsmith.

Dr. Ullsmith is a true gem because rather than capping teeth and doing expensive procedures she worked hard to save the teeth I have and it was very pain free and affordable. She does not say she is a holistic dentist but she is. I have terrible genetics and dentistry started becoming more and more stressful but because she is so attentive and careful, I am as a calm as a clam during the procedures.

You get no updates on what happened during their appointment because the dentist isn't there to talk to you about the teeth and their concerns. The office staff could care less that you don't get to know anything. Absolutely no one else was in the room besides my children so why can't I be in there with them. If you care about the safety of your children take them somewhere else. They claimed this is for every parent but I know someone who went here last week and they were allowed to sit back with their child and it wasn't cause they were under 5, had special needs or was invited back. I guess it just depends if they like you or not if they are willing to make an exception to the policy that they claim is the same for everyone. I wouldn't know how the dentist was since I never got to speak with them. I told them specifically I wanted to ask questions and was never allowed to do that. What kind of dentist doesn't actually talk to you about what's going on with their teeth and what they should continue or what you should watch out for. They claim this policy is for Covid but what do they think Covid doesn't exist out in the waiting room? At any doctor's office you can go in with your children, does Covid not exist at the doctor's either?
