Sara/h (sp) was a wonderful assistant to Dr. Singh, whom I love and trust. Not only do I trust him professionally, but I find him extremely helpful and more. He was informative, assisted me in weighing options, was extremely thorough, checked in with me along the way during my procedure, encouraged me to check in with him later if I needed anything, and he is engaging and friendly.

Secondly you might not feel you deserve it, but you absolutely earned it. I have been in severe pain for months, because of what your employees did. Being that bad at your job, and being called out for it doesn't make you a victim. I've had a broken tooth since March 2026. The VA sent me to Gentle Dental, and this is what happened; -I called the VA, who told me a broken tooth was an Emergency, and sent me to Gentle Dental on March 17. -Gentle Dental told me they didn't have any approval to fix the tooth, and said they sent it in for approval. -After 3 weeks of nothing I called the VA who said they didn't understand, but they would send the approval a second time. -A Month passes due to no openings. -My Second appointment was May 12. I showed up early, and waited. -I watched as the gentleman handled all the tools that were about to go in my mouth with no gloves. Which I'm sure is fine. -They gave me the wrong anesthetic which the "Manager" told me it was some miscommunication on "what the dentist prefer." Which...doesn't make any sense at all to be honest. -They tried to work through it, I kept vocalizing my pain, so they did Anesthetics again...more waiting. -By the time it kicked in I got the feeling they were trying to rush. -MAGICALLY Another issue was found, and low n behold it was the VA's fault yet again that they couldn't help me. -The Dentist stood up, told me I didn't have approval, and told me they were gunna do the temp crown anyway even though they didn't finish their job. -The Dental assistant went to do Xrays. He kinda tossed the Vest on me instead of placing it where it was supposed to go. He fidgeted with the machine, and did the Xray. Then when he was done another Assistant came in, and wiped down THE ENTIRE MACHINE so she could use it. Wanna know what dude didn't do? Wipe down the machine. -This whole time I had been apologizing for taking up their time, and being a burden... -The Temp Crown they gave me clearly did not fit.. So dude asked for help. The woman who came to help did not do her job. I tried to tell her on THREE separate occasions that the opposite side of my mouth wasn't closing, and the teeth on the right side were not touching. I asked her to do the impact test with the tape, and she refused ALL THREE TIMES. She then said "It's probably cause your mouth is numb." -At the end of my appointment I went to make a followup avoid the month wait, but the office workers were not there so the Dental Assistant who refused to do her job earlier decided to help instead. She argued. -On May 19 I called and spoke to the "manager" due to the amount of pain I was in. She informed me that the anesthetic thing was "personal preference." She admitted to me that the Dentist was not asking for proper approvals, which adds to what the VA said which was "The dentist is either ignoring the approvals we send, or isn't asking for the right ones." -She then told me that she would handle the situation personally, and contact the VA cause it was an "Emergency." She said she would keep me informed, and call me back. She made me an appointment for May 21 -She never called me back. -May 20 I called to see if everything from the VA had gone through for my "emergency." The front desk told me "You only have an appointment for a general checkup." She then informed me that they could do as many general checkups as they wanted without VA approval...which is when I started to get suspicious. She told me that she would inform the "manager" that I called, and that I wanted a call back. -She never called back. -I called again on May 21, THE MORNING OF MY APPOINTMENT, to again check to see if everything had gone through cause I didn't want to walk down, and be told to leave again. She told me she had no idea what was going on outside of the general checkup, and didn't understand why the "Manager" never returned my call. -I promptly asked for the appointment to be canceled, because at that point I realized they weren't taking the situation seriously.

Amazing Dentists and Hygienists!…read more After a horrible experience with a chain dentist, I spent over a year completely avoiding the dentist chair, leaving a ton of dental work unfinished. As my cavities worsened, I stumbled onto Bellingham Bay Dental's friendly website and after reading a few reviews elsewhere, it was clear that this was the perfect Dentist to switch to. It ended up being the perfect switch, reminding me how pleasant a dental visit can be with the right staff. While my previous dentist rushed and scolded me for being nervous, the staff here took their time and constantly made sure I was comfortable. They made up a plan for the work I needed and took extra measures to make sure my family and I understood it, and they have been amazingly patient about me needing to reschedule appointments to make sure our insurance can cover everything. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you're nervous about seeing the dentist! The only downside is they wont be preferred providers with Washington Dental Insurance after this summer but they are more than worth the extra money.

Don't let this happen to you.

They were extremely aware of the sensitivity of my tooth and I felt very little discomfort for the entire appointment. They took x-rays, evaluated the issue, made some immediate adjustments and I was on my way. After the appointment (same day!) they followed up to see how I was feeling. I saw Faith Bult for some dental work back in 2006. They put in a filling that ended up not staying…read morein. When I went back to get it redone, the assistant started drilling on my tooth before the novacain set in even though I had told them my body is extra sensitive and needs more time than most people for it to set in. She drilled right on the nerve (I didn't realize she was going to start drilling so I couldn't say no in advance), and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. It was horrible. I saw blazing light and my feet flew up over my head. They let the novocain set in after that and finished the filling. But the new filling ended up not staying put either, it rocked back and forth. I called it quits then (I should have after the first filling), and went to another dentist who, upon looking at my tooth, asked me where I had gotten the work done. When I told her, she said, "Ah yes. We've seen many of her patients over the years. I'm sorry you experienced that." They couldn't put another filling in because Bult had drilled so much/wide that there wasn't room, so I ended up needing a crown. I've experienced ongoing pain from that initial appointment for 20 years and will likely need a root canal soon. I feel clear that if the initial cavity was filled correctly jt wouldn't be in pain (I've had other cavities filled without any problems). Bult never replied to my feedback, and never owned up to the mistakes of either filling or the drilling without novocain. I simply advise you to go elsewhere.

Update: The Hoof is now retired and the practice has been take over by Dr. Henry. Have been a few times since the transition and the tradition of good service seems to be carrying on quite nicely.
