The only outreach was a call asking whether we'd be returning for aftercare--not a check-in, not a gesture of compassion, not even a follow-up to acknowledge what had happened. We later discovered documentation of a hypertension diagnosis that was never discussed with us transparently. No safety plan was made. The most guidance we received came from our hypnobirthing coach--not our midwifery team. We were also exposed to COVID-19 due to lax policies around symptomatic individuals, compounding our stress and vulnerability. My new office also said my OB paperwork wasn't completed properly, they had to hound the office and Dr. Johnson for copies of my records, and when I requested a transfer, I was immediately dropped as a patient and my appointments cancelled. Leaving me with no OB IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PREGNANCY AT 22 weeks until my New OB accepted me. Also, the wait times are ridiculous here. Sometimes over an hour- hour 1/2.
