Archer in the Closter NJ office on 5/10/24. I have been at this office for 3 times in recent years. Each time, the co-pay is collected at the time you check in. I called the Teaneck billing office to explained to them the co-pay was paid, but I no longer has the receipt because it's almost 2 years ago. There wasn't anything the woman at the Teaneck office can do for me. I sent the statement (without a payment) back along with a written letter explaining my situation. That didn't resolve my issue because I had received another bill this month. I called the number 201-744-2894 on the bill and explained my situation. The gentleman I spoke with said that I must show prove that I had paid. He is not allowed to make any adjustments. He said if I don't pay, it will go to a collection agency. Bottom line is, they don't care to resolve your billing issue. They just want their money. Lastly, I was informed by them, they can bill you up to 7 years after service was done. So hold on to your receipts up to 7 years.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Lartigue for maybe about 20 years or more. She is now 68 has…read morebecome a diabetic, lost vision in one eye and can barely see out the other. She also is practically bedridden due to her needing both knee replacement and cannot walk without being in excruciating pain. I made an appoint for my mother to see her primary due to it being sometime since she has been seen and is now having alot of health issues. I have to help my mother walk with her walker and she moves very slow due to the pain. This was my first time taking her. We arrived 30 minutes early because I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be late and she also had another doctors appoinment immediately after. After sitting there for over an hour because they were running late and we were now past her appointment time. There was 1 patient in his office with him being seen and 1 patient in the waiting room whom had an appointment before ours but the receptionist said she wouldn't be long due to the patient just picking up medication. The receptionist then steps out for lunch. After some time a girl comes from the back office and tells us we have to wait longer because the dr is going to go on a zoom meeting, I explained to the lady that we had been here a long time way before our appointment and she had another appointment that we were probably already going to be running late for being that they were running late. She, with a nasty face, tells me if we can't wait we can just leave, at this point my mother is starting to get upset because of the rudeness of this girl. I asked to speak to the dr she tells me no because he's going into the meeting. I ask if he knows that she is out in the waiting room and had been for over an hour now and she stated he was aware. I am trying to explain the situation and concerns to this girl that my mother needs to be seen and it is not right to have patients sitting waiting for over an hour and then come and tell them they are going to have to wait until after a zoom meeting even they showed up on time for their appointment. She tells me with a rude tone, attitude and face that we can "Just leave". Now I get loud and start a talking loudly because I need someone to come out from the back to help because this girl wasn't trying to help. Just being nasty and rude to us for no reason, mind she is an intern at this office not even a real staff member. I would never want her a an MD, she has ABSOLUTELY NO bedside manners nor genuine care for patients & when I brought that to Dr. Lartigue's he said that some drs don't have that but they are still good doctors, I guess that was his justification for her unprofessionalism and rudeness. Due to his rude intern and I getting into a back and forth (Honestly I think he is more upset that I said "this is why I don't do Haitian doctors". He can be upset with me all he wants but to discharge my mother as a patient because you have a rude volunteer at your office is exactly why the medical system sucks now and if that girl becomes anything in the medical field good luck to her patients.

Now another week later I go to my pharmacy and still it has not been called in. Unacceptable. On one visit the doctor questioned why I was prescribed something that he himself had prescribed. He angrily and adamantly DENIED he has prescribed it. Then he finally reviewed his chart and saw that he had. He didn't apologize.

I'm injured and in pain and all the office did was become increasingly hostile to me when I couldn't make it all work. When I failed to coordinate all four offices, they cancelled the surgery, which they had said needed to be done quickly, and showed no interest in quickly rescheduling. I was disappointed by their complete lack of empathy and have moved to another practitioner.

Office staff is nice and just trying to earn a living wage. The doctors and "VPs" are everything wrong with healthcare. They have covered up mistakes, will not correct them, gaslight, and have left me with incredibly difficult questions for me to figure out essentially blindly, since they are obviously not telling me exactly what truly happened during my surgery. They should be shut down for not disclosing what actually transpired during my surgery. The doctor ignored my requests pre surgery and operated on me in a way I specifically asked him not to. Of course, he does not recall these conversations and insists I have a mental health issue despite trusting his "wait and see" approach for months. His office staff was kind and essentially I have to take my case elsewhere but it is fairly complex to do so, without elaborating. If this is where US healthcare is going, it is a terrifying future. You know how products today are built to fail, "controlled obsolescence"... Highland Surgical Associates has shown me that they are trying to take this approach to our bodies- doing procedures that ultimately fail their patients and leave them worse off, without acknowledging evidence of the damage they've done (including clear, obvious images). However, this review is docked a star due to the presumed behavior of his office manager. I took a personal day from work for a 4 PM appointment with Dr. Chang on a Friday. Upon arriving at 4 PM, an office worker was leaving and appeared to be in a hurry as it was Friday. She informed me that my appointment was canceled for lack of confirmation. She stated they tried to contact me multiple times but my voicemail was full (which is untrue, as others have left messages), and the doctor had already left for the day. Inside the office, the recurring explanation was a full or non-functional voicemail. Even if this were true, alternative contact methods were on file, yet no attempt was made to use them. Furthermore, standard practice is to wait a few minutes for scheduled appointments. When another worker offered to call the doctor, the manager rudely stated he had already gone home. The final unprofessional act involved a false emergency door alarm, seemingly intended to make me leave. I have lost the personal time I took off work, which I cannot recover

I could hear people behind the door but they would not answer. I called the office and it went to service. The recording said that the office was open until 6pm. Being that it was just after 5 I got curious and asked to speak to the on call provider. And was told that there were no more appointments for the day and they closed the office. I called the next day and a grossly incompetent person answered the phone who continued to repeat over and over again that my appointment was for next month. After speaking to a relatively competent person (the one who messed up my appointment to begin with) I decided to change Dr.'s. I took 2 hours of vacation time because they were seeing me so quickly.
