I told them the basic of what I wanted and I let them run with it. They came up with all the plants and the design and I even had a dry River Creek put down which is fabulous. It was one of the easiest projects I think I've ever been involved in and the project team that I worked with was great! They were the nicest bunch of people, so polite, on time, clean up was great including pressure washing my driveway. Darrell was the project manager that was responsible from start to finish. I pretty much left everything up to him and his expertise for suggestions, arrangements and most plants used. I wanted something low maintenance but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. His plan was perfect! Adam, the foreman, who actually supervised and did all the work out front was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Even asking him to make a change or add something was not difficult, he was so agreeable to please the customer. His Workman Kaboba and Jay work together so well it was pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Would I hire them again for another project, absolutely!

Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.

He told me that the the service was $25 per time he mows the lawn. We were interested in a monthly billing and negotiated down to $85 per month. We offered to pay the same rate on the winter when the grass does not grow and no mowing is necessary to ensure the same low rate $85 per month for weekly mowing. In the winter he came every 2 weeks which is expected because the grass does not grow. Bu throughout the spring and now into the summer her kept only coming every 2 weeks. So instead of our negotiated $21.25 per mow he was charging me $42.50 per mow. I called him to discuss it and his explanation was that it is actually more work for him to let my lawn get tall and unruly then mow it every 2 weeks instead. He said I could feel free to cancel at any time. That is exactly what I did, and so should you. You should find a neighborhood Kid to mow your lawn. The kid is less likely to rip you off. If you wand a mediocre lawn care service and a high potential of getting ripped off I highly suggest this company.

Mikey came out and said that wasn't necessary, that he would charge $150/hr and could fix it in a couple of hours...6 days (most of which he showed up in the evening and staid until late into the night) and $3,450.00 later, this is what he left me with. He said he would come back and fix it, but after seeing the entirety of what he did, I don't want him back on my property to do more damage and leave more mess. The system not only looks crudely constructed, it doesn't work at all. I had the company installing my sod send their irrigation guy out to assess what would be needed to repair it properly, and yep, the whole job needs to be ripped out and re-done. I requested a full refund of what I paid as I now have to pay again for the labor and parts, but Mikey is unwilling to do that. I am asking Yelp to honor their $2,500 guarantee and will be filing suit in small claims court for the remaining $950. I can't reply to your reply, Michael, but as you are the 'contractor' and the person that did this work, you know that you have been telling me you would be out since July 27th, the day after you finished the work. It is not my job to tell you to come clean up the job site and fix the shoddy job, though I've been requesting such since August 12th.
