NOTE: I worked with Moe Satari at CGM and purchased my countertops via Cabinets to Go…read more Moe was patient and effective resolving issues created after the wrong color tile was installed for the shower floor and the wrong kitchen sink was delivered to the job site (not CGM errors). Getting the sink originally specified would have delayed our project 6-8 weeks. The incorrect tile color was still great, but required a change to the countertop stone selection. Moe walked me through the CGM slab yard and helped find a countertop slab which worked with the tile in the kitchen and bath and was also an option available for Cabinets to Go clients. I love it even more than my original choice! Moe also worked with the fabrication team and CGM management to find a solution which allowed us to use the sink we had on hand vs. having to re-order. This saved time and money. When white caulk was used in the bath vs. the clear used in the kitchen, the look wasn't what I wanted given the charcoal gray stone chosen. With CGM, I experienced zero pushback and no excuses getting that error corrected promptly and properly. Too bad this approach isn't more typical of those in the construction trades! How a business addresses problems says so much about their integrity and customer service. I'd definitely use CGM for future countertop installations. It was a good experience all around.

He came by the house each day to check on things and communicated with us about when things would be done and it got deleted me when he said it would!! The crew was so polite and worked quickly. Frankie was easy to talk to and made me feel listened to when I had concerns or wanted things done a certain way. We were told several times when the manager could not make a meeting or was rushing there to meet for 10min, they were just "so busy with their other projects." Even the owner came at the end to look at a few things and didn't say one word besides hello. Honestly, we are still waiting on them to find a solution to paint on the custom oven hood and I doubt we will ever hear from them. Guess they are just writing off the small payment that's left. We have friends all over Southside and it's a shame that we cannot recommend this company because people ask all the time.

Stephen was very responsive, provided upfront pricing line by line, and was willing to be flexible with the timing of the project which was a tremendous help. The flooring was able to be put in quickly...there was a little hiccup due to an issue with additional subflooring that needed to be taken up but the additional cost to take it up was reasonable and Stephen communicated that upfront. The trim could not be completed same day due to the subfloor causing the floor depth to change but Stephen offered a temp stop gap solution, ordered new trim, and came back within a week to complete the work. Stephen was very good at communicating, sending me pictures to help me choose what kind of trim I wanted around the reception desk (I was not able to stay on premises). He also sent pictures and messaging as he encountered issues. Other contractors may have just done what they thought best but Stephen consulted with us prior to completing the work. They are a small company but have been growing very quickly over the last several years. I know this because I first contacted them about some landscaping concepts three years ago. At the time I think the company was scarcely more than a father and son operation. I didn't follow through with that effort but recently called upon them for another different job. They have grown significantly, I am sure from word-of-mouth, and now have multiple logo-wrapped trucks. I've been gut-renovating, almost exclusively DIY, a 100+ year old house. The front porch was brick stairs but they were in bad shape and had uncomfortable tread and riser dimensions. The young man Abraham from Rosete Hardscapes had some excellent ideas about how to retain the existing base but enhance the design with additional concrete, brick, and limestone. As I said, I use very few contractors, preferring DIY, but this was a project I knew was beyond me. They did an absolutely fantastic job. Very skilled craftsman. They definitely don't work for free but the value is 100% there. I am very glad I went with these guys, they are top of the line.

I've held off writing my review out of compassion for small business. I cannot let that affect the…read moreresult of others' projects. First of all, I should have looked elsewhere when the owner didn't return phone calls and then was late for our first appointment. With the invention of cell phones, there is no reason to leave anyone waiting unexpectedly. Now onto the quality of their work. The polished edges look as though they were training an apprentice. Two of the slab had to be sent back to grind the radius corners into an actual radius. One of the slabs was mis-cut and they thought I wouldn't notice. The front of the slabs are not in line with the front of the cabinets. Why do a template if you're not going to align the slabs. One slab on the side of the range is not level and is obvious. The slab between a wall and refrigerator panel was cust about a quarter of an inch narrow. That's fine if they would have split the difference. But, no. They shoved it on an angle to one side. It looks like a mess. The sink cut out looks as though the apprentice was either drunk or just plain didn't give a crap. When I asked the male owner what he thought about it, his response was, "Could we have done better? Yes. Is it acceptable? Yes." The installer got caulk all over my cabinets and when I asked the owner how I could get it off, it was suggested I use paint thinner or something like that. Yep. Use paint thinner. Morons. I ended up using mineral spirits. Why was it up to me, the customer, to have to do that? It was on me if I took the finish off my brand new custom cabinets. They should have sent someone to do that. And don't get me started on their ability to caulk the tile backsplash to the new counter top. Pathetic mess. And the silicone all over my new sink is a real treat. Perhaps I expect more for $4000. We didn't use level one granite. We used manufactured stone which is more expensive. Save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.
