I had to contact them on a monthly basis for an update. I understand supplier issues and weather delays but communication is key. There was no communication unless I initiated it. We started the process in November. The project did not start until April. The materials were to be unloaded on our paved driveway. Instead it was unloaded on our freshly sodded and seeded grass. Our contract included new shutters. The old shutters were put back on the house. This was brought to Bill's attention during the process. The shutters were never ordered. We waited another 3 weeks. The wrong size was ordered. Another 3 weeks for replacements to be delivered. The outside light was not working when the crew left after the first visit. We waited a week for someone to fix this. Before the job was completed, Bill sent a job completed letter to our insurance company. We were asked multiple times by Revival for final payment before the job was completed. I'm happy with the final project. The crew did good work. However, due to the process, I would not recommend.

I was more than respectful and asked for a small dent repair throughout my home on my trimming. They cost me $5000 for a $800 job! I communicated to the owner Jef immediately the same night the job was complete where I saw issues. They were at my house until 10pm at night for 2 days in a row trying to recover their screw up. Only reason I didn't notice everything right away is they were done so freakin late. Something that should have taken a 3-4 hours took them 2, 10 hour days. As soon as I did a walkthrough the following day I saw how poor of a job this was. They were even unprofessional to pour the old paint water and remains down my sinks and drain! They didn't tape the areas, painted over all trim on to the walls and now I have to get the whole wall painted. Even we're sloppy to paint on my hardwood floors. The owner made false promises to come rectify the issue and always had an excuse. Now that I asked them to fix it now he wants to say well you paid and the contract is final even though I presented the problem within the 2 weeks after service there within the contract to advise them of the issues. I literally showed him that night and the very next day. Super unprofessional company and I will never recommend them to anyone. Sad part is I have at least 50k worth of work that they screwed up from not rectifying a $800 job. These kids need to get it together and I will be sewing this company. They could have either fixed it or refunded my money and those chose not to do either. He even tried to blame the previous painters on their poor job as well yet this trim job had nothing to do with the spot job on the walls. Completely different areas. Very poor service and never use this company. So I've attached the entire conversation throughout the process and pictures of the damages. You see I was super professional, tried to accommodate and be understanding. Gave them plenty of time to fix this and here is how it ended. It's now June so I've had time to settle in with my carpet and wanted to provide a review of the experience. I read lots of reviews and research things to death before I make a decision so I don't give people a high rating just to be "nice". I also consider myself to be be a little hard to please because I'm used to doing a lot of work on my home myself and I have a high standard of quality while being thrifty. That being said, I shopped around a few quotes and came back to FlooringRVA. Long story short...I felt the price I paid for what I wanted was spot on. I had a good experience with the two man crew that came to install the carpet and padding. And 6 months later things are still meeting my expectations. Robert, the owner, was the real reason behind going with FlooringRVA a second time. He personally came to measure and offer suggestions. I preferred to text and Robert made himself available at all times throughout the day when I had questions. I didn't always expect an immediate response but one was always received. I could tell he and his staff were committed to my being satisfied throughout every step in the process and I couldn't find that level of customer focus with any other competitor. But they are a good value, considering they are getting things done I NEED to have done. And the y were available within a few days of me making the request and agreeing to a phone estimate. I sent over photos of where I was at in clearing the yard myself and I was given a quote from them with the start date of the coming up Tuesday. I told them I was planning to do more work the next day (Sunday) and asked if I could send updated photos for a new quote after I finished for the day, since they weren't starting until Tuesday, and I was told yes. I was also told they would come to my house and look at the job on that coming up Monday, the day before the job was to take place. I message that Monday evening to see if this took place and I was given a new quote in which I agreed to, with the job still being Tuesday. Come Tuesday, they showed up and said they could not complete the job as it was too large and would take too long. This company clearly does hold their word and it turns out that no one actually came out to my house on that Monday before I was given the new quote, they just based it on my second set of photos I sent. This is 100% their error and they should still have follow through on our agreement but they won't.

There isn't much the owner can't do. Excellent customer service and communication. He is very organized and detail oriented. He always wore shoe covers over his boots which I can appreciate and he puts down drop cloths when working inside. He even used a hand held vacuum to clean up and took the packaging from the faucets with him to throw out. I will be using him for my next project of replacing my rental property roof.
