The heart of the business is all about retriever training for your gundog / hunting dog / companion in the field. During your dog's training we will follow Mike Lardy's program. This program has been proven throughout the years. It focuses on a mentored relationship with the dog. Like a coach getting the best out of its players. Teaching is our priority not testing or timelines. We have several different bird suppliers in the area to train with real birds. You can't build a bird dog without birds. From pigeons for puppies to pheasants and ducks, having contact with live birds is something that separates us from the other trainers in the area. Our training program also includes detailed one-on-one training to ensure that you understand the training your dog has received. I'm building the car; I need to teach you how to drive it. To me, this is extremely important because you, as the owner, need to have a solid understanding of what your dog is capable of, and how to get the most out of your dog when they return home.

History

Established in 2018.

We opened on July 4th, 2018. Patriot Retrievers came about through my passion for the retriever games. I fell in love with the sport and the process of training dogs. I started training dogs in 2008, and have been obsessed with it ever since. -Owner, Sean Rogers
