A decent example is when the substitute didn't have a key to my unit (a key which my dedicated walker has) and saw that the management office was closed (there is a sign on the door saying to push a call button to get in touch with someone from the management office), instead of calling my cell or my emergency contact, the walker just stayed in the lobby for the allotted walk time. This meant that my dog didn't get walked that day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time so I write this review as a caution to anybody looking for pet walking services that while this company's dedicated walkers are great, they don't have the best customer service when your walker isn't available and at the price you're paying per walk, it's unacceptable that this type of incident has happened on multiple occasions.

My dog's sitter came reliably and I appreciated that he was clearly genuine and honest (ie for one walk he mentioned that Brody mostly sniffed around rather than covered much distance, which is totally true and showed me that I wasn't just getting a canned message about his walk). The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is how tedious the client registration process was. After my initial email inquiry, I was sent a 15 page document to complete, scan, and send back- all before even confirming my service requests were doable or answering my questions about how billing would work. I know there are online portals for walk services that might have made getting set up a little more convenient, and which allow for email walk messages rather than the paper and pen notepad messages. But again, no complaints about the staff or service that would prevent me from recommending this business- just some opportunities for the client-side experience.

So i scheduled a grooming session for the two adorable bastards. Not only did they pick up and drop off the kitties, they came back beautifully groomed and with adorable bowties. And it's all so very affordable! I'm a huge fan, and will budget for monthly grooming sessions from now on.

On the other hand, Sherry has been so great with the dogs - they love her. She made me feel so at ease and I could trust her completely. The best part is, she would text me everyday with a picture and a description of how the walk went. Whenever I requested anything, Sherry was patient, flexible and understanding. She even came twice a day when Milo was a young puppy to let him out. She has by far the BEST service hands down. Problem: The company we originally hired had not properly set the cat-feeder so our cat had not eaten for the whole day, and possibly for the three days prior. She's a geriatric cat who needs to eat every six hours. By the time we identified this problem it was late at night on a Friday, the other company had closed (basically 9-5 hours) and could not be reached. Solution: Andrea & Javier. They were the only ones to reach out to me within the 20-30 minutes that some other companies here are on Yelp are apt to respond to (Yelp has this information) AND were able to take on the emergency. I had sent a batch message to pet-sitting companies in the area and within 20 minutes Andrea called me on my cell phone. By this time it was close to midnight. I told her the situation and she was very sympathetic and agreed to go in, fix the feeder and feed the cat that night. They were very communicative during the process. After they fed her, we contracted them for the remainder of our trip. Conclusion: Andrea & Javier really are the best of the best. Their sympathy, availability, & work ethic are impeccable and you want someone like them to take care of your pet while you're away.
