I explained to him that we moved out of Silver Lakes and we now live in Victorville but I was willing to come out there because he did a good job before. He tells me he can meet me there at 6:00 tonight. I drive out there get there 10 minutes early and then when he didnt show up, I texted him at 6:25 and he rambled on about how he had a lot of people text him and he had X-rays and his kid was hot and crying... he then said he doesn't make same-day appointments and that he thought I needed it done before Saturday. It would have been fine if he had just said oh I messed up and forgot but no, he tried to argue with me and acted like he hadn't made an appointment with me at all. Why would I make up having an appointment at a certain time and make a 40 min drive if you hadn't set that up? It makes no sense. I then contacted my other friend who I know goes there and she said he had done the same thing to her as well. That is really no way to run a business especially in a small community because eventually people will either talk or they'll get tired of showing up and you're not there. EDIT AND UPDATE: More BS from this reply... he never apologized or offered to give my son a free haircut! WOW, all I can say is next time really apologize instead of blaming on the customer and that will probably be sufficient.

First complaint: Their business hours stink. It may be convenient for the Owner/Operator(s), but they are certainly not stretching themselves to serve the needs of the average Customer. Most barber shops are open from Tuesday-Saturday, 9-5pm. Their Monday, Weds-Friday schedule is quirky. Second - Most people I know prefer to call ahead and set-up an appointment to ensure they get in & out as quickly as possible without any sitting around time. Again, here the fail. All of my several calls to them, even during their declared business hours go unanswered. There wasn't even an answering machine! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I always try to spend my hard gained income locally to show support for other locals; but I am just not sure these folks appreciate that sentiment, nor provide reciprocal consideration.
