I took my truck to Patterson Chrysler Dodge in Marshall Tx last week. They told me to bring it back Tuesday the 2nd after 2. I took it up there. They looked at it . They told me I needed to make an appointment to bring it back and then leave it for 3/4 days before they look at it and tell me what they are going to do to fix it. And than leave it again for them to fix it. I said you know the problem can I nake an appointment bring it here have it fixed and go. Please beware! I do not want another woman to experience what I did at Patterson Dodge in Marshall TX. I bought a new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer on 8/31/22. It had less than 200 miles on it. I asked my sales rep if Wagoneer had any known issues because it was a newly designed vehicle. He said no issues at all. They did not have a Wagoneer on their lot and had to get one from another dealership. The sales rep said that I HAD to complete the deal before they would pick it up, so me being trusting I signed all paperwork before driving the new vehicle. I immediately noticed that I could not connect to wireless Apple Carplay with my Iphone 14, even with the Apple Charge cable Apple Carplay would not always work. I also noticed that the Stop Start system to save fuel would not work properly. It only works when A/C is off, The navigation system also does not work as it should. It tell me to make turns where there is no street near, streets are not named correctly, speed limit does not read signs correctly. I took it back to Patterson Dodge to have it looked at. I was told after 2 days that my Wagoneer was ready for pick up. When I asked if everything was repaired I was quickly told that the service department would explain when I got there. I went to the service dept to pick up my vehicle and was told that there was nothing wrong. None of my issues were addressed. I was told that Stop/ Start worked as it should with AC off, Apple car play worked fine with their phone, navigation was fine etc. i asked to speak with a manager. The Service manager came out. He said he personally checked things out, after I told him that I purchased other vehicles and stop/start always worked with AC and never had a problem he started talking down to me, started intimidating me and making me feel like I was the issue not the vehicle. He was talking to me so bad that I had to ask him to stop talking to me that way. I felt so intimidated and belittled that I just gave up and left. I truly feel like if I were a man or had my husband with me I would have been treated differently. None of my issues have been fixed. I called Wagoneer after many phone calls and countless wasted hours I was told that there will be a system update in the future. Because this is not mechanical it does not fall under the lemon law. It plainly states on my window sticker, Wireless Apple Car Play and Stop/Start. I did not get what I paid for and No One is willing to make it right. The owner of the dealership could not even be bothered to return my phone call. I received an email stating that " we do not do business that way". No apology, nothing. LIE... called today Rick the prick said it would be ready at 2:30.... lie again.... It is 1pm and I have been working on a deal for a new Jeep Compass 2019. And I decided to not take the deal and thanked them for their time. We were working together online. Within a few minutes the sales manager called me to ask why I didn't take the deal. I said it didn't work for me. He stated that his people had worked 10 hrs on this and he wanted to know WHY I have never been badgered like this . He was truly angry that I didn't take deal. I wasted his time!!! I have been trading with Patterson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Marshall for years. Have bought enough vehicles through them to start a small car lot. They have always been fair, honest and glad to see me when I come on the lot. The owners and managers call to let you know how much they appreciate your business. Besides the main reason I keep coming back is that I like their products. I am an avid JEEPSTER and love the Jeep brand. I wouldn't use this dealership. I had broke down near Marshall, and had it towed there. They did a timing belt job $1300+. They told me that they would need to do the water pump and thermostat also while it was apart. Everything seemed ok. 340 miles later the car overheated. I had it towed to the nearest chrysler dealership. They inspected it for me, and said did they not tell you that the radiator is bad? Did they tell you about the cooling fan that doesn't work?, did they not offer to change out the bad motor mounts? I understand that mechanics aren't magicians. I spoke with Rick, and ended up being hung up on after the conversation got heated. I called back and spoke with Kerry Ferrier the service manager, he didn't bother to offer any sort of explanation, and obviously was just getting through the call. He also was just itching to hang up on me if I so much as raised my voice. He then offered for me to go to another dealership and explain it all to them and see what they think. My family has purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership and that went relatively smoothly. However, recently I was sent an extremely misleading package in the mail that made it clear to me that I had won several hundred dollars from the dealership. Assuming that a dealership with whom I had a professional relationship would not send me something that was untrue, I made the 45 minute drive to Marshall to claim my price. When I got there I was asked to fill out a form with extremely personal information such as my income, my monthly mortgage payment, and my current monthly truck payment. After reluctantly filling out the form I was told that I was only entered for a CHANCE to win the prize, I ended up leaving with a 2$ mp3 player "for my time." Needless to say, I felt very betrayed and mildly angry that a company who I have bought several vehicles from would be involved in such bad business practices. read more
