Sven was the first to respond. He offered to come out immediately after normal work hours for a free quote. He thoroughly inspected the tree and assured me that it wasn't in imminent danger of falling over. That night he sent over a quote that was substantially lower than I had feared it would. He scheduled the job for the weekend, showed up on time, and just worked solidly until the job was done. Pretty much a flawless transaction. We'll use him again for sure.

They also were the only contractor who did not come do a site survey before giving me a quote, which led to a logistical issue of where to stage the bucket lift and needing to drive the large truck in between our fence posts. I did explicitly say we were planning on replacing the fence, so I am not particularly upset, but I have to mention on this review that he bent our fence post with the truck and did not mention it to us. Imo, just a few avoidable logistical issues. Great tree service? Yes, absolutely. Good work and good value. Professional conduct? I'm sorry to say could be better.

They removed a fence panel to access a large tree stump that had sprouted 10 foot branches near and under my fence. After surrounding the area with heavy net barriers to prevent collateral damage, they brought in a stump grinder, ground up the stump after using a chainsaw to remove the sprouted branches, smooth-raked the area, replaced the fence panel secured it with screws, and made it look like nothing ever happened. They arrived in early February and cut the trees, but notified us at that time that they could not grind the stumps due to the snow. We have phoned them numerous times they never answered the phone or returned our voicemail messages. Very disappointed in their lack of response.
