The patties at this place are off the chain. They are so good. I tried the ackee and saltfish one, I tried the callaloo one, and I tried the vegetable one; and each one was better than the last. They also serve other food there besides patties. You can get your patties to eat right away or you can get box of patties to take home. Randomly stumbled onto this page cuz I was craving patties but I only knew of 2 near by and wanted to see if there were more. Was reading the older reviews and saw that there was jerk chicken patty?! sounded really good so I HAD TO GO TRY IT. Location was a bit hidden but not too far of a drive to me and was easy to find/get to. I got a spicy beef and jerk chicken patty with coco bread and a box of cold spicy beef to go so that my family can try it! Jerk chicken was super spicy to me and my mouth is still burning lol. Hi Yelpers, Been a long time. COVID-19 has really strict hard but I'll try my best moving forward to post. I decided to travel to Pattie World Bakery because it was recommended to me by a coworker. The location is in a industrial setting but jot hard to find. Though parking spots maybe minimal. I went later in the evening which was fine. I was greeted by the staff who were really nice. I told them it was my first time as they could see me look around like a tourist haha. The lovely lady offered a sample to try which I highly enjoyed. So I ended up buying half a dozen beef and half a dozen jerk chicken pattie and a pound of jerk chicken. The patties to me were delicious. I don't know what makes a pattie good but I enjoyed it a lot. The beef was on a sweet side. The jerk chicken was spicier than I thought. Went here for a quick lunch in the Etobicoke area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service despite how small the place is. For starters, the menus, promos/deals are written on colourful Bristol Board which is definitely eye catching, but kind of distracting when you're trying to read everything or if you already have something in mind. If you're looking for the sizes of the Tupperware - it is glued right above the door (which you won't notice right away unless you're reading the menu already and your eye will eventually glance in that direction). Anyways! I ordered 3 Jamaican patties, my partner ordered the special (can't remember exactly what it was). My Jamaican patties were cooked to perfection, they were crunchy on the outside, hot in the inside. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his food as well. I would definitely say this is a hidden gem in Etobicoke. I actually didn't find this search easily on Google unfortunately. Pattie World has been a long time favorite for us. I opted for paying the $1.00 extra on the dozen for the warm ones. It gives me the instant gratification of indulging on the drive home. You can choose between frozen or fresh patties to go which come in a box of twelve. The location is kind of hidden. Customer service is great. They do get busy around the lunchtime hour. read more

I found this place when I worked in the area, a lot of my co-workers would go there. The patties are really tasty. The jerk chicken patty is my family's favorite. When I used to go there for lunch, they would have many patties served hot but the last couple of times I have gone (after work or on the weekends) they only have hot beef patties, the others are available but are cold or frozen. Not a huge problem because I usually am there for one beef patty and a box of jerk chicken to enjoy at home. Other patties they have that I have tried, beef, chicken, veggie, salt fish, callaloo. I went to Pattie world bakery today for the first time. I found them on google by luck while I was in the area. Not only were the patties fantastic, but the owner of the bakery was so kind and respectful. I knew they were serious about their patties when they asked if I want mine microwaved or popped in the oven. The shop is quite small and more of a pickup window type shop but I personally love how authentic and unique it is! I personally liked their chicken and veggie patty more than the beef, but they were all delicious. I got 8 parties for 10 bucks ! Totally worth it. They sell by the dozen and half dozen too and have many other flavours. Their coco bun is also fresh and delicious. Big ups !!!!! read more

The worst experience ever !!! went for lunch and order the lunch special, which is the Jerk Chicken and rice and peas, after I ordered the food the lady was preparing it in the back then I realized that I forgot to order another special for one of my co-workers and she came back with my food and I apologized and asked if I can add another special to my order and she responded back " you should have told me before as I have other customers waiting and wont be able to do it" at this point I did not want to cause an issue as I am the customer and trying to spend money at their establishment which is beneficial to them, then I waited till everyone ordered their food. then I ordered the food again and waited another 10-15 minutes for the food. never had an such a rude and unprofessional service before. I will never go back there again, that's for sure. I hope she get some customer service training on how to talk to customer, and hopefully in the future she wont lose them never go there !!!!
