Pretty cool little bar/ restaurant in this area...my niece told us about this and we took the whole family down to check it out. They have some really good seasonal beers and while most the fam did a sampler, hub and I opted for just a pint of what sounded the best. I got the pumpkin ale and he got a darker amber beer. Beers were really good. We decided to get the sliders with just meat and cheese and the buffalo strips. Burgers were solid, chicken was not homemade and the fries were your average fry..the buffalo sauce was the star...very good. They have only a few bathrooms in the joint and they were in need of serious attention. It was a disaster to have to take my elderly mom into a nasty bathroom like that....I am hoping they fix this. The atmosphere was pretty depressing. The waitress was hard to understand as she mumbled and slurred her speech the whole time. She seemed like she was either drunk or very high. Bar manager looked like he was in another world and didn't really do anything besides greet people when they walked in. The burgers were great though! The fries had a nice crunch to them. Just make sure your ketchup isn't old.... Be sure to check the beer glasses before drinking, I cut my lip on mine. The rim of the glass was broken. The bathroom was also horrific. This place is off the hook the ambience is straight out of the prohibition era with at least 30 beer taps. I had the Alaska Amber with the Bootlegger and fries, my burger was med well I was very happy. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. I come for the P&P fries. They are so good and savory (I don't even know what's on em). The burgers I've had have all been yummy and the side you get make the meal more than enough food. Excuse the red light district feel in the pics. They had red Christmas lights on our side. I was starving so we popped in. There was a bit of a wait and we ended up sitting at the bar. I order the delicious and succulent ribeye steak sandwich with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. Yo! It was sooooo good! If my momma were here, she would have been slapped! IJS My husband ordered the cheese curds, which were tasty and crispy. He also ordered the baked spaghetti...he barely spoke to me when he dug into it and had his first bite. If his momma was here, she would have been slapped...twice. It was super busy in here, but well worth the wait. We are planning a weekend trip to come back and try more items from their menu. We stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant was located next to a lot of shops. There was only a handful of people inside, which made it a nice atmosphere for a group with a small child. There is a small stage by the restrooms for entertainment. There was plenty of food on the menu for our group to choose from. We got the fried mushrooms to start with. All I have to say is....AWESOME!!!! Then, our group got hamburgers all around. Great selection of them on the menu. Everyone loved them, and they were all cooked to perfection. I had the Kingfish sandwich with onion rings my buddy had the Irishman Po boy with fries. We feel like both were heavy on the bread. He described his as bland, mine had good flavor it had the blackened shrimp on it. My onion rings were overcooked (some onions burned out of them). The service was really very good though especially for only 2 servers with a full room of 60 plus people! The kitchen kept up very well and was normal paced for a restaurant. The ambiance was really nice with a wonderful window and bar area. I'd likely go for wings and burgers next time but will definitely be back! read more

We stumbled upon this place as it was near our hotel. The service & drinks (Apple Donut Cider) were great, as was the ambience but the food was a miss for us. We ordered unpopular choices which was our own fault, but we didn't even want to take it home after only eating half. I got the Fish and Chips which was super mediocre. Husband got Philly Cheesesteak and Loaded Tots. PC was pretty average, but the tots were very oniony and just not that great! We wouldn't be against trying it again as we're not the pickiest. We were here last year on vacation and had to come back, First off, Erin is an amazing server, she was extremely friendly, was on top of my sweet tea addiction like no other server has! Glass was never under half full! The beer cheese is the reason I love this place. Started out with the pretzels and beer cheese. Love their pretzel!!! Hubby had the Big Cheese. He loved it! He is a burger guy and it definitely passes his test! I went with the Irishman with chicken. The beer cheese and the Philly style sandwich is a perfect combo! I used to work in the dining industry and think these people have a great thing going! Very clean! Saw every table cleaned thoroughly by the wait staff between customers. Server was very pleasant but chaotic and overwhelmed. There may be a staffing shortage, so the server isn't always to blame. The food was prepared well, but nothing we had was scratch made. I wish I could give this spot a stellar review. Being an active SSU Alumni and my better half being from the area we are in town often. We tend to stick to our tried and true staples. My husband had tried your establishment once before and was not impressed. After I had eaten some wings at a luncheon verifying the great taste. I finally talked my husband into stopping for an early dinner. When we came in we were essentially ignored. We eventually made our way to the bar. Service in general is sometimes hard to find as of late. Good service seems to be even harder. I ordered an Old Fashion that tasted like something else entirely. Some of our food was piping hot, some, just plain cold. For the price, I was expecting much more. If the food and drinks all had come at once, heated, spare the drink, our food tasted good! Banana pepper rings were crisps sitting for so long, coming with our dinner. I'm not sure I could twist the husband's arm, once again. The space is very cool. Ok, whomever said this place was "rushed" is wrong. The burgers were great, cooked right. I got the Al Capone $15. The cajun wasn't over powering or too spicy. Same with the blue cheese. The bacon was thick and cooked nice and crispy, not like buffet bacon all limp and thin. The bun was fine, but probably the worse thing on the burger. Don't get me wrong, it was good It just had a burger king vibe to it without the seeds or maybe day old. I got regular fries and there were a lot of them. They reminded me of truffle fries, but not sweet. We also got the sweet potato tots, whichlooked like a whole bag of tots! They were good. You can get a flight of 5 beers for $10 bucks. The food at Patties & Pints is consistently excellent. We have tried several sandwiches/burgers, fries, cheese curds, and salad. The sloppy joe is the best I've ever had! The beer cheese and onion straws just make it over the top good. Buns are always warm and toasty, burgers are well seasoned, and fries are hot and fresh. (Highly recommend the P&P Fries for just a little extra something.) We find the cheese curds a tad spicy, which is not stated on the menu, otherwise they're good, but that's just our personal taste. We're not beer drinkers, but if you are, I'd say you would love the selection. There is a huge beer menu on the wall. Love the atmosphere and decor, and the bar is cool. It can be loud, but that's to be expected. On the negative, we find the service to be increasingly disappointing. We have on multiple occasions watched the servers sit near the bar on their phones while not waiting on customers, which I find very unprofessional. It's a little annoying when we're sitting there with empty glasses or in need of something. I just personally think you should at least pretend to be doing something, rather than sit on your phone when customers are present. This has actually become a big turn off. The last time we visited the hostess was super unfriendly, just stared at us without saying a word when we walked in, then proceeded to sit us at an unclean table with an obvious smear of some kind of food across it. We asked if she could please wipe the table off, which resulted in her letting out a big irritated sigh. After wiping it down, she immediately went and sat down by the bar and got on her phone.
