The way Dr. Jang evaluates my body and pain is truly unbelievable. He carefully goes over each part of the body--bones, muscles, and areas of tension--to find the root cause of the pain. I asked about it because it felt different from other chiropractic clinics, where they usually just do adjustments (which are still good). Dr. Jang uses a special technique called ART and treats my pain very gently. He explained that the muscles and pain points need to be properly evaluated first before doing any strong adjustments, which made a lot of sense to me. After several treatments, I felt a huge difference in my neck, shoulders, and back--as if the pain was being healed from the core. It's a very gentle but precise approach for deep muscle pain. I can tell that he really monitors my pain points and provides treatment based on my condition and progress, which makes the treatments even more effective. And the massage therapy afterward is truly amazing. I've dealt with pain from past car accidents, so I know how important it is to find good care--that's why I appreciate Eden Clinic so much. Fun fact: they have really advanced X-ray equipment and tools. Dr. Jang even discovered that my right leg is slightly shorter than my left, which may have caused me to lean a bit when standing. In long 4 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke, and one of her neurologists referred her here as part of her care. Among other things, she needs to increase flexibility in her left arm and leg, and cut down on pain and spasm in those areas. Even though she has been terrified of needles since she was little, she is game to try anything that could help her bounce back on the road to recovery. Getting her set up in their system was easy enough, and they do take our insurance. In our case, there's a $50 copay, which ends up being very much worth it. The receptionist told us they're right by H Mart, which not only makes them easy to find, but also gives us tons of reasons to joke about adding grocery shopping to our errands after a session here. We filled out some paperwork to outline her medications and medical concerns, and wheeled back just a minute or two later. Turns out acupuncture likely has no bad interactions with most medications, though they do want to know if you're on any herbal supplements--they take care to prevent interactions with those. It's a new-ish, clean, well-lit office. The treatment rooms are small and somewhat bare. There's a padded table in the middle where you lie back and let the needles go to work on you. Dr Yoon came in after a minute or two and asked where she wanted to focus her treatment. She had to pull up her sleeve and her pant leg, but that was it. We've already been back once, and made sure he brought over pillows to support her left leg while she laid back. After a few minutes, lying totally flat is essentially unbearable for her, and they made sure she was fully comfortable. She went from 10-12 minutes in place the first time to well over 30 minutes the second time. Both times, she has been immediately much more limber for the whole day and several days after. Easier time hopping up into my truck (I have to help her do this, and believe me, I can see the difference). Left hand no longer swollen and red. Nausea much more under control. She just feels better all over after seeing Dr Yoon. We have 10 more visits covered this year. We'll use all of them. If there were no copay we'd probably come twice a week. The whole staff here is nice, and Dr Yoon in particular is a very soothing and caring person.

Recently, I have been told by my doctor that I am a severe diabetic patient who needs to inject…read moreinsulin right away. My blood sugar level was 278. I panic and told a friend of mine because I do not want to start insulin injection. I fear of using insulin because it is troublesome, expensive, and hard to get off once you start. My friend told me to talk to Dr. Diana Hester, a Chinese acupuncture and medicine doctor I had met several years ago, when I had come down with a terrible flu. I remember Dr. Hester first told me to go to the emergency room right away back then because she worried I may have Pneumonia and needed to be hospitalized right away. After visiting the ER, I was ok to go home because I did not come down with Pneumonia. However, I was feeling very ill with severe coughing, headache, fever, and fatigued. Dr. Hester then started treating me with some Chinese herb soup, 3 times daily. That night I started feeling sleepy after 2 sleepless nights due to terrible coughing and high fever, and the next day when I woke up, although still feeling tired, all terrible symptoms were relieved.
