I always look forward to your booth at Jazz Fest each year. I have enjoyed the combo plate and the crawfish beignet separately in the past, so I tried the beignet this year, even though they were shrimp instead of crawfish. Very disappointing. They were dense, salty balls of dough with absolutely NO shrimp to be found. Hope you do better next year. read more

We had the pleasure of visiting the Pattons historic home today for their Sunday brunch which was amazing! I loved the entrance, decor, different rooms, and the impeccable service. Like we literally had two waiters waiting on us. The energy and vibes were warm and welcoming. The kids loved their food and ate three times lol. The strawberry punch alcoholic beverage was good can't remember the name. Can't wait to return. read more

Patton's Salmen Fritchie House is a historic home built in 1895 by Fritz Salmen, one of the founders of the city of Slidell. The 6500 square foot mansion had many famous visitors over the years including Governor Huey P. Long. Governor Long visited so often, in fact that there is a room in the mansion named after him. Today the home is used as an event space and catering service. I've had the pleasure of attending a wedding here as well as a bridal shower. They were both lovely and the food was stellar. The wedding was at night and they did a fantastic job with that in particular. The little touches like putting candles on every stair on the staircase and stringing lights in the oak trees outside really made it really special. If you want to plan an event in a unique place that will leave a lasting impression on your guests, look no further than this grand mansion. read more

Saw them on Facebook talking about Sunday brunch. I'm a huge brunch fan so we decided to check them out. It's $32 a person for all you can eat. Coffee and tea included. It was super cute and delicious. All of the food was chef quality amazing. The best part is they change the menu every Sunday. There was not one item that I didn't absolutely love. Crawfish bisque was so good and soul warming. Jambalaya was bursting with flavor. The shrimp pie was the best seafood pie I've ever had. Plus the grits were perfect. They also have an omelet station and eggs Benedict available also. The space is also used for weddings. Not to mention all the servers were amazing and attentive. We had Stacy and we loved her. I'm so terribly disappointed!! I just picked up 4 combos and dropped them off to devout JazzFest friends and came home with mine to sit outside and enjoy on this beautiful day! The oyster patty had ZERO oysters! The sauce had congealed, so I heated it up in the oven and it looked fabulous once heated. How disappointing that there were no oysters ! Hopefully, mine was a fluke and y'all are enjoying oysters in your oyster patties!! The crayfish sacks were very good. The beignets were good. read more

Patton's catered our wedding and they did a fantastic job. From the tasting down to cleanup it was spectacular. We DIed a lot of Y and they were insanely helpful. Not the cheapest caterer around but far from *expensive* and absolutely worth it. Just watch out, they do not include tip for the staff in the fee. We were unclear on that point and had to write an additional check later to make sure staff were taking care of. Overall, for their professionalism, helpfulness, value, and tastiness five stars! read more

Patton's is awesome! Look no further.... We can't say enough about our terrific experience working with them to cater and host our wedding. Not even Hurricane Nate could phase them and their resolve to provide the best service. With less than 24 hours before the wedding, we had to literally change almost every aspect of our wedding including moving the venue from an outdoor location in Mandeville to their (luckily available) on-site location at Patton's Historic Salmen-Fritchie House in Slidell. This is a beautiful venue for a wedding (or any other fun event), Patton's staff are terrific, and the food is fabulous!! The staff made sure everything ran smoothly and looked great for our wedding, including decorating the cake, setting up our flowers, and other important personal touches.
