This has been my first experience with acupuncture and from start to finish this experience is beyond exceptional! Patty was careful in explaining the steps of what she is going to do, making sure I'm comfortable each time I've been in, and so nice.. sweet.. on her care. I was skeptical in trying more care because of experiences I had with poor chiropractors. I have bulging disks putting pressure on my sciatic nerve and have been unable to sit, stand, hike, all kinds of things for long periods.. but after only a handful of treatments here I am already feeling back at it. I admit I was skeptical if acupuncture could help my very sore lower back. I'd been going to a chiropractor for nearly 2 months and wasn't feeling any results, other than the pain moving around between my hips and back to my lower back. So I decided to at least try acupuncture, and Patty was available the same day so my daughter (15) and I went in to give this a try. We came in and Patty was so kind and listened to where the pain was and what we were hoping to get out of the treatment. Patty was great at explaining where and why she'd place each filament in our bodies, and 30 minutes later I felt like a new person with nearly all the pain and inflammation gone. I am writing this the next day, and my back and my daughter's pain are still greatly reduced, and we will be going back to Patty for some follow-on treatments. The location is a little run down, and the inside could use some paint and updating, but as my daughter pointed out, we aren't going for the interior design, we are going for Patty's skill to help us feel better, and Patty has definitely delivered. read more

I've been going to patty Johnson's for just under a year, and she's been a godsend. I have 2 bulging disc, one near my neck and one on the lower back, my doctor said I needed cortisone shots, again. Ever since I met , I don't get those shots nor need to take medication. Patty does such an awesome job! I had pain in my left leg so much that it became numb!! I must say, at first I was skeptical about acupuncture, but after a few sessions my pain is almost completely gone and I don't have to get the injection in my spine! Also I don't have to take medications over and over again making me fatigued. Thank you patty for giving me my life back! I've been seeing Patty for 7+ yrs. Patty is an amazing acupuncturist, skilled practitioner, and is truly an insightful healer. Over the years Patty has treated me for a variety of things (injuries, anxiety, chronic pain, sciatica, post-radiation fatigue, digestive), all with amazing results, of course some issues required multiple sessions. Patty has worked me into her schedule for same day treatment when I've pulled a muscle...I would limp into her office experiencing pain so intolerable, treated, and then walked out as a different person with diminished pain & on my way to healing much faster. Patty is compassionate, listens to the details, and then knows exactly where to place needles to address issues. Patty is very knowledgeable and always interested in getting to the bottom of what ails a person. I am always amazed at how Patty can help to heal my body, she has changed my life. There's a place for western medicine, but as someone that avoids meds where possible, I prefer eastern treatment. Dr. Johnson is wonderful, and her prices are very competitive. My medical insurance doesn't cover acupuncture so I really had to do my research and she offered the best prices I could find and she's very knowledgeable. I have been suffering from intense, debilitating migraines since high school and I wish I would have thought of acupuncture earlier. Doctors have given me all kinds of meds for my migraines, including a daily prescription for antidepressants (I'm not and never have been depressed, and they made me moody) which didn't work, and a prescription for naratriptan which works most of the time but you only get a few at a time so if I ran out I was in deep trouble. I've had to visit Urgent care twice because the migraine pain would cause me to vomit uncontrollably so doctors would give me some kind of injection for the pain and one for the nausea and send me on my way. So basically finding Patty was like a miracle. I don't wake up with those terrible headaches that turn into migraines anymore, and let me tell you, it feels great to wake up not in pain, or to try and suffer through a few more hours of work when you just want to crawl into bed and pass out. I haven't touched my migraine prescription in weeks, pretty much since I first started with the acupuncture. In short, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Patty Johnson if you're thinking of having acupuncture. read more

Patty has been a great find. Mom is very old school, and dealing with acute Rhumathoid Arthritis, and constant pain daily. While not excited about the idea of needles - she forced herself to try accupunture at the suggestion of her doctor. Patty understood her shortcomings about this type of treatment, and went out of the way to make her relax, and give her feedback every step of the way. I was diagnosed with Bell's palsy and quickly made an appointment for acupuncture because I had heard it speeds up the healing process (made an appointment Literally the day after I was diagnosed!). Ive never had Bell's palsy so I was really worried because it can feel like you'll never get movement back in your face again. Also, I've never had acupuncture before so I was really nervous but they are a friendly staff and patty was really sweet and calming and explained everything she was going to do and what it was for. I have had 4 sessions (once every week) so far and my last session will be tomorrow. I started noticing significant movement in my face after my third session! Mind you Bell's palsy can last a few weeks to even 6 months or years! I was so afraid that would be the case with me but thankfully not. I believe it to be the fact I jumped to get acupuncture done so quickly after diagnosis. Now, I am about 90% better, I have most movement of my face back and no more numbness of my tongue. I highly recommend to come to Patty Johnson if you have been diagnosed with Bell's palsy, I know it's a scary thing to have but I am so glad I did this because it really helped to speed up my recovery. read more

I call Dr. Patty Johnson one of May sacred healers. I have used her off and on for more 15 years. Then about 7 or 8 years ago I landed in an emergency room and was diagnosed with degenerative join and disk disease. The physician told me this was a chronic condition and suggested I consider acupuncture. I immediately scheduled an appointment and updated her on my circumstances. We agreed that I would see her consistently and it has paid off. The consistent visits have minimize the pain and I have adopted healthier habits that minimizes pain and allows me to show up as a blessing in world. For over 5 years, Patty has seen my family for various things. My 10 year old daughter had a high fever and after doing the cold baths and still not being able to keep her fever down, I had Patty do a session to alleviate the heat and it broke the fever. My mom 78 year old mom goes to amp her energy, and treat her arthritis. I've gone for sluggish energy, migraines and PMS. She is a well kept secret in the Inland Empire.
