Was on the road traveling and decided to stop at Patty's Restaurant for breakfast. Patty's is a Southern eatery offering delicious Southern comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were able to seat ourselves and chose a table in the dining room. The restaurant has a Southern down home vibe and there is a gift shop for travelers. We were greeted quickly and received attentive service throughout the meal. Our drink and food order was taken timely and the food did not take very long to prepare. We all ordered Patty's choice that comes with bacon, sausage or ham, 2 eggs, biscuit or toast & gravy. I got my eggs over easy with the biscuits and gravy. Other people in my party got their eggs scrambled and over hard. I enjoyed my eggs and bacon. The biscuits were made from scratch but were a little hard for my taste. Over all had a good breakfast dining experience on the road. Stumbled upon Patty's after leaving Loretta Lynn's campground and let me say this place was amazing from the service to the food! Deidre was our wonderful waitress. We got the French toast, the loaded hash browns and the western omelette. Their homemade biscuits are top notch! Their buffet for lunch looked great too but we were in a breakfast mood. Service was fine. I ordered country fried steak and eggs for 15.99 as a truck driver I'm in restaurants nightly 15.99 a little steep but ok. When I got the food the steak was tiny and fried to hockey puck gravy thin as water and the hash browns wet starchy and just not great. Honestly Dennys is better. Ok no problem I'll move on and carry on till I got to the register and the bill was 25$ the lady says oh we charge 4$ extra for hashbrowns so 15.99 for a hockey puck and two eggs. Yes she didn't tell you that. No mam. Wtf charges 4$ extra for hashbrowns on a breakfast dish. So of course I tipped and left never to come back. read more

The buffet is the same every time I go, and it all seems to taste the same. It is buffet food - not a top quality - just buffet food. If you like regular buffet food, then go for it. Good old southern comfort food and exactly what you would expect in a roadside diner. Friendly staff and fried food abounding! My husband and I shared the club sandwich and fried green tomatoes. On a road trip from Louisville to Dallas, we stopped here for lunch. The service was friendly, food was good and well priced and I was severely tempted by the merchandise. The BLT did not skimp on the bacon, my husband enjoyed the open faced roast beef with gravy and the kids had cheeseburgers. We stopped in during our trip from OKC to Virginia Beach. I had been craving some ribs since we left Oklahoma and Patty's did not disappoint! We had the buffet which included ribs, chicken, fried fish, links, and more! The mac and cheese was really cheesy and delicious! The bread was just the right amount of sweet! The cobbler was like home made! The ribs already had sauce on them and the meat was so juicy and tender. The chicken was fried but not greasy as was the fish. I have so far tried the roast beef, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, macaroni, coleslaw, caramel pie and chocolate meringue pie. Recommend all of it! The wait for a to-go order is maybe 15-20 minutes at most. The food has been good each time and prepared correctly. The only issue i can think of is the inconsistent hours of operation, but given the staffing shortages most places face these days, I'm letting it slide for now. We went this afternoon. The waitress was friendly but definitely scattered. The restaurant was very clean. After sitting and watching the tables that came in after us get their food first, she started giving out tickets, and went to hand us ours, but looked at us and realized she never put our order in. Then after we FINALLY got our food, she never brought my salad. The hush puppies were raw inside, Cole slaw was hot. The fish was good, and he onion rings, were bad, daughter's hamburger was burnt and the toast it was on, was burnt. This is our first time here and it was very good. We came on Sunday for the lunch Buffett and it was just right. It had a nice variety of very good homemade salads and desserts. The main courses offered were meatloaf, fried chicken and baked pork chops and they were all delicious. They had a nice selection of sides, cornbread and dinner rolls.
