Outstanding bike shop and customer service! I purchased a very nice mountain bike and could not be happier with the price and information I have received in a very short amount of time. Being new to the MTB world I asked a ton of questions. David was very patient and answered every one of my questions and gave me tons of advice. I'm sure he hears the same questions several times a day but he displayed the patience of a saint. I like keeping things local and supporting businesses in our area. I'm going to bump them up a star after the great service I got today for a flat tire. I had a rip in my tire tube next to the valve stem which they fixed in about 5 minutes. Price was pretty reasonable and they seem like great guys. They also hold classes to show beginners how to do things like fix their own tires. They have a new fan. read more

This is a top notch shop! They've performed maintenance, repairs, and tuned up multiple of my bikes over the years. This includes both mountain and road bikes. I know that some may be turned off by price versus that of the internet, but this is where you come to get knowledge and input the internet won't share. It always feels good to support your local bike shop anyway. The entire team is passionate about riding and will do everything they can to answer questions for those who are new. This helped tremendously when picking out mountain bikes for my son over the years. It's professional, clean, and most importantly an honest place for all your bike needs. read more

It's a shame that this business chooses not to follow CDC guidance. I went in to pick up my bike today. As I went in the front door all 3 employees were mask-less. Upon seeing me come in all 3 put their masks on. I was then informed that they are choosing to stick to the old mask guideline, even after I informed them that I was vaccinated and what the CDC guidance was. I was informed that this was the owner's wishes. This is well within his rights, but it is also well within my rights to carry my business elsewhere. Even if I have to drive past this establishment that is what I will do. I will encourage those who agree with me to do the same. read more

I was really excited about coming here, and drove three hours to pick up a bike I was looking forward to purchasing and over the phone the employees seemed cordial. However upon walking in, the employees wouldn't help us out, instead continued working on bikes like we were ghosts, and provided very little advice on anything. Upon checking out, the staff continued doddling about while we awkwardly waited at the front for what seemed an uncomfortable amount of time. I really wanted to like this place but the selection they possess is weird, the staff is awkward and the pricing stiff. If you're looking for an honest deal with a friendly staff, I'd look somewhere else. read more

Called and asked how much it would be to get a bicycle wheel trued. Rep told me $15. I take the wheel there and when they finish, they charge me $25. 1 and done for me. Make sure you get your quotes in writing with these people or go to the Bike Doctor instead. read more

The people that work here are great. No matter my question, they work hard to answer. Recently, when I needed something the shop didn't have, a staff member looked up places I might be able to get it online and called me with the information. Another time, I asked that they do a repair on my hydraulic brakes (thought it needed to be bled). Turns out, it was just that a brake line connection was loose, so they tightened it up and returned my bike at no charge. Just can't beat the service! read more

I stopped in PAC one day because I wanted to see what they were all about. I started cycling earlier this year so my curiosity drew me in. While my wife was next door at the thrift store I dipped in to look around. I really enjoyed this place. The staff was eager to help me and they were all friendly. My next visit was the same, I asked to see a bike they had on their web site and Russ was very helpful showing me the bike and was offering to let me test ride it. It was a very pleasant experience visiting this shop. Although I enjoy doing my own maintenance I will definitely check this place out when I'm ready to get a new or different bike. read more

In addition to helpful and friendly service helping you find a new bike, they also host a few Craigslist used bikes. The parking lot is pretty long and wide, so it's a decent place to make sure everything is working. Watch out for the loose gravel at one end of the parking lot. Thankfully they didn't notice that I slid on the gravel and dropped a new bike I was testing out. Unfortunately, I can never come here again out of shame and fear. read more

No brainer here, the staff is super knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs / service. Picked our rental kayak up in the Holiday Inn where we stayed. Great 5 hour day trip in the local waters. Here's a tip....we found a vacant sandy beach on opposite side of Hidden Harbor Cafe to pull up our kayaks and had a great lunch. Didn't give 5 starts bc advance reservation did not get to local staff, about an hour late getting on wAter, but they did a nice job recovering from that miscommunication w the service. read more

Good Specialized bike selection, but I had a TERRIBLE service experience. Picked up my full suspension Specialized mtb on Saturday and tried to ride the next morning. 1. Brake levers hit my fingers before they started take hold/ 2. Chain fell off the lowest crank sprocket in the middle of a tough hill (twice). 3. Crank started squeeking within 4 miles. I fixed all these items myself beside the trail then returned to the shop to complain. They couldn't reproduce the problem on the "bench" - NO KIDDING! I told them I'd already fixed the problems. They did a few adjustments and asked me to do a test ride - in a frigg''n parking lot. Do this people really think you can test a full suspension bike on paved level ground? My bike may be old but it deserves better service than this. Hopefully they're better with roadies. read more

These guys are smug and arrogant. They ripped off a friend, replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced, and arguing with him about what his bike needed. I've been cycling for over 13 years, and they treated me like an idiot when I told them what I wanted done to my own bike. I was visiting the area without my bike tools and needed just a few adjustments. They tried to tell me that my bike needed a complete overhaul. REALLY? They are really into themselves, and show little-to-know respect to their customers. Seriously, JUST STAY AWAY. It's a bit of a hike, but the Bike Doctor in Waldorf, Maryland is certainly worth the trip! read more
