Gentle Pressure charged me $1,008 for a service that they did not perform and refused to refund me…read more It took 3 months to claw back half my refund through my credit agency. The Gentle Pressure technician arrived at my home, looked at my roof from his ladder, then immediately stepped down and recommended I have some roof damage inspected prior to administering treatment and that he'd tell the office that he didn't perform the work and I should call the office to initiate a refund. The business claimed to have requested a refund for me through Square and then committed to mailing me a check refund. Neither happened. The business did submit a dispute response to my credit agency which made it much more difficult for me to recoup my funds. Gentle Pressure took $504 from me and my roof still isn't treated. This is how Gentle Pressure makes money. Don't let it be from you.

His roofing & soffit teams did an excellent job & were easy to work with! Everything was as promised; quality of the materials, workmanship, & they did an excellent cleanup of the area once the job was completed. Also, both roofing & soffit crews showed up on the job sight as scheduled & completed the work on time. Very professional & great customer support! William was always available either by phone or text, and was routinely on the job site. I have already scheduled them to return to repair damages caused by a tree that fell on my garage roof.

He listened to me, asked me to send over pictures and he wld call me back in a few days. Well he called me back as promised with two solutions that did not involve me replacing all or most of the siding for a money grab. He said 1st he wanted to come and pick up the piece and try to color match it and option #1 was to use the color matched piece and then repair or #2: take a piece of siding from another place on the house and put the new "color matched" piece in its place. That way the color matched piece wldnt stand out. Option 2 and thank you! Well within two days and no fuss to me-it was repaired and my home no longer looks negelected. Thank you Mr. Richmond-your kindness and patience with this damsel in distress helped make a stressful situation go away. Unfortunately after a month the insurance company refused to fix it and we had to pay out if Pocket. When we were ready we were told they had to do another quote and it was the same price. Unfortunately my husband had a medical emergency and a month after his surgery I had to have emergency surgery as well. So here we are 6 months later ready to have our work done and pay out of pocket. I was told we needed a new quote and I'm ok with this because I was told last time the price was high because of wood being so expensive and I know the price has gone down. To my surprise they increased the price by $500. Yes $500!! Inflation has companies being greedy and price gouging and I'm not here for it. I contacted the company and tell them I'm willing to pay an extra $300 but $500 is just too much of an up charge. The company replied thanks for your message have a nice day. Ok great way to lose a customer and any recommendations we might have. Beware when contacting this company. They will up charge and have 0 issues with it. Fortunately we found a company to do it for $700 cheaper. I would hate for anyone to be ripped off so please get more than one estimate!!!

A month later, I still haven't heard from the other company. The estimation process was relatively painless, and the estimate was received about a week after the site visit. I was told it could be up to 6 weeks before I heard from the scheduler, due to their current workload. However, I was contacted on a Friday about 2 weeks later and was told that Monday had opened up for them and that a truck with the materials was already on its way to my property. Since they didn't need anyone home when the work was performed, I agreed. When I got home from work on Monday, the job was done. There was still some debris in the yard, but they did a really good job of cleaning up. I haven't found a single nail on the ground, yet. There were 30 MPH wind gusts the day of the job, so I'm surprised there wasn't more trash scattered around my 7 acres. (I'm also surprised I didn't find roofers scattered around my place!) I hope to work with them again in the future!
