If you are one with a microwave mentality, this is not the place for you. This practice is very slow stove top. It's run similar to a mom & pop and honestly, I like it. I previously saw a cosmetic dermatologist in the area and I went to a laser skin care center for years. You weren't considered an individual but more so an account. Your services weren't personalized nor personable. At the previous dermatologist, I was pushed services that weren't beneficial to me and were costly. At the laser skin care, very similar except there services were never effective and led to horrible consequences. I recently decided to revoke any further attention and find from the laser skin care center and go to where I knew my skin would be handled properly. I get facials, use Murad products (that may change) and use the topicals prescribed by Dr. Henderson. My skin is under control, but not perfect. Dr. Henderson offers Estetician services by Sonia who works through Luna's Day Spa. Sonia is well versed in brown skin as she is Indian and uses the same products to control her skin. I very much appreciate that both the MD and Estetician are ones with melanin as they know first hand what is best for my skin & have products, lasers & treatments that are specific for me. As my laser treatments at the laser center proved to be a waste of money as their machines are low tech, I have moved all of my services to Sonia and paid in full. I'm excited! So I just had my first treatment of the Vi Peel, next week I begin laser on area 1 and in two week, laser on area 2. I'm very excited for this as I'm finally getting a treatment that is specific to me, comes with good reviews & is not costly as compared to the laser center. What I like is that I can get medical grade services for a mere portion of what I paid for the watered down spa grade services I previously relieved. Score x 2!

On my first visit, my wait time in the waiting room was more than 40 minutes. There were 3 people waiting in front of me. One of the other ladies asked the young lady at the front desk if the doctor was there because we had been sitting for a while. Finally, Dr Henderson showed up about an hour after I arrived. She did apologize for being late. It was beyond her control. I appreciated that. Dr Henderson took the time to hear my concerns and she actually looked at my skin. I was happy!! Believe me, I've been to other dermatologists that didn't even look at my skin. She answered all of my questions and made sure to educate me on my skin. I will definitely refer people to her.

He also cause damage to my face he allowed the nurse to inject me with silicone I know this because for 2 years my face stayed the same look like I had an upside down lip also the new doctor told me I asked him about the nerve damage he said yes I would have nerve damage and that they did the best they could I'm also going to have the scars on my leg that he made look like somebody put cigarettes out on my legs also my knees are sunk in look like prunes also I have nerve damage to the face so I had to see a plastic surgeon for that I was told facelift. Well I told Buckner what the plastic surgery said turns out the doctor was right I saw another plastic surgeon and that plastic surgeon said let's wait and see I said I've been waiting to see for 2 years finally decided to go with the second plastic surgeon starting out the gate is going to be 5,000 for the lower part of my chin I have pictures I'm going to prove it Dr Buckner is a slick oil salesman that will sell you a goat and tell you it's a donkey I've also contacted the board of Physicians well he must have knew somebody there because they closed my case and telling me that they took it seriously. I informed them there's no way because the second set of evidence is on its way from the from the vein doctor and the plastic surgeons well they kept me on hold for 15 minutes and then said to me well you can send your evidence in I said oh but my case is closed but you want me to send evidence in okay the caseworker name was Madeline, and the person that sent out the letter name was Eunice, well she must be a part of that group that Dr that Buckner, goes to Jamaica with because when they said they took it seriously and I know they were lying I contacted the governor's office and they reopened the case and sent all my records and proof to the health department especially now that we all know it was silicone injected in my face by the nurse Nicole who Alex knew had a gray suitcase with black on it and I told him that when I talked to him on the phone he claims he don't be around her as anymore well Dr Buckner asked me to trust this woman and I did three times I said no to him and he said come on so I did. Buckner injected me twice with Botox so he said it was trying to make right of it he knew what had been done to me I also have nerve damage in my face oh and let's talk about a month ago and I have proof for that clindamycin cream cuz I was taking the pills for my face I woke up in the middle of the night to leakage happening in my face it was whatever that nurse of his former nurse put in my face here are the pictures to prove it and my medical doctor saw my face and prescribe clindamycin cream. oh let's talk about the sunken leg on the left leg the medical doctor saw both of them when they look nice after he had did some work and then when he wanted to do vein work he sunk my left leg I also had to be prescribed clindamycin cream for the whatever it was that leaked out of my face my doctor saw it she's a witness and two plastic surgeon are witnesses now in the case is with the health department I hope they shut you down sir, you did not try to reach out to me nor apologize you think I'm going to go away but I got news sir I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to tell everybody exactly what you did and I'm going to go on every social platform that I can find and put all your stuff up that you did to me. And the back of my legs look like I have lymphedema and he knows my back of my legs never look like that before. He tried everything talking about lose weight do it look like this that's the leg of a obese person this man is a real shyster. Slick oil salesman him and his wife Carrie Buckner, It's All About the Money with these people folks and don't say you have not been warned and I find it awfully funny that my review and two others that he did wrong reviews disappeared but I'll be checking every day. And I'll be putting them right back up not the same man I knew for 13 years we never had an argument or disrespect towards one another now he wants to go and call women emotional. crazy. or oh let's try this one on for size maybe family history famous for that one. And when he knew medicine messed my right foot up because I show my feet veins popping out this son of a biscuit had a nerve to say old age and he's older than me. We women even the men got a kick out of that one the new doctors that's that's trying to fix me up. I returned to her because back then she gave me good vibes, tried to help with my situation, and even completed a document to ensure my insurance covered it. It was medically necessary. Today I came in for a mole consultation. I've had this mole my whole life, or for as long as I can remember, but it has slowly grown. It's been itching, and I'm now able to squeeze it between my fingers. Long story short, I was concerned about the cancer implications. It doesn't take long to notice that the business is 'money first, everything else later'. I provided my credit card and paid the $200 upfront cost, but had to once again provide this information when I arrived. I understood it was a cosmetic procedure, so it would likely not be covered by insurance, but was more concerned about the possible cancer part. Once you know this, and are okay with that, I suppose it is what it is. Once Dr. Rodney arrived for the consultation, she provided a few options: freeze it or surgically remove it to ensure the 'root' was removed as well. Of course, the surgical option would cost more. If she froze it there was the possibility I'd have to return due to its thickness. I opted for the surgery. The technician whipped out her payment system so I could pay right there on the spot. Perhaps others have run out the door before making payment? I don't know. I suppose anything is possible. We moved to another room, and Dr. Rodney proceeded to remove the mole. She numbed the area so I felt no pain. It was rather quick. I'll return in 10-days to have the stitches removed. I'll update that part after. Overall, it was quick & painless. Well, the only pain was to my wallet, which I would have minded less if they went about it another way. IMO, I prefer the Dr. Rodney of old.

The lobby stayed calm, everyone was taken care of, and patients were seen in and out with no issues. Dr. Rodney is incredible....truly the best of the best and so knowledgeable on my treatments. She made me feel like I was her only patient. Kayla, her medical assistant, was just as impressive! professional, efficient, and absolutely wonderful. Such a great experience from start to finish.
