While I was not certain how much damage our roof had, I was certain that I did not want to deal with anyone that is that aggressive about getting my business. Then Nathaniel with Guardian knocked on our door. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He was very pleasant to talk to (unlike every single contractor that knocked on our door beforehand). At first I turned him away, but I mentioned to my wife how kind he was. It only took maybe 1 minute of a conversation with my wife before I went back outside to catch him before he left. Overall, Nathaniel was wonderful to work with. He explained every step of the process, including how to start the claim process with our insurance company. He was very patient and thoroughly answered all of my many, many questions! In the end, we ended up getting a new roof and gutters, entirely covered by insurance. We also opted to have Guardian install all new siding, which was only partially covered by insurance, but we were able to get a very good product for a very good deal. Throughout the process, I interacted with multiple people at Guardian and every single one of them was a true pleasure to work with. Overall, I highly recommend Guarding for all of your roofing, siding, and gutter needs!

There was damage and Tyler Roach of Guardian was instrumental in getting my insurance company to pay for the replacement. Tyler helped me submit the claim and continually kept me informed of progress with my claim. Where do I even begin? I had called ServiceMaster the end of December 2025 because I had a leak in…read moremy upstairs bedroom down into my dining room caused by an old roof. The new roof was installed back in November 2025 by a different company, all went well. I had ServiceMaster come in the beginning of January 2026 to do the demolition of the bedroom and dining room walls and hardwood floors that were ruined by the leak. The walls are torn down to the brick on the outside of my hoe, and the hardwood floors are ripped up with nails sticking out everywhere. It is freezing in my home, as the walls are stripped down to the outside brick. They came in with the understanding that they were doing all the repair work, and restoration. They explained everything to me that they would do the demolition, take pictures of the demolished areas, and submit it to my insurance company, get the money needed, and begin all the repair and restorations. they made it all sound very easy. I have called them since the beginning of January after the demolition was completed. I have been calling for 2 months now, weekly to get updates. Every single time I call I get the same story "Yes, we have to get the photos together, submit them to your insurance company with the estimate, and get the approvals and funds. We have just been so busy with all the other flooding, pipes bursting, and winter related problems, we are working on it, but have not had the time because we are so busy". I know they are busy, I know they have had emergencies, but it is absolutely unreasonable and not acceptable to think a customer will wait 2 months for help. I have heard this since the beginning of January, same excuse. I have had to call weekly and get an update because NOBODY has contacted me at all. NOBODY has reached out, followed up, called me to let me know what's happening. NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. Each time I have called since January, I am getting the same answer. The fact is, that I am also a customer. I know they are busy. But, I am also a customer. A customer that has been waiting for 2 months for ANYBODY to contact me, and move this forward, get started, do something, anything. My home remains without walls, the hardwood floors stripped apart with nails sticking up, the ceiling in the dining room is 1/2 gone as well. I have yet to hear a response from them. When I called about 10 days ago, I got the same answer "we are so busy, etc, etc". Yeah, busy. But again, I am also a customer. A customer that has been waiting for 2 months now. As a nurse, I cannot imagine making a patient of mine wait 2 months for help. This is completely unacceptable. I leave a customer for 2 months with the walls stripped out down to the brick outside, the hardwood floors gone, nails sticking up causing a possible injury, and most of all....no answers when I call is terrible. When I called a few weeks ago, a woman answered the phone and said to me "oh we are busy, maybe you should fid a different company". That is no way to conduct business, and is something that should never be said to a customer, who already had an agreement that work was to be completed. So, needless to say....today I am going with another company. If I could give ServiceMaster 0 stars I would. Their communication, follow through, and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Do not believe them when they say they will help. Do not trust them when they say they will complete a project. They apparently just wanted the money for the demolition and never had the expectation to come back to help me. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time with the ServiceMaster Feasterville PA location.

We hired Demarco Restortation after a house fire in April of 2022. Everything sounded great…read morehowever when the work did start we found out he didnt have all his permits together which slowed down the process of the house rebuild. We were out of our home for almost 2 years after he told us when we hired him he needed 9 months. He subcontracts out for each job in the house. I have a list of thing that did not get done and a list of things they were done very sloppy. From smoked damaged doors frames, terrible paint job that was not completed, we still have spackle marks that never got sanded and painted over, we have a lot of areas where the paint is unfinished. Leaks from the one of the upstairs bathrooms that left water stairs on the ceiling downstairs. Closet doors don't stay shut, bedroom door still can just be pushed open even when locked, Bathroom door has a big gap when closed so you can still see in, stairs never got a clear poxy coat over the stain so the stain in worn. We were suppose to have the patio that needed to be dug up replaced but smaller to give us more yard room, instead nothing was done leaving the yard to be a nightmare of just dirt a uneven ground. Gaps in the exterior doors where we can see sunlight coming into the house also bringing in mice so we had to have an exterminator. His electrician wouldnt run the main electrical line to the house so we needed to figure that out. Beeping in 2 of the smoke detectors kept going off during the rebuild process so instead of replacing these during the build they removed them and never replaced them. Exterior doors never painted one exterior doors never had its hardware put on. We were suppose to get a tile backsplash in the kitchen, that was never installed. The floor his guys put down is coming up all over the house because it wasnt installed properly. We were suppose to have a hallway closet upstairs, the inside of the closet still has unfinished drywall, no shelves or door so its just an empty hole in the wall right now. One of the front windows does not open and shut properly. The communication was terrible the entire time and he seemed to be very short and have an attitude with us. He now just sued us for the $13,000 that wasnt paid. We dropped the ball with filing an appeal because we have 4 kids and both have full time job. We are both very busy and missed the deadline. I would never recommend him to anybody.

Andrew was amazing in coming and saving the day to clean up the mess before a wedding was to come that weekend. The most recent occurrence was dealing with a lot of mold that had built up in my sisters apartment due to a leaky window and rotted sill. Andrew arrived at 6 AM and set up a protected barrier around the affected area and attached a sanitation fan. Then he used a massive commercial UV fan to kill any other spores in the air in her apartment. These units ran for two straight days while my sister stayed with me. Andrew also cleaned the carpets and used a HEPA filter vacuum to do the final cleaning . When Lisa returned to her apartment yesterday, for the first time in many years she was not wheezy, and her sinuses felt clear. This is a miracle and one that she welcomed after many years of suffering due to the mold side effects. Thank you Andrew for your professionalism and prompt response in helping us out. Don't go anywhere else... Andrew is the real deal so just hire him to get it right!
