Im not sure what they did. But it feels wrong. One thing I…read moreknow, that some people can relate to, is in a tough economy holding off on repairs related to high deductibles,& competing future costs, happens. But maybe the high paid folks at a car dealership dont get that. Nevertheless It should not matter to the dealership how the issues occurred (although very forthcoming about that) they shouldn't cause more problems just for bringing the car to the place that's supposed to know Mazdas the best. AI's take: Most likely causes based on timing: Brake hardware issue after pad replacement (fairly plausible) Loose anti-rattle clip, dust shield bent, pad not seated right, hardware rubbing. Relative danger: low-moderate if brakes still work normally, but should be checked soon. Typical repair: $0-$250 if dealer owns the mistake; Exhaust rattle from bent pipe or loose hanger Especially since it happens only over bumps. Relative danger: low if no fumes/no scraping. Typical repair: $50-$250 for hanger/adjustment, maybe $150-$400 if section needs repair. Actual wheel bearing Usually a humming/roaring that changes with speed and turning. Timing after brakes makes me slightly skeptical, but still possible.

I have lost complete faith in this location second time this tried to make this work after several visits. Look elsewhere.

As a single female car owner and one who isn't afraid to put miles on a vehicle, Paul Moak Subaru…read moreSHATTERED any trust or praise previously or given. A brand new vehicle purchased in the spring of this year required a whole new set of tires with less than 20K on them. One tire had a run in with a nail. I expected to replace two tires just because my dad taught me that. The rep sent the recommendation for a full set of tires stating because of the AWD they couldn't replace just one and the tread was 5/32nd and 6/32nd. All maintenance has been performed at Paul Moak and this has never come up that I recall. Not only this but a quote of $1089. Something that angered me most was the condescending tone the rep used stating I was being cheap when I told him I would get tires elsewhere. He stated that not everywhere knew how to service and would I rather pay a thousand now for tires or five thousand for a transmission later on. I also contacted the sales rep to inquire why I would need a new set of tires. His response was I shouldn't and to find out if there was something wrong with the car that was causing the wear. I love the Subaru brand but not this dealership. Now I'm wondering if anything was done previously.‍

Dropped off our car and went back 3 hours later and they hadn't even touched it. It was sitting in the same spot it was when we left it. We were told it had been "a crazy day and they hadn't gotten to it." Then he told me they could do it right now or we could come back and he wasn't going to charge us. I told him they weren't going to charge us anyway because we have all maintenance covered by warranty (2021 Touring). Then he couldn't even find out fob so we could leave. Disastrous, poorly run, and extremely unprofessional. Go anywhere else but Paul Moak!!
