i have a 2023 altima with 13k miles and it went into limp mode. we took it to gray daniels nissan south and they said the battery need charging it was cranking and driving with no problem so they charged the battery and charged me $271 and said the battery was good. if a car is cranking and running the battery is good then something else should be wrong but they insisted nothing wrong and charged me.. will never go back to gray daniels nissan south read more

Nightmare service. 1 star is too many. Towed my Nissan Xterra in for diagnostic and repair on Sep 28. After calling for a status update two days later, receptionist Brianne explained that her error of losing my number was the reason no work had begun. She then referred me to service advisor Zach. After I called service advisor Zach, he said it would be 2-3 days before a technician could get to my vehicle. Those few days have turned into two weeks. It's Oct 14 as I write this review. Not one person has begun a diagnostic or repair of my vehicle, and not one person from Gray-Daniels Nissan Brandon has returned even one of my calls. As of right now, I've scheduled a tower to retrieve my vehicle from this location. Nightmare service. read more

This review is for the service department only. Brought our Nissan truck here a couple of times for oil changes. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Always felt like we were in good hands. Never really had that much of a chance to check out the showroom, waiting area, etc. because both times they had our truck serviced within 15-20 minutes. We often (and still do) have our vehicles serviced at the dealership and it's rare they have us in and out so quickly. I was highly impressed with the quick service. read more

Buyers beware! Traded in my vehicle on a new vehicle at the beginning of this week, then was called today stating I needed to come back in to resign paperwork because the deal wasn't correct. They tried to increases my payment $100/month and increase my interest rate a whole percent. I told them they can keep their ******* car, dropped it back off and picked my trade up. I'm pretty sure that is illegal, paperwork you sign when you buy a car is legally binding. I will be calling the better business bureau about this. This dealership is full of a bunch of THIEVES! I made an appointment online to have some repairs done to my car and chose to get a rental since I had errands to run while they had the car. Seems fairly simple. So, when I got there, I was told that the only person that handles rentals doesn't get in until 8 am. Even though they have it that you can have a rental before 8 am. If the service department owns at 7 am, all of the personnel should be there when it opens. It's not rocket science. read more

Is "Customer Service" dead? I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation the day prior. My scheduled appointment was for 8:30am and I was precisely on time. As I arrived, I pulled into the drop off area and checked in with a service advisor. After he gathered my information, my vehicle was moved to the back of a line of cars already waiting. I questioned him as to why my truck was tenth in line for service if I had made an appointment? He stammered and stumbled trying to explain that some others had appointments, others did not and that they would sort through it all and get to me as soon as possible. It's a big game of "Tetris" he said. #1: Do not encourage or accept appointments for service if it doesn't really make a difference. My time is valuable (as is everyones). I would rather be told "we are super busy and understaffed, so get there before we open and secure your spot in line". My vehicle was not touched for at least two hours after I arrived. #2: If customers are forced to sit in a waiting area for hours to get simple, routine service at least have the courtesy to provide coffee. I had to ask the service advisor to help me make coffee. I'm not in the car business, but I think this is pretty much a basic standard for waiting customers. This is my first visit here and it will be my last. Great customer service is important to me above all else. I am fiercely loyal to businesses that give great service. I am the type that will give anyone a chance, but bad service is bad service. My experience or review will likely not change anything, but I do find it very therapeutic and hopefully helpful to someone else. read more

Buyer beware of this dealership!!! Yeah, they may be nice if you want to buy a new car, but wait until you need support. Our experience buying parts was unequaled in rudeness, and ignorance. When I called to try to speak to the manager, the operator actually screamed at me after I asked her if she was refusing to connect me to the manager. My wife actually talked face to face with the General Manager about the bad experience just trying to buy parts. He just smiled and shook his head. Needless to say, I had no choice but to file a case with Nissan USA Consumer Affairs. They have assigned an investigator to the case. I highly doubt anything will happen to Gray-Daniels Nissan Brandon, but at least I am trying. Believe, this is the worst dealership I have had dealings with in my life. Don't do it! 2019 Nissan Titan Pro4x. I had 2 thin metal brackets on both sides of my front axle that sit several inches above the calipers bend mysteriously. No other damage, no signs of tampering. This caused my brake lines to rub on the tire and caused a catastrophic brake failure in rush hour traffic. I called 3 days after towing it there to check on it and was told by somebody calling themselves the service manager that the truck wasn't there and had never arrived at the shop. I had to have the tow truck driver call them and tell them that he left the truck outside the repair shop entry door. Big red Titan in the doorway and they couldn't find it. When I called back I was told it would be several days before they could look at the truck because of COVID. What? So I called the manager's office and got a call back from the service manager Jeff who later called me back to say the brackets were bent. He even said, "Those brackets bend pretty easy" and admitted they were a poor design. When I asked about warranty coverage he said he couldn't file it because he had no way of knowing how they got bent. He suggested I call Nissan and start a warranty request which Nissan then told me it has to come from the shop. After a week my truck was ready only to find out they did unauthorized work on it, did work I said I didn't want, added parts that I wasn't told about, billed me $262 to find the problem and $20 to create a repair ticket. It went from 2 brake lines at $68 each and labor to $800 and a bunch of stuff they decided on their own to do. Needless to say i referred it to the Attorney General's office, and, with the help of a friend in lending sent letters to all the banks, credit unions, and loan underwriters in the state warning them of possible repos due to the fact Nissan won't stand behind their vehicles and Gray Daniels uses practices are highly questionable. Might be the best $800 I have ever spent by the time I am done contacting agencies and consumer protection groups. If only I knew who to contact about a possible nationwide recall need for faulty parts on Nissan and Inifiniti vehicles built on the same platform. read more

Found a 2015 Nissan versa thru a car buying service with my bank. Had over 100k miles on it but I thought it would still be good knowing it was a Nissan. A week after getting the car, I had to go back to the dealership to get them to send the paperwork to the dealership so I could start paying for it. Another week goes by and the transmission goes out, that's 3200 and the body control module is out, too and that's 600. Got the car for 7400. Ouch. They tried to pawn off a different piece of crap when I went back up there. I drove it and it had two service lights on it. What's more, I get a letter from my bank saying they haven't received a title or security interest filing. Tried to call the dealership and the operator was so rude. I wish I had never bought from this place. Lesson learned. read more

Was kept waiting over two hours just for them to have the new car they sold me, in the condition it should have been from the very beginning. This upset my wife so through the internet she contacted Gray Daniels Brandon and we were connected with Kay. She went the extra 3 miles for me as I work and so does my wife we could not take off to work a deal on a car so she did it through email. When it was all done we went to the lot the deal was not quite right but I will have to say that was my fault Kay did it the way I told her. Talked to Kay and another manager and boy did they do me right. I had a Nissan Altima that I brought here for service on two different occasions. Once to have a window replaced which took two weeks (which is obviously way too long) and another time with a more costly and serious repair. The second repair was only took three weeks to complete and still did not fix the problem and cost me about $2200. When I tried to talk about the crazy long time it was taking to the service manager Eddie Gray, all I got was that Nissan was bad at shipping them parts oh and a free oil change certificate. We took our Murano in on a Monday because the brakes were getting kind of spongey feeling. Nothing major but because my wife drives it U wanted to make sure she wouldn't have any problems. We have an extended warranty to cover things that need fixing so I thought it best to get it checked out at a Nissan shop. Big mistake. It has been two weeks and we still don't have it back. Everybody we talk to from Krystal the "service guide" to Willie the mechanic to Eddie Gray the service manager gives us the shady shuffle about what is wrong. The brake booster you say? Willie says he never worked on the booster but Krystal does and Eddie says "Let me put you on hold". Bleed the brakes you say? Willie says that won't help, Krystal says it was done, and Eddie says "Let me put you on hold". A computer tech is going to run diagnostics? Willie says nobody is scheduled to do that, Krystal says some guy is coming in to do it, Eddie says "Let me put you on hold". New master cylinder you say? Willie says it didn't work, Krystal says that isn't listed of things done, Eddie says "Let me put you on hold". What needs to happen next? Willie says he doesn't know because the car "won't cooperate with us but I'm gonna fiddle with it some more", Krystal ???? can't be found, Eddie..........*cricket*cricket*. Just do yourself a favor and go to Cannon Nissan or some place that acts like they want Nissan customer business. I can faithfully say that when we get our vehicle back, maybe this year or by mid spring next year, we will never go back to them. I have never talked to people less concerned (at least try to fake it) about their customers. In my 50 years of life, I have never tried to work with a group who absolutely could not care any less about the people who want to spend money with them. Oil change is easy breezy but something more difficult is a total waste of time. read more
