A quiet corner for a quick bite and coffee
Jacquie N.

A nice find while waiting for the TGV. Had a latte and sandwich while getting reoriented after landing.

Quiche with ham
Mary N.

Grabbed a quick bite before a flight. Easy ordering at a kiosk and the food came out quickly. Had the quiche with ham. It was hot, crispy and flaky. Solid food for a quick bite at the airport.

Nice selection of grab and go food. Large seating area will accommodate cart of luggage even. Good place to spend some time while you wait for your train. Outlets for charging devices inside. We tried salad and a sandwich cost for delicious coffee was divine... Prices were reasonable considering location

The latté sucked le couilles! Should have gone to the barista nearby.

I went in reading a review of how their sandwiches represent the French baguette sandwich-dom very admirably. Hence, I had made up my mind to enjoy the meal deal of coffee-sandwich-n-pastry. Unfortunately, fate had other plans for my palate. They weren't making sandwiches at the moment (or they were out of it), so I decided to switch to a hastily conjured 'plan b' of latte and a pastry. Much to my chagrin, their lattes were made by 'press-a-button baristas'. The rhubarbe tartelette was a good choice and hit the spot. It was served cold and probably would have tasted way better warm and flaky, but was still pretty good. The latte however can go practice it's suction capabilities on a pair of spheres for all I care; I trashed it after three sips (I had decided after the second sip, but took another one in a vain attempt to "get my money's worth"). (Nota bene: I moved over to Costas coffee to appease my latte palate.)

Emmental and Mimolette Bread, Apple Frangipane Tart, Chocolate and Pistachio Macarons
Michael U.

Items Selected: Emmental and Mimolette Bread Apple Frangipane Tart Chocolate and Pistachio Macarons Described by a friend as "sort of like a French Panera, but way better...and better than most 'Artisinal' places in the US as well," I'd noticed branches of Paul Boulangerie and Patisserie during previous trips to Paris as well as London, and with a two-hour layover at CDG as part of an 18 hour flight the opportunity finally presented to take a taste - the previous 3/4 day of vegetables no longer holding my hunger with another three hours before lunch in Lyon. Founded in 1889, and since incorporated under the Groupe Holder banner along with nearby Laduree, Paul is presented as a pair of sunken enclaves within the 2E terminal and opting for the smaller location due to the shorter line it was after a few minutes of indecision that choices were made - a mere 12€ exchanged for four selections ranging from merely decent to surprisingly quite great. Generally preferring sweet to savory, and tantalized by no less than two-dozen choices of the former, it was with a simple tart of apples and almond paste that breakfast began and with an all butter crust that remained flaky despite the substantial filling it was immediately obvious that few shortcuts are taken in Paul's preparation despite the 400+ stores worldwide, the duo of jumbo-zied macarons perhaps a bit gummy when compared to smaller boutiques but certainly on par with those served at Bouchon back stateside, and cheaper even when accounting for currency exchange. Transitioning next to savory, an option that simply couldn't be overlooked as warm loaves had just arrived as I was waiting in line, suffice it to say that at 3.40€ the 12oz Pain Flamand Emmental Mimolette was the undoubted star of the show, and although one cannot be certain as to whether this is the same unpasteurized Mimolette essentially banned from United States import I'm confident in saying the flavor is every bit as nutty and sweet as expected, while the mild Swiss adds just the right bit of brine - a bread that would have shined within Michelin Starred environs, let alone a 'quick casual' concept in the middle of a major transportation hub.

This place is beautifully decorated and has tons of options for yummy indulgences. In the M terminal you will find many attractive places and shops that meet your eye however, this one really stood out to me. The food and drinks, I decided to treat myself to breakfast and chose the quiche Lorraine. It was very tasty and if I go back to this place I really want to give one of the sweet pastries a try. The coffee offered was OK but I would probably choose another option to compliment my pastry better. Customer service:this is what brought my rating down a notch. One of the servers was very friendly but the others there were extremely rude and one proceeded to tell me to walk out so others could come in (he had no idea I ordered food and didn't ask) once I explained I ordered he let me stay in but I felt very pushed and I wasn't the only one being rushed and treated like this. If I hadn't paid I would have left but I am glad I stuck around to try the delicious quiche. They have a seating area outside of the ordering and serving area to sit and enjoy your meal. I really loved the decor and pretty chandeliers.

I ended up finding a little box of macaroons for my little boy and a piece of the vanilla Falon and a plain croissant with a water came to €17 but I'm noticed that the deserts keep revolving between the menu this isn't the customer that I was expecting I feel like every Paul that I visit is different and only get the desserts I love this place I wish they would open one in Las Vegas or New York City so I could have more access to it

Just ok! 3 stars for me. Friendly service and ok priced for what you are paying for (5.25 euro for ham & cheese), but compared to the real deal on the lovely streets of Paris it can't compare. However if you're at CDG airport and flying Air France and want a simple sandwich, not a bad option at all.

There weren't many choices at 6 in the morning, so I just went with this knowing that my previous experience wasn't that great. This was the closest thing to my gate. The service wasn't great, but I don't blame them since it's so early in the morning and they had a huge line. I had a cafe latte and a pain au chocolat. The cafe latte was horrible and probably the worst I had. The espresso tasted burnt and watery. I usually don't usually put sugar in my coffee and even after I put it in this, it still tasted horrible. The pain au chocolat is where the stars go to. It was flaky, crispy, and they had an large size one. This was the best way to say goodbye to Paris with one last pain au chocolat.

Love Paul. Quick, easy, always ready. Macarons are giant and so good. My favorite is the pistachio.

Ladurée is a sweet respite in your busy travel plans. I first discovered Ladurée when I worked in…read morehigh tech and traveled to Asian and Europe once a quarter. Whenever I am in the Paris airport, it is an obligatory stop. This macaroon shop is located conveniently inside the airport with the quintessential elegant Parisian packaging. Even in Charles de Gaulle extremely busy terminal, it is a nice travel break. To be transparent, macaroons are not my first dessert choice. Laduréevis in a macaroon league of its own...soft blue green base colors, delicate gold font accents, rows of perfectly arranged macarons. Each one had that signature texture ...a delicate shell with a soft, creamy center. The history... Ladurée was founded in 1862 by Louis-Ernest Ladurée and evolved into one of the first Parisian tea salons. The now-famous Ladurée macaron didn't appear until decades later, when Pierre Desfontaines, a descendant of the founder, created the modern version... two delicate shells filled with ganache. From that point forward, Ladurée became synonymous with elegance, indulgence, and being distinctly Parisian. Today, it sells thousands of macarons daily and has locations worldwide. The ladies at the macaroon shop have a system of service. One person takes your order, another selects your macaroons and the third person packages the macaroons. It is important to note that, while Ladurée is the most delicious macaroon I have ever tasted, they are expensive. So, it will be a splurge.
