Make sure you pay close attention to your records via MyChart. Visit Summaries, Clinical Notes, Test Results, all of it. Advocate for yourself if/when you know that something is wrong. The physicians in this practice made me feel like I was going crazy. Labeled me as a seeker. That they had no idea why I was experiencing and feeling everything that I was. Just shoot me up with steroids and send me on my way. Then I end up with a torn labrum in my hip that required surgery. Come to find out. there's been something there all along that because it wasn't addressed, ended up causing me further pain and suffering. Recently. having bad problems with my back and hips. Again, they say nothing is wrong. And again, I find out that there is something indeed wrong! When I go back to question them. they start saying one thing until they found out that it was a doctor within their own practice that made the "mistake" and all of a sudden, they start to back pedal, and all of the CYA moves they all love to do! When I contacted to Office Manager to try to get some answers. the only answer I got was to be discharged from the practice. Beware everyone! You never know what could actually be happening with your own bodies when the doctors in charge will flat out lie to you! Suggest that you, the patient, lie. I'm honestly shocked there aren't more reviews like mine......

Prior to surgery, the staff called and had me complete paperwork on their website, as well as going…read moreover anticipated costs. They were able to provide what insurance covered and what I was responsible for. Upon arrival, the waiting room was about half filled but those were people waiting on their loved ones. After about ten minutes, I pre-registered and was called to the back within five minutes of completing the registration. The nurse, Sunny, was very friendly that prepped for the surgery. She was helpful in answering questions and ensuring that I was comfortable. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Handel, was nice and readily available to answer my questions. The OR nurse and nurse anesthetist were cheerful and nice. I've forgotten their names. I have a few complaints. The doctor arrived forty-five minutes or more after the scheduled surgery time. This seemed to be normal and none of the staff was surprised. I get it that things can happen, but to be late for surgery on a regular isn't a good thing. The doctor never disclosed this, but I found out that he has an interest in this surgery center and profits off of the money made there. I was asked to sign a form saying that I knew and understood this. This should have been disclosed well before the day of the surgery. After the surgery, the doctor never came out to tell the family how the surgery went nor did he provide a follow up appointment or any information. The recovery room nurse had the family member sign discharge papers and seemed baffled as to why the doctor had not spoken to the family nor provided a follow up appointment. This caused some confusion and the family was basically left to do what they thought would be best in care upon arrival at home. It would also have been nice for staff to show the patient how to use the crutches and walker, as far as shifting weight to the good leg rather than the bad leg for climbing steps, getting up from a seated position, etc.

Most staff were kind. In particular, Crystal, thoughtfully moved him to a quiet room for less stimulation. However, after multiple attempts to fabricate a physical ailment for a healthy man, the Anesthesiologist cancelled the scheduled surgery at 2:30pm, after he was fully prepped for surgery and had been there since 10:30am. This was cruel for the Autistic patient and mortifying for the surgeon who had booked the surgery at Boulders. Thankfully, the hand surgery took place at CJW the next day under a compassionate and knowledgeable anesthesiologist. Further training on disabilities and human rights is needed. UPDATE: Spoke with Bridget Roque, Boulders' Administrator "Per our guidelines if there is a behavioral component that we feel like the hospital is a better setting for we will cancel the procedure. We will review and cancel because we're not connected to a hospital and want him and our providers to be safe. We don't have that high acuity level of special-needs and we don't have that high-level training here. I apologize, and I wish it were communicated sooner and without looking for other excuses, but it's just the reality of what we can provide and how much training we can expect of our providers." They do not wish to pursue further training on disabilities.

Whenever I have an appointment, I don't wait more than 10 minutes to be called in. The people who do the bloodwork here are incredible. No fishing around for veins, they know exactly what they're doing. I've never had an issue until my last visit where they forgot to test for one panel I had asked for. While I was annoyed about this (they blamed it on being short staffed), I decided it could wait for another 6 months before my next panel. I would recommend this office!

Estimated waiting time is 12 minutes." After 5 minutes, my wait time was reduced to 10 minutes. And on it went for 15 minutes. So I hung up and tried the website. To get an appointment, I was directed to call the number I just dialed, or schedule something for MARCH 2024. So I re-dialed again at 4:08 p.m. and an automated service told me the switchboards were closed until tomorrow. I have no experience with the doctors, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the practice. But if you are looking for a practice that has easy accessibily - DO NOT choose this one.
