I have been using them for a few years for auto, renters, and life insurance and the prices are awesome! Camille always gets back to me in a timely manner, and when my husband recently bought a car, she called me to go over the change in coverage to let me know what I actually needed vs what the dealership said we needed. One star off for wait times, no matter what time my appointment is I can always guarantee a minimum of a 15 minutes wait.....it is what it is Joe handles personal and corporate taxes. Here are the details: I sent numerous emails to Andrew asking to cancel my renters policy. Since he never responded, I ended up having to call no less than 5 times trying to get the policy cancelled. At first, my calls were screened by his assistant. Then when I lost patience, his assistant assured me the policy would be cancelled. After a month of this, I realized they had no intention of cancelling the policy. I called one last time to indicate I would pursue all options available to me to fix this situation. Only then was I connected to Andrew who assured me the policy would be cancelled. Fast forward another month, the policy was never cancelled. Unfortunately, State Farm makes it impossible to cancel renters insurance unless it goes through your assigned local agent. State Farm will not cancel your renters policy if you call their 800 number under any circumstance. In the end, I had to switch agents just to get my rental policy cancelled. Andrew refused to follow through on this simple task. Avoid this loser at all costs.

After I changed my insurance away from Geico, I was switched to a $1250, and even better, not notified about it. After speaking with Lauren Leo personally, there was still no way for them to change my policy back, or refund me the difference in price of my policy for the period of time that I was uninformed of the change. I was offered an apology, and that's it. They seem like nice enough people, so it may be that they are just very disorganized and unable to properly support their customers. I would be very scared to have something critical happen in my car or to my house and rely on them Details below: I recently purchased my first home, and searched around for a combination of homeowners and car insurance. After an extensive search, State Farm in Holmdel quoted me the lowest price, of about $950 for two cars for six months. I changed my policy away from Geico (who I had for many years) as a result, as price was my primary determination. I prepaid my homeowners and car insurance for 6 months. A month later, I received a letter in the mail from State Farm, saying that due to a suspension due to unpaid parking tickets that they missed, my policy had been cancelled. I also received a check in the mail for the remaining portion of my policy balance. I called State Farm, questioning why this happened. I was told that there was a mistake, and that everything was fine, and to just return the check to their office, which I did. Two months later, I received a bill in them mail saying that I owed another 600 dollars for the next three months. After calling State Farm multiple times, and many days of them "having to look into it", I was told that my policy had been rewritten after a month, at a rate of 1250 dollars for two cars for six months ( an increase of 30% !! ). Apparently, that change had been in effect and billing against my prepaid balance for 2-3 months, without me being notified. Additionally, and more generically, there is no billing support in non-business hours, but that's minor compared to the poor support and business tactics.
