I was immediately told that they are short staffed and could not facilitate a walkthrough of the facility-- but there should be pictures online. For the amount that I am paying out of pocket to be seen here, I canceled my appointment. In addition to the poor care by staff, the parking lot is impossible to find a spot. If you do, the spots are so tight! Don't expect to be able to get out of your car pregnant, let alone with a car seat.

Everyone from the receptionist to the therapists are friendly and welcoming. Before your massage starts, the therapist will go over any pain or areas of tension to make sure they adjust their treatment to your needs. All of their therapists have great communication and this is just one of those ways they ensure you get what you need. They have several massage therapists, but most of my treatments were with Kana. She applies med-firm pressure, which I prefer, and we always had great communication during the massages. Those were some of the best massages I have ever had. She would get all those little knobby spots loosened and I would leave feeling like a new person. My last several appointments were when I was pregnant, and the massages continued to be great. Then when we went over prep she ran down the list of did you do this / that like they normally do. When I mentioned I only was able to drink 3 of the 4 liters she wasn't happy. Seemed upset immediately and changed her tone with me. I explained I have had this procedure before and it's routine. The directions state clearly , and yes their emailed directions and not the pharmacys like they tell you, states you can do 3 liters minimum Depending on this and that ... which applied in my case. Then she asked about fluids and last time I drank any. I mentioned I last had fluids just over 3 hours ago to which she became passive aggressive again like we're having a debate and she must win And stated that I shouldn't have had anything for 5 hours And that hopefully the colonoscopy goes ok. Again very passive aggressive. Look folks directions say no more prep solution within 5 hours. However clear liquids like water you can have up to 3 hours before procedure which is what I did. I'm going to be honest, she was rude to me from get go, incorrect about the stuff she for some odd reason wanted to argue about. Im only 39 , nice guy their with my wife About to go through a stressful procedure. She made me feel absolutely terrible. No idea what her issues are but as a fellow business owner and somebody who has deal with this on rare occasions handling my own staff the problem was clear. She formed some sort of bias against me maybe because I'm just a alpha heavy diesel mechanic type , maybe politics ? Hell I dunno. Just wish She was as kind to me as the nice elderly lady in the bed next to me. My Doctor was very polite and nice. The anesthesia specialist was polite and nice. The girls in the procedure room were nice. But the nurse who started my IV , Gave me my gown ect was terrible. Absolutely terrible and that is the first representative of your establishment besides reception and leaves the biggest impression. But at the same time the old lady was given the nicest of tone and care and all the time in the world which is rightfully so.

I have never had a doctor do that before, and I greatly appreciate that Dr. Lewis adds this human touch to his practice. It only takes a few minutes for us to talk through a health question and make a game plan, so neither one of us needs to take extra time out of our busy schedules for a 30-minute in-person appointment unless it's necessary. He is also extremely knowledgeable with years of experience. I know that I can trust his medical opinions and advice.

Calling the Riverbend office for a sleep consultation, I encountered the following problems:…read more1) OLS's scheduler (Tara) gave me the info that all their providers were within network of my specific health plan. 2) I called my health plan to verify. They said they needed the name of the specific doctor in order to verify he/she was within network. 3) I called OLS back. The grumpy scheduler said she could not tell me which doctor I'd be seeing, because they had five. OLS could not email me the names of their sleep doctors. She had to dictate the doctors last names over the phone and omitted their first names. The names were not easy to spell or for me to record and she seemed impatient with me. 4) I then called my insurance company who said one doctor was not in network on my plan and two other names were not verifiable as I had not been given the doctors first names. This scheduler must make these appointments and give insurance information all day long, but still hadn't the wits or desire to provide complete information (i.e. the complete doctors' names), so I had to call her back yet again. 5) Talking with their office manager was not productive. She only responded that this was my insurance company's fault! She did not address OLS' antiquated and illogical scheduling procedure, or her staff members' irritability. OLS's scheduling process required me to make six phone calls just to get an appointment! Given that OLS provided wrong information about my insurance coverage, was brusque and irritable with me on the phone when spelling the doctors' names, and that they can't email out (which might impact future communications with them), I decided to find another sleep clinic instead. Communicating with this office was not conducive to building trust in OLS as a medical provider.

AND THE WORST 'HEALTHCARE' AS WELL-though I'm hesitant to even call it that. I did not at all feel like Jan cared about my *personal* needs. She was warm and friendly enough until I asked her to order some tests that I wanted, or to think outside of her narrow thoughts. I was only asking for a comprehensive thyroid panel-we aren't talking expensive hypochondriac things. When I told her that a topical medication she prescribed was causing dryness and irritation, she dismissed my concerns and told me to keep using it. I took my son to see Dr. Copperman for a specific concern and he told my son that his issues were his own fault. His blaming alienated me, shamed my son and did NOTHING to address the concern we came in for. I have NEVER been treated this way before by anyone. His care was so terrible that I sat in the car crying from anger. I asked for a referral for my son, and was handed a list of providers and told they would send over a referral. When I called to follow-up, the referral told me they weren't accepting new patients. I called the clinic back but no one was available to help me. 3 days later they returned my multiples calls and said they'd send it through to another. That one ALSO was not accepting new patients. And then it happened a third time. Finally, I started calling around and then asked the new clinic to call for a referral and it took a week to receive it! As if that wasn't enough, the front office told me that I did not need to make a co-pay for a visit. I told them, are you sure? I usually do. They told me no, and refused to take any payment. When I was then billed for it, I called to find out why and was placed on hold, or hung up on, and never got an answer. When I went in for the next appointment, they told me at the appointment that I had to pay a $100 deposit to be seen since I was delinquent on my bills. DELINQUENT. It was a $20 co-pay. I was there for an appointment and had no other choice if I wanted my son to be seen.
