I've been a patient of Dr. Tufariello since I moved to Oregon four years ago. She has always been very nice and professional, as have the rest of the staff here. The nurses are always very friendly and the front desk staff are quick and nice. I've never had issues reaching them over the phone. I've had an ultrasound, a uterine biopsy, and most recently a bisalp and ablation under Dr. Tufariello. The biopsy was done without painkillers and was horrible but that's the state of women's healthcare in this country and my doctor had no control over it - it was the insurance company's fault. My surgery last week went great and Dr. Tufariello was very kind and thorough when answering my long list of questions. She kept me at ease and helped me feel better when I was nervous. She did not try to push me or talk me out of the procedure even though it was elective. She simply asked once to make sure I knew I couldn't have kids after and when I said I knew and was sure I didn't want any kids she moved on and helped me. In this day and age I have to appreciate that. I'm not sure why Women's Care has so many bad reviews because I have only ever had positive experiences here. The staff all care deeply about their jobs and everyone is very gentle and understanding. Even the lab techs are gentle and friendly. I will continue to be a patient here and recommend them to my friends whenever I can. read more

I definitely want to warn other women about going here. I saw Angela Lovelace to address heavy bleeding and birth control methods. She recommended an IUD and I agreed. She did not do any pre-testing, ultrasound, or imaging to check out my suspected fibroids. After insertion the IUD ended up scraping against uterus and causing extreme pain. I had to demand it be taken out immediately and asked for an ultrasound. She had so much trouble understanding the imaging (the IUD was creating a shadow that seemed suspicious) and actually asked me if I had forgotten about a previous IUD inside my body. What?! No, I have never had an IUD and I would not forget about something like that. Horrible care, dismissive of pain, and unfortunately there are not many options in Eugene for ob-gyn care. I now go to Grassroots Gynocology and the fibroid clinic at OHSU. Don't go here if you can help it! read more

I originally moved from California to Oregon just shy of two years ago and had Kaiser when I was in California which they have always been so so with care and service and in Eugene Kaiser of Oregon doesn't have a labor and delivery so I was directed to women's care for my prenatal appointments and OB/GYN and they have honestly been fantastic. I have now since left Kaiser and just went through Blue Cross and still use women's care and it's by far the best OB/GYN and facility that I have ever used. read more

Most awful place to go as a newly pregnant woman. The woman at the reception is really terrible. So much so, she started arguing with me and it wasn't even logical argument. Go somewhere else where your patient rights are honored and you're treated respectfully. Update: After dealing with the horrible Karen at the reception, I was extremely upset. So much so, I ended up miscarrying. The Dr. I saw (not at this practice obviously) informed me that the distress probably contributed to the loss. But this woman "values her job". Get rid of her ASAP because she clearly doesn't value anything. read more

I would give this place NEGATIVE 0 stars. I just talked to the receptionist for the first time, she was very rude and had a very smartass tone to her voice. I hung up feeling very frustrated. Told me that I couldn't be seen until February and showed no customer service (compassion) for me as a patient. I do not recommend this place. read more

I am truly blessed to have had Dr Cooper as my OB GYN he truly made the process easy and provided as much education as we wanted throughout the process. At delivery he made the atmosphere comfortable and a family environment, highly recommend Women's Care, Dr Cooper and the Midwife that was present during labor. I have been going to Women's Care since surgery in 1999. They have a caring and wonderful staff! They worked with me to find the proper protocol to take care of my needs. I drive down from Yakima, WA, just to get my treatments twice a year. I have excellent service from the receptionists to the doctors. I would highly recommend them. read more

Terrible experiences the past two times I had something done here, will never go back. Was treated rudely. IUD placement was completely botched and I had to pay for all the costs around finding the old one and putting in a new one. Was told very snarkily that they did everything right and it was insurance that was the problem, and they insisted on this even as they found the thing they definitely did wrong and rebilled. Insurance paid right away after I spent MONTHS going between them. I was told by someone in the billing department that this is all new to them, that they're used to dealing with babies. If you're going to be a baby delivering service then say that. Women's health is more than being baby factories! read more

Absolutely the best women's care provider. I recently had a UTI and called my primary care who could not get me in, or even just process a test. I called Women's care and they understood the importance of a quick test. I appreciate their quick service, test results in minutes, calling a prescription in and follow up that they provided. I wish I could not even give them 1 star. Oct 2019 it was discovered I had a tumor off the uterus. Was sent to Women scare to determine if it was cancer. At the same time my son was dying of cancer and it took them from April of 2018 to Sept 2018 to determine if his sore throat was cancer. So I was genuinely concerned about my possible cancer diagnosis. So Women's care started sending me places to get ultrasounds and barbaric tests. I cannot even COUNT how many I went to. I lost track. Also two times the Doctor at Womenscare attempted to complete cervix biopsy. Both times she was unable to complete the biopsy. Ultrasounds to me were even painful. It got to be 5 or 6 months later and I am still going in CIRCLES trying to find out if my tumor was cancer or not. The Doctor had convinced me by telephone to give her one more chance at a cervix biopsy. I said ok so I go into the office and am told I owe 450 dollars, for co-pays I hadn't done and even something Nikki the billing office said was a mistake previously. I just left and did not try the biopsy the third time. I felt at that point they should owe ME money for all the PAIN and suffering I'd endured. So I went to Oregon Medical Group. In ONE visit the Doctor there sent me exactly where Women's care should of done MONTH'S ago. McKenzie Willamette Hospital for surgery to do a biopsy as it should be done. Went for surgery and found out it was benign. Imagine if it HAD been malignant and Women's care had STRUNG OUT that crap for six months. Wow, cancer can grow a lot in six months. Ladies, do not stay with Women's care if you are getting that level of treatment. My son died of cancer on Feb 11, 2021. I hadn't even gotten a result from Women's care by them about my own possible cancer since my first time with them. Well, it took the ladies in the Women's care referral office about two weeks to even get me started as they were send a referral missing 4 pages so they just closed it INSTEAD OF CALLING MY DOCTOR AND GETTING THE FOUR PAGES. I should of left Women's care after that happened but no I stuck with them. Now it is 5/28/2022 and I'm bedridden due to a fall in the shower and what happens. I am sued in small claims court by a Ray Klein that Women's care sold my unpaid bill of 450 to. It is all co-pays of 30/40 dollars so that should show you HOW MANY FUCKING GOD DAMN TIMES I WENT TO WOMEN'S CARE TO TRY TO FIND OUT IF I HAD CANCER. Let's see 450 divided by 40 is 11 times I went there. What are they doing try to suck money out of my Medicare to have ALL THESE ULTRASOUNDS AND STICKING SOMETHING UP MY VAGINA because that is how many times it seemed like. Now I get to fight some bloodsucker named Ray Klein so he can take some of my social security check. The truth is now it should be my turn to sue Women's care for all my pain and suffering for over 1/2 a year WHEN IT DIDN'T NEED TO TAKE THAT LONG. Oregon Medical it took me 1 visit. I can't tell you how angry I am about this whole situation. I hope I can tell every woman in Eugene/Springfield what Women's care can be like. Don't let this happen to you. read more

I am a quadriplegic. When something is wrong symptoms manifest themselves differently since you can't feel anything. At that point it's a guessing game so you have to check for wounds, bladder infections or female problems. I ruled out a number of things and wanted to get checked out by a GYN. Since I had been to Women's Care before, I called to make an appointment. The woman who made appointments asked about my exact symptoms. I tried to explain the best I could and told her I just wanted an exam along with a pap. She would not make an appointment for me until she received records from my general practitioner. Seriously? Since when do you need records from your general practitioner to make an appointment for an exam? I guess they don't take quadriplegics. They shouldn't treat anyone that way. They get paid either way and should provide exams to anyone asking for assistance. read more

Wonderful place. They took great care of me throughout my pregnancy and beyond. They are very caring and supportive. They always had time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed in my appointment. I had Doctor Temple through 8 months of my pregnancy and then was given to doctor Higdon when she left. I really enjoyed my time with doctor Temple. Reception and communication is their lowest point. The front desk could not care less about patients, and Maria will give you attitude before you even say a single word. Awful place to go. Rude, incompetent,and lacking communication. Some of the doctors have no bedside manners and are awful. They dont care about their patients and their wants and needs. They give you the run around and take forever to get back to you when you call them. Dr. Heather York is atrocious. Her bedside manner stinks. She did not care about me after surgery. She came into my room and then said I was fine and she dismissed all my thoughts or how I was feeling. She forced me to leave the hospital after surgery even though I was having breathing issues after surgery( my sp02 level was at 73). She called my insurance company and told them that I did not need an advocate or need assistance after surgery to take a bath because the surgery went great even though I had a high bath tub and a flight of stairs and had two surgeries all on the same day and could barely move or breathe. She is an arrogant egotistical doctor. Will not recommend going there if you want great care. read more
