If I could give zero stars, I would. This company did work for my neighbor last week, and their crew twice blocked my driveway -- completely preventing me from leaving -- without any attempt to communicate. No knock on the door, no heads-up, nothing. When they returned a few days later to finish the job, the same thing happened again. Two different visits, same lack of courtesy. A simple "hey, we're going to be working here -- could you move your car?" would have solved everything, but apparently that level of professionalism was too much to ask. When I had a large tree removed from my property, I made sure to notify my neighbors ahead of time and even offered food and help since it affected them. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect the same basic respect and awareness I show others. It's incredibly disappointing to see a company operate with so little consideration for the people living nearby. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them to anyone who values professionalism or common courtesy. read more

They must stand up for the services they give a customer. They just ignored our phone calls after the first one. We paid $270 for a cord of wood. We received 3/4 of a cord. The wood was junk. The pieces were very small, very light and full of holes. We will be spreading the word to all of our friends to go somewhere else. This review would be better if they'd stand up and fix their mistakes. It wouldn't break their bank to send 1/4 cord of nice heavy wood over to make a customer happy. read more

Do not use @ Pauls Lawn and Landscaping in Levittown. We had a firewood delivery and it was the crappiest wood ever. Dry rotted and wet. Definetly was not clean firewood. I had two 13 gallon bags of crap I had to pick up off my driveway. Made phones and emailed pics of the wood and was told "we'll at least you can use it for starters". That is not way to run a business. No return calls to remedy the problem. read more

We were very happy with our project from Paul's until we needed an adjustment in our stonework and they would not complete the job. Paul actually came out the end of last summer and we were told they would complete the project this summer but they return no phone calls or emails. Basically just ghosted us since they have the full payment from us. We have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and have not heard back yet. Please be aware they are excellent until you request them to come back and complete the work the correct way! read more

The front office management and scheduling are a nightmare. Extremely unprofessional, and unpleasant to deal with. Would not recommend. We were also upcharged in the past and never told. When confronting the business about charges we again dealt with unprofessional behavior. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I am very happy with the service. There were three guys here today and my lawn was in deperate need! They cup twice and even blew the grass off my neighbors fence! I first hired Paul's to do grass cutting. (Major mistake) had a few issues with not cutting properly to leaving clippings on the sidewalk not to mention the mess they made of my car. (pics below). I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got an estimate for grading and installing a French drain system. $1300 plus. Which I thought was reasonable. I gave them a deposit of $700. Had have them come out to do the grading because of a party but had to hold off on the drain end. As it turned out the flooding was caused by my ac condensation drain. I rerouted it and informed Paul's that I no longer needed the drain put in. I was told I would get an email with the adjusted cost for the grading that was done. That cost they gave me was $747.00. So apparently the cost of a 75 French drain system with two catch basins, one with a down pipe tie in. A pop up at the end of it, the ditch to be dug, back fill and seed would have been a grand total of $553.00. Can you get any shadier? read more

Needed an estimate for my front lawn. To his credit, the Owner (Paul) arrived on time for our first meeting. However, He said that he would create some designs and forward me an estimate via email- but unfortunately, I never heard from him again. My lawn is pretty basic right now. and I was hoping to give it a full makeover for some curb appeal. I had a open budget, but because summer is almost over, and because I never heard from him again, I will just wait until next year, and contact someone who is serious about their business. read more

I called this place to get an estimate on getting my entire property done with scrubs and flowers. I The owner came out who by the way had zero personality. He asked where I wanted plants as I told him I don't know have any knowledge on what I wanted.. he looked at the area literally 1 minute and left stating I'll let you know... it's been weeks and I never heard anything back. This is totally their lost. Now as for his response for the comment.. My children are grown lol!! So we can see we're dealing with a liar! Where do I begin..... 1. Unprofessional work crew - in other words, I would never allow them to come to my home if I was here alone ever again. Looked a mess, acted as if they knew me for years, very casual - super "friendly" - I felt extremely uncomfortable 2. Did a terrible job with my grass! Didn't clean up the grass they cut, left a bunch on the fence, until I asked to redo and get it down shorter and clean up everything - which btw I was charged for...hmmm 3. What seemed like the "main guy", constantly spoke poorly of one of the workers - so horrible - if you don't appreciate your worker, then why do you have them on your crew AND proceed to tell your first time customer about how crappy they are!!!?? BEYOND ME 4. Broke my fence! So when they were taking their machine out the second time, they broke off a piece of my fence on the bottom - said they will come back asap to put it back on and then wait for a new piece of fence to be ordered - NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM SINCE! I can't let my dog out in the back yard because of this, because I'm afraid she'll slip right through. - to add to this - I happened to "come out" of the house to check on them because I hadn't heard noise for a little bit and found them trying to figure out how to fix it - MY QUESTION IS - why did no one tell me about this immediately!? I understand problems happen, but to not be upfront about it.... Basically, shady all around 4. I gave them a week - called today, number is busy/out of service. 5. They also were not the cheapest service out there. I would NEVER use this company again - AND - I don't recommend them to anyone. NO call back from owner, and receptionist was yelling at us for their crap job??? Really, and instead of making it right, they take payment and tell us they are canceling their service??? I called as a new customer to see if they are available The next day for a lawn mowing. I was told that where I live in my section they don't come out until Thursday which I sort of understand. I then inquired about prices for first-time customers and possibly schedule maintenance customer; I was then given the prices and was told I would get a callback from the owner. Unfortunately I never received a phone call back. I cannot speak for the quality of work they do, my first impression of them was not a good one. read more

Took a month and a half to get an estimate. I called three times to follow up and spoke to Lisa. She said she will call me back in a few hours but never heard back. If you are not interested in my business just tell me right from the start and don't waste my time. It's a shame since I had other jobs I wanted them to do next summer and was hoping to build a trusting business relationship with them. We have used pauls lawn service for years. For the first 4 or 5 years they were OK but not great. They were cheap though. Several years ago as thier other business started to expand the lawn cutting part started to suffer. The neighbors started complaining after years of lawn cutting on Friday they changed to wednesday THey basically said that thier new customers paid more and would get a better day. When I called to complain about the failing quality Of the service I was told basically that it was my imagination. This year after they missed a third of the back yard I told them I was done with them. Insted they invoiced me for cuttings they didn't even perform. When challanged they said "oh that was a mistake". I am negotiating with me new lawn service for a price for the rest of the neighborhood. It is obvious to me that they don't need the money with the bad customer service they provide. I would avoid them at all costs. THe old saying that you get what you pay for holds true. read more

The crew did an amazing job when they showed up; unfortunately I had to call and remind them I signed up for service for the second cut. Then I received a bill with two additional lawn cuttings that they did not do. When I called in about this issue, I was met with resistance in resolving the over charge. According to the lady on the phone, the new "Grass manager" is the reason for the mistake in the bill. It has been almost a week and they still have not resolved my invoice and no one is there to answer the phone. Horrible communication and customer service, I would look elsewhere. read more

We got an estimate back in the beginning of April. They said they would be available the following week, and never called. After numerous phone calls and promises they still never showed. This guy is not in touch with his workers. When they do your lawn they fly around like they are at the races. No regard for safetyor to damaged homeowners property never telling the homeowner. Then when you complain nothing is done about the damage. The funny thing is the guy advertises a million dollars in liability insurance on his web page check it out. My husband and I had the front of our house done by Paul's Landscaping in October 2017. We already had the front clear of all of the shrubbery but the previous owners had flowers and ground cover all over the place and it started to grow back. Paul took one look at it and said not to worry because they would spray with industrial weed killer that you couldn"t get at the local Home Depot. April 2018 we had flowers popping up around the tree with the river rock and in the beds that we had lanscaped and lets not talk about the dead plants. I have called five times and am now in the sixth week of waiting to have someone come to my property and take a look at this mess of a lawn. I have received two call back from receptionist tellling me that Paul would be out to give me recommendations and another woman telling me that they couldn"t come that day because it was raining. The customer service is terrible. All I want is what I paid for! read more
