The Sob Story: He uses a "family man" act--talking about going to church or needing holiday money--to guilt-trip you into giving him a tip before the work is even done. Ghosting: After doing a poor job and leaving the repair in bad condition, he promised to come back and fix it. After a no show when he was supposed to come he ignores all calls and texts. The Proof: Avoidance: He instantly hangs up when I call from my number. The Trap: I called him from a different number and he picked up instantly.
