Some disruption in store hours, but it's always my go to place. Honestly I live in town and have been trying to reach the owners to see if they were looking for anybody to work the counter. I live like three blocks away.

The majority of reviews from the same time frame are 4 stars or above (without going back to reviews) ONLY one review was a 4. I cannot speak as to others experiences, only my own. I never experienced any issues with staff or owners. I have been greated each time I have entered the store and asked if I needed any help. I have no complaints. If I could give them a 10 or more stars I would.

I laugh because it's not like we don't have liquor stores in Virginia lol but I guess it's the uniqueness of it all and maybe the fact that it's a one stop shop with wine beer and liquor - in VA liquor stores are called ABC stores (Alcohol Beverage Control) & only sell liquor. She is always looking for the same thing; some kind of gingerbread liquor that she can't remember the name of lol and they don't ever have it so she ends up buying her usual stuff which is liquor. Again, she could get it in Virginia with no price difference but I guess it's just the fun of road-tripping. For a roadside store they do have a nice little selection, and some unique items as well and the staff is always super friendly & helpful, so why not stop & support a local small biz! Cheers peeps!

I remember walking around and wondered if they had gin. They have the inventory and if you want the basics, they pretty much have it. The aisles are on the narrower side so do be careful.

In trying to explain that I am owed money back and said unfortunately you don't know what you are doing. He yelled back. This morning I walked in and Jen and Jeff made it right. This store is amazing. I left with few dollars owed me and a token of their appreciation that I took the time to explain what happened. Thanks. I'll be back and continue to get my Linganore wines there.
