Un-Exceptable!! Below Amateur workmanship!! Very Poor restoration!! Pauls idea of "Trust" & "I'll work with you" has a different meaning. Extremely UNHappy! If Pauls work was done Professionally, I would only need to finish a few minor things, the interior and would have something to give my son when he graduates this year. My son can't wait to drive it but it will take a lot of time and a ton of more money till then. I should have trusted the past reviews I saw on other sites. Everyone that sees my car says, I was Ripped Off. Friends, family, my long time mechanics. My car was always Safe to drive, ran excellent, I drove it whenever & where ever. It only needed some rust work, Paint, trim polishing and Interior. After more than $40,000 labor & materials, Its now in worse condition and needs more work than before. It still needs "Professional" Painting, trim polishing and now has No interior and needs a ton of engine work and is NOT Safe to drive. In addition to fixing Pauls work. Paul charged for Gold and gave me Dirt. Problems right from the start with the metal work. Paint job was Destroyed by the Buffer. Paint was not only buffed-out but buffed OFF in too many places to list. Many scratches & chips. Once the HUGE amount of Large areas of Paint Bubbles & Blisters fall off, their Paint job will look worse than the old paint. Car assembly is terrible and most needs to be fixed. Large amount of Front & Rear Windshields leaks, gaskets & Trim Not installed correctly. 4 Side windows have too many problems to list. Many engine, mechanical, electrical and incorrect part problems. The list goes on and on... Each time I go to fix something, I find more things done poorly. I can't put a rug down nor anything in the trunk till I fix all the water leaks from front and rear windshields. Thank you so much for the "Yard Ornament" :-( Don't risk it. You can buy a totally restored classic, or 2, for a lot less than having one restored at Pauls Rods and Resto's!! Seriously Depressed :-( . read more

To Paul, Jena, and the rest of your Team, Having my 1965 Lincoln Continental restored was one of the best customer experience of my life in regards to quality, responsiveness, and overall 5 star treatment. The team at Paul's sent me weekly pictures of my car and all the defective parts and along with the repairs. Every week I looked forward to receiving the new updated pictures to keep me up to speed on the progress of my car. The finished product was amazing. Paul's shop is the real deal with with a team of mechanics and assistants for all mechanical repairs and body work. Just visiting Paul's shop any customer will see the quite large facility his operates for all phases of car restoration & repair and the team he employs. Paul, himself, was always on hand to walk me through every detail and his recommendations. He even talked me out of spending more money to make more changes. That tells me and anyone who comes to him that he wants to do the right thing and also have happy customers for the long term. He understands what it means to build a happy and long term customer base. I know I will never take my car anywhere else and I can be a hard guy to please. I have to disagree with the negative reviews that were posted. I brought my 1955 Chevy to Pauls because I had some shoddy work done by another shop. They took an undrivable hunk of junk with an awful paint job, an engine running on 7 cylinders, brakes that didn't work and wiring that was a fire hazzard and turned it into a work of art. They always advised me of the progress in weekly phone calls and emails with pictures and copies of receipts. Anytime I came into the shop Paul and Al sat down with me and went over everything in detail. I absolutely would recommend this shop and would do business here again and again. I would advise anyone who is thinking about bringing his car here to visit the shop and see for yourself the professionalism that goes on here. read more

Wow. I kept hearing nothing but outstanding comments about Paul, his team and their workmanship. All true! Our experience has been excellent. The restoration was absolutely spectacular. More than that though, I learned that this company has real heart. Their rebuilding a car for a double-amputee veteran. The car will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to Homes For Our Troops to build this veteran a specially-adapted custom home. This is second time, Paul's did a project for a veteran. I brought Paul my Firebird, as this is my first classic car to own I am very cautious where i bring it. Paul's team and facility made me feel real comfortable right away. I was given a tour of the facility and got a chance to see some of the work they were doing and was very impressed. I came in there for headers and rear seat belts and that's what I got. They also did a once over on the car to make sure there was nothing else needed but nothing turned up. I will definitely bring them the car again for future work. Brought in my car for some much needed restoration and was totally impressed with the staff from the get go. Paul sat down with me and gave me some great ideas. During the process they were very upfront with me and never did any work without my permission. They always kept me informed of the progress and send me weekly emails which contained 10-15 pictures of the work being done. They kept all the old worn parts and showed them to me. I am on my second car being restored at Paul's the work they do is incredible and the first car they restored looked like it just rolled off the assembly line in 1962, which had you seen what it looked like when it arrived to their shop you'd never believe it was the same car. I had Paul's do some work on my 1951 Ford F1 Pickup. I had a 12 Volt conversion completed and a front brake disc conversion completed too. When Paul's first started working on my truck, I was having a fuel issue and the truck wouldn't start. Now, after Paul's work, it starts right up all of the time. Great shop! Great guys! I am very happy with the restoration of my 1977 Oldsmobile 442. Everyone at the shop is professional and helpful. During the 9 months my car was there I received weekly pictures of the work that was done. Paul takes time with you, explains what and why something is getting done. These guys are the best. Who is writing this nonsense. They do excellent work and I trust them 100%. They always let you know what is going on with your car and they are always safety first.
