Tom and his wife Margaret are true professionals in their business when so many are oftentimes the opposite of that. Long story short, a Tesla hit me leaving a concert at the Nassau coliseum in the beginning of March. The driver at first claimed responsibility and then denied it which meant I had to go into my pocket for him hitting me! I looked up auto body shops and went with the reviews here. Spoke to Margaret and she said to take it over so Tom could take a look before going through my insurance's deductible, in order to save money. They ended up saving me hundreds of dollars just by taking a look and avoiding the deductible! Of course I still had to go into my pocket for the Tesla's mistake but I definitely picked the right shop! The appointment process was easy and accommodating and my car looks great. Tom and everyone at Radiance Auto Body were AMAZING with helping us out when my mother in law had to have body work done on her car. Unfortunately after 30+ years of accident free driving she had a slight bump accident that caused a lot more damage than we originally thought Tom, Margaret and Lucy were so so so helpful it made my mother in law, who is generally a nervous person, feel at ease. They worked around her schedule because they wanted to make it as easy for her as they possibly could. Like everyone had reiterated on here they keep you in the loop every step of the way. We couldn't be more happy with Radiance and will recommend them to everyone we know. Hopefully we won't need them in the future but if the circumstances are such, there is NO OTHER body shop we would ever go to. Thank you Radiance! Unfortunately we had a situation where we had to get a neighbor's car have body work done because of something they didn't do (we will leave it at that...lol). Tom once again came through with flying colors to help us out in a jam. It is not often you deal with a business owner who is also a genuine human being who understands the big picture. Tom gets the big picture. He has a skill and is in a position to help out people during a difficult time in their lives. Accidents are not fun and god willing no one gets hurt there is still the "fixing" of the cars after the fact...that is also not fun. But Tom, Margaret and Lucy make it so much more bearable than a lot of places. They are the most honest business owners I have ever come across. You never ever feel like you need to get another opinion because you know that what they are telling you is the gods to honest truth and the best thing for you and your vehicle. If you are looking for auto body shops on yelp it is obviously because you are in need of some work. Do yourself a favor and just drive over to Radiance, but make sure someone comes with you to drive you home because I know you will be using them for your auto body needs. read more

I was in a minor car accident and took my truck to Radiance Auto Body Shop on Bayshore Road in Deer park. The owner and staff was so nice, they were very helpful, knowledge and trustworthy. Lucy and Tom answered all our questions, gave us more then a reasonable quote, and delivered as promised. They even arrange for a rental car AND when I got my truck back they had washed and waxed it! It came out so nice that I couldn't tell which side was damaged! The end product was flawless! Also, I love the 80's radio station that my radio was tuned to, I listen to it every day!the music is fantastic. Thank you Lucy, Tom and staff for doing such a great job. Radiance Auto has been the only body shop I have ever taken any of my cars to. In total, 5 cars have seen the inside of Tommy's shop. In addition to myself, my father, mother, aunt, uncle, sister, brother and cousin only go to Radiance Auto as well. Radiance helped me from the beginning of my claim, all the way to the end. In between the drop off of my car and the pick up, Radiance (Lucy) helped me get into a vehicle at Enterprise, called me during the week to give me any updates, and returned my rental vehicle for me once my car was finished. Tom and his staff we amazing. I came in for an estimate for several scratches and he was very reasonable and did an amazing job of getting them out and making the ones that he couldn't virtually disappear. Unfortunately earlier today my vehicle got hit in the Jones beach parking lot and caused several dents and deep scratches. As much as I am upset about that I know Tom will do right by me and not only be reasonably priced but amazing work.
