Used this moving company to simply unload a uhaul and apparently, their method of leaving one of the movers inside the uhaul with belongings may be so he can go through your stuff while the other two are doing the moving. One year later and we've discovered valuables that we are just now needing, missing. Clear containers that were marked what was inside, cases left, items inside taken. Very expensive sunglasses for example. Case left so we wouldn't think it was missing in clear container. When went to use and opened cases, all 6 pairs, all were empty. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this business for your moving needs. I was quoted a price of $669 for loading and unloading without packing assistance and materials and their moving truck broke down en route to my apartment. They did not call me to let me know the ETA at all and then called to say they were outside. The supervisor then calls to say that the price has now doubled for the labor. They also damaged some of my furniture in transit and tried to gaslight me after I confronted them as if I was delusional. The supervisor refused to lower the amount due to the truck breaking down and damage inconvenience and charged $1300. This is robbery. The movers they hired also stole my air fryer and put it in their other truck during the move! Save yourself the distress. read more

Two of the three movers could not speak English which made it hard to tell them where i needed stuff. Secondly, they broke my daughters brand new bed which was only 2 months old. I could write a book about how HORRIBLE my experience was with this company; first things first, the three KIDS that showed up were kind and I don't have much to say about them other than they have clearly never been trained on moving furniture. They had barely any equipment, were SLIDING things down my stairs (those items included my dressers, side tables, my couch) I was on a call and was horrified when it ended and I came out to discover chunks of wood missing from my floors, one of my side tables is completely broken and the other is missing an entire corner because they flipped it sideways and threw it on a dolly without putting something on it to cushion it while on the dolly. They were late and upon arrival seemed completely out of it as if they had been exhausted already and were entering my 16,000 square foot home with minimal energy. I had to supervise the ENTIRE thing, even at one point jumping in to assist them in moving my things. The dolly they brought seemed to be 50 years old and broke WHILE moving a dresser down the steps; overall, I simply needed help moving items to my basement and was nearly in tears at how many things of mine that I loved are destroyed and I strongly feel it's solely based on terrible leadership and training and probably supplies. I see there are some people that had a good experience with this company, but after speaking to some local businesses and learning more about this company, what I've discovered is you stand a 50/50 chance of having your things moved successfully and this is solely based on the crew you receive and whether or not they are trained and have the nicer equipment on their truck; please BEWARE or this company!! read more

I called and scheduled with this company for a move two weeks from now. Unfortunately I scheduled with them quickly because of the low price they offered. I asked what about the distance of the move the guy said oh and added an additional 200 bucks. That didn't bother me. What made me change my mind was the horrible reviews I hadn't read prior to scheduling with them. I called the next day to cancel the service and was told I would not receive a refund of the $100 deposit and that it would be applied to a future move. I've never heard of such nonsense! I helped one of my best friends and her daughter move a few weeks ago. I was assisting her move boxes and smaller objects for 90% of the time the movers were at both the first house and the new house. One of the three movers was very pleasant. The others did nothing but complain and gripe the ENTIRE time they were there. Moving is stressful enough, you hire movers to help relieve some of that stress, not add to it. No one should be made to feel like they are an inconvenience when they are PAYING FOR A SERVICE. (Oh and I should mention they were provided lots of bottled water, soda, and lunch by my friend and her partner, they also only moved one average moving truck load of items). That was the tip of the iceberg. They completely broke the main pieces of furniture that were the entire reason she had hired them in the first place (including her daughter's bed that she had sent a pdf of to the company weeks prior so they would know the proper way to disassemble and reassemble...the movers didn't even know this pdf existed when they were there as ownership had never given it to them). The move was literally 5 mi. down the road...a 10 min drive if you hit lights. When they arrived at the second location, they increased the cost of the move suddenly by more than $1000!!! AND HELD HER POSSESSIONS HOSTAGE UNTIL IT WAS PAID. Like....what?! Almost my entire generation of my family has worked for moving companies throughout the years, I have first hand knowledge of what goes into the average day for a busy mover and what truly difficult moves entail....this move did not fall into the truly difficult category by a long shot. I am absolutely APPALLED at how my friend was treated. Pauly's Movers made what should have been an exciting day for her a worst case scenario nightmare. There were boxes that were clearly labeled (on multiple sides) that were not even attempted to be placed in the proper location of the new house. They broke the railing going up the stairs, scuffed up walls, put gouges in walls in both houses without saying a word to her or her partner. She found all of these things later on. I think what really is the worst part of this is she sent the company multiple emails (with pictures of the damage) and still has yet to hear back from them. It's been weeks. I could go on with examples of additional issues that occurred but I would hope at this point what I'm trying to convey is clear. Do not be fooled by this company unless you literally want to pay to be made to feel like crap and pay way more than expected for someone to break your furniture and ding up your walls. Do not hire this company. They scammed us and gave us a terrifying experience, other than charging us triple the quotation. My husband and I were planning to move yesterday, and it was the worst nightmare of our lives. I found Pauly's Movers online. I asked for a quotation for my two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. The employee, Jefferson, was very polite and welcoming. He sent me a quote with an estimate from 700-800 based on three workers and a truck for three hours of work which is what normally an apartment this size takes. Yesterday the movers showed late and took a long time to get their truck into the loading dock. One of them refused to work and remained in the truck because the truck's breaks were not working. So we ended up with two employees only working extremely slow and taking their sweet time chatting and talking about how many guns they own. They took four hours to load the apartment because only two were working and were working slowly and didn't have the proper equipment, just small dollies, and they refused to take everything. When we got to the destination, they refused to unload the truck before paying. The employee who remained in the car got up to my apartment and started saying that I had to pay an extra thousand dollars or he would not give my stuff. I talked to Pauly's movers' office to let them know that I'm being extorted and that only two were working and very slow with little to no equipment. When the employee heard me, he started yelling and cursing me. I was petrified as my husband was still parking the car, so I was alone with them in the apartment. I told him to step outside because I didn't feel safe with a grown man yelling and cursing at me like that. He was extremely threatening. He took off and took all our stuff, and drove away. We called the police and the movers' company, and they were able to bring him back. I was forced to pay 1700$ to get my stuff back aside from the fact that I was literally sobbing and shaking. It was a nightmare. This company really scammed us and extorted us, and misrepresented their services and prices. On top of that, after forcing us to pay 1700$, they didn't finish the job, half of our stuff is still at our old house, and we are now slowly moving them with our car and our friends' cars. Also, most of the tuff they moved came out broken or stained with black oily stains. Please help get my money back or at least compensation for all this damage. I sincerely hope no one can go through this experience again, especially when you're left in a very vulnerable and precarious situation where someone has everything you own in life, and they're extorting you and threatening you. I scheduled a move with Pauly's Movers LLC on 7/30 for a move on 8/4. The movers shower up 2 hours late. I called to check up on the movers the guy told me "I thought you wanted them to come later" I never said that I told them 10am. Once the movers arrived they apologized and told me his car was broken into. I understood. The movers got started working. I watched them on 3 occasions take 15-20 min breaks to take person calls and hangout in the back of the truck. I also have video footage from my apartment complex. It took them 3.5 hours to move 2 beds sets, 3 tv, a table, 4 chairs, a couch, 2 tv stands, an 12 boxes out of my apartment. Mind you I put everything but the beds by the door waiting on them. In the process they broke my couch. Then offered to super glue a 1200 couch back together. We finally get to my new place the guy tells me they won't be using the back door which would have been easier and whatever they can't fit in they will leave outside. I told him this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with the manager. The manager told me they will do the best they can. They started to bring stuff back in the house they scratched walls, put holes in the walk ways and took more personal breaks. I was on the phone talking to my parents when one of the guys jumps in my face cursing and screaming at me telling me I refused one of the workers water. This wasn't true as no one asked me for water. Water is free it doesn't even make sense for that to be the case. So he goes on to threaten me and yell and scream. telling his other workers "fuck this nigga, put his shit out" his partners has to calm him down and let him know I was on the phone and probably didn't hear him. I called the main number and the guy didn't take my side he was aware of the situation then asked me "why didn't I just give him water". I said "no one asked me for water and I'm telling you your worker is yelling, screaming and threatening your customer who is paying you 1300 for a move" no apology no sympathy. They finished the move 3 hours later. I was supposed to get 3 professional movers but 2 worked for the company and the other one was a friend who didn't actually work for the company. False advertisement at its finest. The movers took 1.5-2 hours worth of breaks and charged me for a 7 hour move that should have taken 4 max with 3 guys. I helped as well so 4 people. They talked about sex, fighting, and other inappropriate things the entire time of the move. After the move I reached out to the moving company to inform them of the issues they were supposed to open a claim I never received w claim number or a number to reach the claims department. I text and Call no response I had to threaten to reverse the charges to get a response and he said "it takes time and he doesn't want to go to court" most unprofessional moving company I've ever worked with. terrible!!! first they showed up in a box truck we i asked for a large truck!! them they showed up with 2 inexperienced people, damaged my furniture, painting, (i) did most of the damn work myself they couldn't lift a damn sofa properly!! paid my money half way through the job because the manager keep calling the employees ask for mecto make a full payment then i treated them to lunch then got back to my house for the second load and one of the employees said his phone was low and needed a charger i should've known something wasn't right when all them got in the truck but me trusting the guy's i said walgreens is 5 mins away and the left 15 min passed no return so i drove to walgreens no pauly's truck !!! drove back to the house no pauly's truck them sob's left without completing the job!!! i called the company several times no answer!!! dont hire this company!!! a rip off!!! god is gonna deal pauly's he doesn't like ugly!!! read more
