From the beginning the experience sucked. Months ago for our appointment, we were called the day of…read more(30 minutes before) and asked if we could reschedule because staff was out - uhm no. Fast forward - WRONG DRESS delivered. With a slit instead of without. On the phone, Hannah the owner said she could comp the $500 in alterations (the dress was 1,300 + 500 in alterations, one of which was necessary to remove the lace that was also NOT supposed to be on the dress). Very difficult team to deal with. Not worth going here when they mess things up pertaining to the biggest day of your life. ** PS the owner is addressing me as the bride, but I did not sign anything therefor I am more than entitled to exercise my first amendment right and share my experience. Even though I was not the bride, I was still present when the tried to cancel our appointment last minute, and when the owner said she would comp a certain amount since the wrong dress was ordered/delivered, regardless of how that happened.

My cousin picked this place because of their extensive dress collection- a ton of dresses. They carried many of the designer lines she was interested in. She booked an appointment ahead of time. During that appointment, she had a private dressing room, seating for our whole enterage and someone to help us the whole time. 1. Tori, who helped us, was absolutely amazing. She really focused on helping my cousin find a dress that she loved and did not pressure her into buying one from Vows. She helped my cousin in and out of over 20 dresses, giving excellent feedback and being so helpful with the fit. We could tell she was 100% invested in making sure it was the right dress. Also, Tori also provided a lot of "emotional coaching" which really helped my cousin keep a positive attitude and make it a pleasant and fun experience. Such a bonus! 2. It's such a fun but professional atmosphere. We had a champagne appointment and it was plentiful. You can bring your group of family and friends and it will be what you make it, but Vows definitely kept it positive and fun for us. 3. The customer service was fantastic here. My cousin "found the gown" and they gave her a cute little board to take a picture with. Such a fun idea and we created lots of memories. We got Tori's contact information and she promised to follow up for alteration details. Such great customer service. 4. Their prices are very competitive and they have an excellent selection in Missouri. The experience is worth it by itself. We had such high hopes walking into Norman Bridal, but our experience has been very disappointing…read more On August 2nd, my daughter's grandmother purchased a veil here as a gift from her great-grandmother who has passed away. It was meant to be something sentimental and special. The veil was not in stock and we were told it would not be ordered until they had enough orders to submit to the manufacturer. We paid $280 in cash. Since then, my daughter has chosen her gown elsewhere, and we respectfully asked that the transaction be canceled since no veil had been ordered, nothing was in their possession, and no product was received. Unfortunately, Norman Bridal has refused. Their only offer was to let her pick out a different veil, but they do not carry the style she wants, and their "no refund" policy is being applied even when there is literally nothing to return. What makes this even more frustrating is that they have now stopped responding to my emails. Instead of helping us resolve this situation, we are left with silence and a store credit we cannot use. This is especially disappointing given the sentiment behind the purchase -- a gift from a great-grandmother who is no longer with us. Instead of being able to honor that gesture, we're left feeling like $280 of family meaning and memory is being held hostage by a rigid policy. I would caution other families to be very careful here. Read the fine print, and know that even if they haven't ordered or provided the item, they will not give you your money back -- and they may stop responding once you question it.
