Over several weeks the sand continued to blow into our pool, on our porch, and into our gardens. There is still sand sitting on the pavers a month later. We let him know several times and he did come out to look at it and agreed that the sand was coming out of the crevices between pavers in several places. He agreed to come out the next week and reseal it. That was over 3 weeks ago and he has not come back and we have not heard back from him.

US Brick Block was hired to replace pavers on my driveway and walkway…read more Work began November 22nd the day before Thanksgiving. Later in the morning, I alerted verbally and via text that my water pressure had dropped. My concerns were dismissed because no water leak was visible. By the end of the day most of the work had been completed and the crew began to hose down the driveway but barely any water was coming out. Again I alerted via text, photo AND video that the water pressure was down. Again my concerns were dismissed. The project supervisor didn't even bother to speak with me about the issue. Thanksgiving day I was left with two kids and an elderly parent with Alzheimer's rationing hot water for showers and a dishwasher jammed packed with dishes. Desperate for help I tracked down an emergency city water representative willing to FaceTime with me to help me figure out what was going on. US Brick refused to help. As soon as I showed the city rep the water gauge spinning out of control (all water was turned off in home) he matter of factly concluded there was a leak. November 24, US Brick is back finishing up and the foreman scoffs at the possibility of leak, until his arrogance back fires when he sees the water gauge spinning out of control. Three days have passed and US Brick refuses to acknowledge the leak or to call a plumber to investigate. End of day Friday the 24th I managed to get an emergency plumber to investigate, he confirms there is a leak and schedules an exploratory dig for Monday. Monday the plumber thankfully locates the leak, exactly where the crew had spent their lunch break leaning against the house and attempted to wash their hands at the main water valve. Somehow the jostling of the water valve or the weight of their bodies leaning against the pipes cracked the pipe. After confronting US BRICK with all the time stamped texts, photos and videos proving in fact it was during the job that the leaked happened and doing all the leg during Thanksgiving to pin point the leak. I was told the contract stated they are not responsible for damage to the pipes and that the leak was probably already ongoing and I only noticed during the job. In other words I spent 8k to get a paving company to pay for a 500 leak repair??? Today I'm left with shoddy work that they refused to pay unless I didn't absorb the plumbing cost. I requested the owner to call me, he never did which explains why Jeff feels so entitled to gaslight and ridicule paying customers. Attached are screenshots of a few of the texts and photos.
