Customer service is horrible and slow. The open skate is dangerous with nobody watching. Kids smash into other kids

There is absolutely zero organization or communication among the staff. When you check in there is zero mention of any amenities, no one asked if we needed a walker, nobody told us where to go to check in for skates, nobody told us about the bounce house; ZERO communication. Slapped a bracelet on our hands and yelled NEXT! Spoke to Will after finding out from another patron that you have to go request a walker, Will is entirely incompetent, rude, and apathetic to guests. I asked for a walker, he told me to go to the next line. I get to the next line, wait for my turn, and they said they have no walkers. ZERO communication. Nobody knows what's going on. I voiced my frustration with the complete lack of communication, and the employee named Will literally said, "sorry, not my problem. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone will turn in their walker early." So a few minutes later I checked back in the first line that I was originally told to go to for a walker; there was one left. Was told by the young guy there (didn't get his name) to go to the second line to pay.... I wait my turn, get to the front of the line, Walker was gone. Repeat 2 more times. Finally I talked to Alicia, who unbelievably enough was a manager. Told her about the 20 minute runaround I experienced with her employees. She smirked and said, sorry there's nothing I can do. I said are you the manager? She said yes I'm one of the managers. I said well you can train your employees better to start. She smirked again and said, "I have no power here, sorry." I said, you just said you're a manager? She said I am one of them. I said, what is your name? She laughed and said, "Alicia. And you can write whatever you want about me; I do not care. This isn't even my main job." I said I would like a refund, we are leaving. She said do you have your receipt? I said, my husband threw it away. She shrugged and said, "sorry. Nothing I can do if you don't have your receipt." And sat there smirking at me. UNBELIEVABLY HORRID customer service!!! Will needs to be trained, and Alicia needs to be fired. read more

I've lived in Greenville for almost six years and had no idea this place existed until recently. If you've got kids, you probably should know about this! In addition to outdoor playgrounds (one is handicap accessible), there's a huge indoor bounce house. For $8, your child can play to his or her heart's content. There's a snack bar and an ice skating rink in this section as well. What a great rainy day destination or for when it gets too hot outside. I didn't get to check out the entire complex, but evidently there are more indoor sports offered, and outside there's a miniature train, a dog park, community garden, and multiple athletic fields. Fantastic place! Nice, clean, new, and not only were the skates in great condition, they fit great. Very reasonably priced. 2 public sessions to choose from. Friendly staff. And super clean bathrooms. Very impressed with this establishment. Highly recommend! read more

Probably used to be nice but no grounds upkeep noticeable. Several roots at the tree bases are way above ground and just asking for someone or a pet to trip and break a leg or worse. Just a law suit waiting to happen. Such a sad state of what probably was a very nice off leash park. read more

Haha... I love this place. We typically drop the kids off one Friday per month for a parents night out. You get 4 HOURS away from lil these crumb-snatchers for $20 bucks. Drop them off at 6 and grab them up at 10 p.m.. They love it. They get to do a craft activity, play in the bouncy house, play a game, and ice-skate. Plus... They get dinner (pizza). Pavilion Recreation Complex - Recreation Centers Near Me - Taylors, South Carolina

Was at a birthday party. Staff for party was excellent. There were 4 children at party (4, 5, 6). Mostly they were in the bouncy area. There was other children that were not from the party. One was a boy about 9 or 10 years old. He was out of control to the point that several adults with our party had to speak with him. He continued to be disruptive, walking on top of the shoe holder and jumping into one of the bouncy houses just missing some of the smaller children. He walked on top of the other inflatables, then jumping off. Three of the adults that I know spoke with the Pavilion employee patrolling the area, she just ignored our complaints. We didn't know if there was anyone with this child, but he was definitely being supervised by anyone, including the staff. We left after the party (after 2.5 hours) even though the children would like to have stayed longer. This time included the time to eat, have cake and open gifts which means that the children at the party hardly had any time to use the rest of the facility. I realize that there is a disclaimer about being responsible for yourself if you are injured, but if you let unsupervised children disrupt everything and someone gets hurt, I wouldn't want your liability insurance premium. There had already been an injury that afternoon when a child playing too rough faceplanted on the floor, and from when I could tell - broke his nose. read more

I have not been here very often but what I have seen looks very nice. I am pretty sure this is the only place locally that has ice skating. That is cool. My daughter plays volleyball here in addition to the West Side Club in Spartanburg. this place is very kid-friendly and even has people constantly monitoring the rink for people who may fall or need help learning. it isnt very expensive and they have these guiding devices for kids who are learning to skate. they have a variety of sizes and styles of skates (i would recommend getting the hockey skates because the figure skates pick my ankles a little bit though) over all a great place read more
