Because of all the wonderful reviews for this practice I decided to bring my new puppy here instead of to my regular vet in Milton as I wanted a vet closer to my home. I was told there was a wait for in person appointments and decided to move forward with the 3 week delay. The day of my scheduled appointment I received a call telling me my appointment would need to be rescheduled because the Dr. we were scheduled to see had been put on bed rest due to pregnancy complications, completely understandable and I hope all goes well. What isn't acceptable in my opinion is telling me the next available appointment is a month out. Perhaps it would be best if they said they were not accepting new patients if they are unable to see them. Now I'm scrambling to squeeze my puppy in with my regular vet. read more

Paw Patch Clinic and Dr Banner are great! Dr Banner is the most compassionate vet and I have known her for over 20 years. However Dr Pursley is a very uncaring vet. She sent my dog home after I expressed strong concerns about her condition and didn't want to leave the clinic. Dr Pursley had an appointment she needed to get to. An hour and a half after leaving the clinic my dog died and we witnessed her suffering and a very traumatic end. These last moments are forever blazed into my husband and my memories. Our dog could have been euthanized and had a peaceful end. Instead she suffered as we watched her die. Dr Pursley should not be practicing. read more

I have never been here personally, but Paw Patch Animal Clinic will be my new vet. My family bought a new house in Roswell in December and moved there from Miami, Florida after closing. I helped with the move but did not join them immediately because I had some loose ends to tie up in Florida before moving myself. Two of my cats went with my husband and in-laws to our new home. After a couple months, one of my cats in Roswell started to show signs of a urinary tract infection. She is a senior kitty with a history of these infections and generally if the signs are already obvious that means that she has progressed beyond the reach of my usual holistic treatments. I was not there to notice and so she got pretty bad because my family did not really know what to look for or what to do about it. My mother-in-law called me on a Saturday morning to tell me that my old girl had been urinating blood and was crying out in obvious pain. I was freaking out because not only was I 600+ miles away, but my family had no carrier for my feisty girl and no clue as to how to help her. Plus being the weekend only made things more challenging. I immediately started checking Yelp for vets in the area and calling them all to see if someone could squeeze her in. Every time I got someone to answer the phone, the response was generally, "Sorry but we are booked and can't help." None of them seemed very sympathetic to my situation either. Until I called Paw Patch Animal Clinic. The lovely lady who answered the phone seemed genuinely concerned about my cat's well-being. They were booked too and pressed for time as it was nearing their closing hours, but she told me to have my family drop her off as soon as possible and they would make sure she got seen. Since my inlaws do not speak English and are not tech savvy, she directed me to their website where I was able to create an account with them online and authorize my inlaws for drop off and pick up. She also allowed me to make the payment over the phone so that all they had to worry about was getting her there and taking her home. I ordered a rush delivery from Walmart with a carrier and they were able to get her to the vet with ample time for them to treat her before closing. The vet called me to explain everything and go over options for treatment. She was very thorough and kind. Once my old girl had been successfully treated and was ready for release, they called me to finalize payment. While it was not what I would call cheap, the final bill was considerably less than what I would have expected to pay for the same service in Miami, so I was pleasantly surprised at their affordable rates. My cat started improving right away and has been golden since. It is so refreshing and also rare in my experience to find a veterinary clinic that truly values the animals in their care and treats each patient as the special being they are rather than like a dollar sign. Now that I am officially a Roswell resident along with my other cats and two dogs, there is no better choice for my babies' care than Paw Patch Animal Clinic. I will be back soon hopefully only for routine preventative care, but at least I know I have someone I can count on when other emergencies arise too. read more

During this crazy time of Covid, I wound up adopting 2 feral kittens who had been trapped during a TNR effort. One of my older cats died in July and I felt that getting new kittens might help her sister move on. The kittens I adopted were mostly healthy but I was having an ongoing issue with diarrhea with both of them. The vet I had been using wasn't effective, so on the recommendation of my neighbor, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Banner. The very first time she saw them she called me after drop off and asked a ton of questions. After hearing that they were former ferals, she asked if she could test for clostridium perfringens, which is a digestive bacteria common to drinking from contaminated water sources. The test came back positive and within 2 weeks of being medicated and being given probiotics, my kittens were healthy and the litter box issue had been solved. Every drop off was remote from the parking lot, but Dr. Banner made it a point to come out twice and speak to me in person (properly masked) and to compliment my kittens. So far I've been extremely happy with the staff and the service they've provided. I'll be taking the kittens in to be neutered in November and will report back then. But I'm sure that they will be amazing. read more

We have had pets for over 25 years and this clinic is by far the best. The two doctors are incredibly enthusiastic, informative, helpful and caring. All of the other staff is wonderful as well. They have been great with my special needs dog. Their prices are reasonable and they take into account whether or not a procedure is really needed. They were quick to help when my dog needed a specialist and checked in on her frequently. They are great with communication. Really, really great. They work with rescues, providing discounted rates. When a pet is sick, they let you drop off and pick up, so they can be seen right away. This clinic is amazing and I highly recommend them- you won't find better. read more

Dr. Banner is amazing. She did so much for the quality of life for one of our fur babies, I have to write her a glowing review!!! One of our cats has some ongoing breathing health problems. She acts a certain way when she's hurting, and when we noticed she was acting like she was in pain, we took her to her old vet, who glanced at her teeth, said they looked fine and sent her home. Dr. Banner is the best veterinarian there ever was! I met her when she offered to stay after hours on a weekend to save an abused rescue dog. She did everything she could and saved the dog (Emma) and because she donated her time it saved money for others to be rescued. Dr. Banner has since helped me vet many rescue dogs & my own pets. She often walks in and introduces herself to the actual pet & sits on the floor with them. She 1000000% cares about the animals more than money or anything else. I can't say enough nice things. He'd seen 6 different vets over the course of multiple visits with the VCA and no one could locate his issue or, at least, get him comfortable. I am super picky about where I take my pup for anything (grooming, day care, vet, etc.) but was recently referred to Dr. Banner while in between veterinary appointments. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff at the desk were super friendly and even gave us a tour of the entire facility for our first visit. I've never been shown around a veterinary clinic to see where labs and tests take place before. The feel of the clinic is very cozy and home-like, not like the typical sterile offices I'm used to going to. The waiting rooms are very nice with comfortable seats, coffee and separate waiting rooms for both dogs and cats to make the animals feel more comfortable. The room we were seen in was very spacious and I was very impressed by the care we received. My nervous pup crawled right into Dr. Banner's lap (who got down own her level to examine her the entire time). I've gone to a couple different vets and no one has ever mentioned that my dog might have a heart murmur, something Dr. Banner was able to identify immediately. I've felt in the past that some vets were quickly in and out of the room without much time for a conversation or questions, but that's definitely not how this felt. Dr. Banner stayed to answer any questions, talk with us and check in with us. Dr. Banner is the best! She possesses all the best qualities in a veterinarian - vast knowledge and experience, and a very caring attitude to both her animal patients and their humans. I took our "allergy dog" Jake to see Dr. Banner - he was chewing on his paws, he had skin issues on the inside of his ear flaps and, most urgently, he had an eye infection. Dr. Banner prescribed an antibiotic solution for the eye infection, an allergy medication for his itching / chewing issues and she sent in a prescription to a compounding pharmacy for an ointment for Jake's ears (she called them "Dachshund ears" although Jake is a Pit mix). Within a week, the difference in Jake was nothing short of amazing - no more itching / chewing his paws, his eye infection cleared up and his skin condition on the inside his ears dramatically improved! I call him our "New & Improved Jakey-Boy" now! I highly recommend Dr. Banner and Paw Patch Animal Clinic!! read more
