I can't believe I have to leave this bad review. Prior to Memorial day weekend this service was definitely a 5 star. We have been using this service for 3 years and have had a great experience with them up until Memorial day weekend 2016. We scheduled a visit with them for our cat on that Sunday. We received a call by the sitter assigned (Karina) saying she had lost our key and could not provide care to our cat. We immediately had the owner (Tiana) call us to resolve the issue. It could not be resolved. The service had no backup plan and put the responsibility on us to resolve the lockout even though it was their employee that lost the key. The fact that the sitter/walker (Karina) can be so negligent and still remain employed at this service prompts me to write this review. We have since found a separate service that employs a two key set system to prevent such mistakes. Fortunately it was only one day, I can't even imagine if this were to happen over a week long holiday. My constructive advise to this service would be to implement a two set key system to mitigate these mistakes. read more

I tried two other dog walkers in NYC before literally stumbling upon Paw Prints. After meeting Tiana and Matt I knew that they were the right fit for my crazy schedule. Tiana came over to meet my pup and that took down all of her medical history, feeding schedule, and vet information. Tiana and the team are flexible, with a two hour window for booking/cancellation. They are always on time and I love getting updates from the walks or a card on my counter when I get home. I have a young puppy who is very small and I know they take amazing care of her. Tiana is highly professional and runs Paw Prints like a real business, which is very unlike dog walking in NYC. They are organized, email me invoices and always give me updates on how she is doing. I will never use another company again as long as Paw Prints is around! Highly highly reccomend them! read more

I joined Yelp today just because I am so happy with my dog walker and want to spread the word!! It is very scary to give someone access to your home, and your pets, especially in NYC, but I have complete confidence in the Paw Prints team. Tiana is proactive, responsive and very flexible with my ever-changing schedule. I love that I can cancel at no cost in the morning if I discover that I'll be home that day. I cannot say enough about my walker, Dave. Layla (my dog) loves him, he is on time, and sends me personalized notes after each walk that always brighten my day. Dave has taken the time to understand Layla's quarks (skateboards!) and sweet spots (belly rubs!). He always leaves her with fresh water. He'll even give my cat some love when he is there. The dogwalker assigned to walk my boy Q was Myk. He walked him faithfully rain/shine 5 days a week. When Q met Myk there was an instant connection & that's when I just knew Myk would be perfect. Myk left a daily report on how Q was doing. When he couldn't make it (which was only twice ) I was notified & someone else stepped in. Q was never forgotten. This agency is great & I'd recommend to anyone. FYI The prices aren't too bad either. I did my research & they're average for this city & the competition. read more

Tiana and the Paw Prints team went above and beyond when walking our dog while we went on vacation. She and the other walkers came by and met us and the pooch, took down very thorough information, and ensured we had all that we need for peace of mind while we were gone. We got an update after every walk with any relevant details and even photos of him on some of his walks. They spent a good amount of time with the dog each time, making sure he has fun and gets his business done. Best of all, prices are very reasonable for NYC and payment can be done via PayPal. Tiana and Sonya are GREAT! I have used their services for many times and my little dog, Dexter, is ALWAYS happy! Dexter hates to sleep out of home and he does not accept boarding. So, when I need to travel, Tiana and Sonya go to my apartment, feed Dexter and walk him for me! He is always super happy when I come back, so I know that they gave him lots of love! My dog clearly loves these girls! They are fast to answer emails and I receive updates (message or email) after each walk! Also, when I called them in the last minute, they were able to include Dexter in their schedule!!! I would recommend Paw Prints if you need someone to take care of your puppy! =) read more

My cats' nails were way too long and it was getting dangerous for my family. The cats don't let me clip their nails, so I needed help. I called Tiana and she came right over to assist. She was so kind and patient when it took a lot time to round each hiding cat up and hand each one over to her. She was gentle and very loving and got the job done quickly and professionally. I just had a great experience with Paw Prints. I had an emergency situation where i had to be away and had no pet sitter. The owner & sitter came to my house the night before i left, they met my cat, took his history, got to spend a little time with him, and were able to give him eye drops which was key in me hiring them. When i got home, my kitty was very content and i knew he was well taken care of. Its a comforting feeling to know that i can go away, and my cat will be well taken care of and treated like the little king that he is. Thank you! read more

Tiana and Thom are just great, from the first get to know you and your dog meeting to responding immediately to all your needs or changes in schedule. Their dog walkers are great, with various levels of experience, and will take direction on how you want your dog handled. My English Bulldog fell in love with one walker, Wayne, and couldn't wait for him to arrive each time. I would definitely give them a try as I've tried others and Paw Prints is at the top of my list. I was disappointed with my experience with Paw Prints and hope this review will inspire them to provide better service. I contacted them about a year ago to see if they could provide walks on an as-needed basis (not every week). Before the meet and greet, they had me fill out an extensive form about my dog's needs - which I was happy to do - although in retrospect, this was a lot of effort to put in before even meeting the walker. Tiana recommended a walker named Tiffani, who she said had been part of the team for a long time and was very experienced. Funny, because I didn't see her on the website, but okay. Tiffani came over and was very cold and not at all affectionate towards my dog. He was a four month old puppy at the time and was still working on manners and jumped on her and she was very put off. She did not pet him or attempt to get to know him in any way. She didn't seem at all knowledgeable about dogs and had no idea what a kong was when I asked if she could give him one after the walk. She asked if she could take him to the dog run and I said that was fine but mentioned that he generally does better in the big dog run. Her response was that she thought all small dogs were aggressive and yappy and there was nothing to be done about that (read: my dog is a small dog). I contacted Tiana and said I didn't think this dog walker would be a good fit and asked if any other walkers would be available. Tiana said there'd be a couple others available and promised to get back to me about when they could schedule a meet and greet. She never did. I'm sure this company has great walkers for people who need walks every week. However, they don't seem to care much about clients who need more intermittent walks on an as-needed basis. I wouldn't even mind if the pricing was different for people who needed less than three walks per week - which is how most companies handle this. read more

I love Paw Prints. Tiana figures everything out ahead of time, and the pet sitters are fantastic. Most recently, Karina took care of our 4 cats and dog (yes, you read that correctly) and did everything smoothly, including giving medication to the dog. She even helped us get vet attention for a sick cat, and was extremely caring to all the animals. read more

I've used Paw Prints for the last two years and have had great service. I have a hectic schedule and often need extra walks and it is never an issue. As long as you give several hours' notice (i.e. early morning notice for an afternoon walk), you can get the schedule updated the day of whereas many other services require a 24hr lead time. The dog walkers go above and beyond and make sure that my dog is happy and well cared for. I also enjoy reading the notes that my dog walker leaves me each day. read more

Paw Prints is a great company. Incredibly reliable (never once missed a walk, even though we have an erratic schedule that changes from week to week), responsive (Tiana, the owner, responds to emails or texts usually within minutes), convenient (you can set up auto pay), and high tech (the walker checks in with a QR code on a magnet on your refrigerator, which sends you an email to let you know the walk is starting, and when the walker checks back in at the end of the walk, it sends you a completion email with the walkers comments for the day). Rich has been our walker for some time now, and he takes excellent care of our pup, even carrying her up and down our stairs when she hurt her knee, always makes sure to wipe her down when the weather is bad, etc. We are sadly moving and will not be able to use Paw Prints anymore, but we would otherwise always use them! We cannot recommend them highly enough! read more
