Lauren is an amazing dog trainer and a wonderful human being. I have been working with Lauren with my almost 6 mo old puppy since April and I cannot begin to say how grateful I am that I found her! She has been available for any and every issue or question that has come up and goes way above and beyond to share her knowledge and expertise. She has helped facilitate a loving and connective bond between me and my puppy. Watching her in action is an indescribable experience. If you are looking for a dog trainer who is talented, knowledgeable and passionate about her field of expertise, then you have found her here! I feel I have learned so much from Lauren over the time she has been working with me and my dog and the knowledge she has given me will continue to grow and strengthen the bond between me and my dog for years to come. Thank you so much Lauren!

Have any of the trainers had experience with Cane Corso breed?

Hi Patrick. I have worked with a few cane corsos. I’m more familiar with pit bulls as far as strong breeds go between being in the rescue world and owning Pitbulls. Is there something specific you’re looking for?

Exceptional Dog Care Service Near Crocheron Park!…read more I can't express how happy I am to have found Doggy Do-Gooders! I've always been extremely hands-on with my dog, Kuma, a 13-year-old Pomeranian Poodle who's energetic yet reserved and a bit high-maintenance (white fur challenges, anyone?). For years, I found it difficult to trust anyone else to handle his care, but Doggy Do-Gooders completely changed my perspective. I discovered them through a friend's recommendation, and I was surprised to learn how conveniently located they are near Crocheron Park in Bayside. Their team--particularly Jason and Alix--has been fantastic. They come directly to us, which makes everything so seamless, and their care and attention to Kuma make them feel like part of the family. The service is incredibly personable. Jason has an almost intuitive understanding of Kuma's needs, from walking to overall handling, which gives me such peace of mind. They've even managed to work with Kuma's quirky reserved nature while ensuring he gets the exercise and engagement he needs. What I love most is their reliability and professionalism. They're always punctual, communicate well, and even send updates during walks (sometimes with adorable photos of Kuma!). These small touches make a huge difference, especially for someone like me who's always been cautious about delegating my dog's care. Doggy Do-Gooders is a true diamond in the rough. I wasn't able to find them on Google, but that makes them feel even more like a hidden gem. If you're in the Bayside area and looking for trustworthy, caring, and professional dog walkers, I can't recommend them enough. Kuma and I are so grateful for their service--it's been life-changing! If you want peace of mind and top-notch care for your pup, don't hesitate to reach out to them. They've completely exceeded my expectations!

We contacted them 3 months ago, and they confirmed they can provide the services. I have a friendly confirmation via email from the owner's wife. I called to confirm our in-home appt now 2 weeks before we leave. They were supposed to meet the cats at our home and take the house key. The owner is driving to my house the morning of our appointment, he gets lost and ends up in Hillside in Queens somewhere near the LIE. He calls me 5 mins before the appt to advise me he was confused and doesn't service my area. AFTER THREE MONTHS now you check the address and you go back on your promise and confirmation. Nice, What kind of business is this? Now my cats are left with no care thanks to them. Maybe they're getting old and heartless but you don't do that to people. We leave on vacation with the family and friends and now we have no one to care for our cats. I will make sure to let everyone know that is referring your company how horrible you are. The customer is always right. You should have provided the service anyway.

He calmly explained what we were doing right and wrong, and he also told us that there is more than one way to train, for certain things, and he went over many options for us. I felt calmer and more confident after meeting with him, and my husband and I are trying to follow all of his suggestions. David is a kind and lovely guy, who clearly loves animals. After almost 3 hours, I called to check in. They said he'd be ready in another 40 minutes. Fine -- I was still patient. When I arrived, they told me he needed another 10 minutes, so I waited in the waiting area. While I was waiting, I could hear my puppy crying and being scolded by the groomer. I thought, "Okay, maybe he's having a hard time staying still," and I tried to be understanding. When they finally brought him out after 30mins, I didn't even recognize him. The haircut was terrible, but I told myself it was fine -- his fur will grow back. I paid, gave them a tip, and left. But when I looked at him closely at home, I realized they had seriously hurt him. He had a cut near his eye, his paws were bleeding, and there were razor burns on his stomach. My daughter was crying. My son was angry. Our whole family was heartbroken that our puppy -- a beloved family member -- had been treated like this. What upsets me most is they never called to say they were having problems or couldn't handle him. Not once. And when they brought him out, they didn't even apologize for what they'd done. What kind of business does this? It was dishonest, unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable. Please be aware before bringing your pets in to be groomed. We will not be coming back.
