K9 Resorts Stamford opened in September 2023 so there weren't many reviews or testimonials to go off of, but we learned that they have other locations that have great reviews. Anytime it comes to boarding or daycare for our dog we get nervous as any pet owner does, mostly because of the unknown and you want to be sure you're leaving them in good hands. Everything from my first phone call with K9 resorts to our first tour far exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly, the space was clean and not over crowded with dogs/pets, and the biggest piece for me- I could immediately tell that everyone there were pet-people and were passionate about what they did for a living. So excited that we found this gem of a spot. We'll be back!

I followed traditional medical treatment for years using steroids, creams and shots which only helped on a temporary basis and her condition continued to worsen. I then changed her diet to a raw and grain free food and began a more holistic approach to her care. I saw improvement but not rapidly enough. After reading about the benefits of Chinese herbs and acupuncture, I searched for a veterinarian that used these tools in their practice. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Gurevich to treat my dog, and the results so far are more than favorable. My observatioan of Dr. Gurevich is that she is a very knowledgeable and dedicated young woman who clearly has a great love for her profession and the animals that she treats. She examined my dog and reviewed all her medical records and stated that she would work along with my preferred vet if I wanted her to. After her evaluation, she prescribed two Chinese herbs to help with her skin and inflammation and then performed acupuncture and laser which also treats her skin and paws. After two series of treatments and several weeks on the herbs, my dogs coat is beautiful, and her constant licking of her paws has subsided to where the fur is starting to grow back.
