The associate took the tool set and spread it out behind the counter. I then, was interrogated on how I acquired the tools, where they came from, if I had a receipt, and even more. I should not have to nor should there be any reason for me or anyone to have to go through such questioning to the point I had to call the person who gifted them to me in store causing me to have a emotional breakdown and distress. This behavior is totally unacceptable from anyone in any situation especially a business transaction. I asked $150 starting as the set at retail goes anywhere from $299-$399. Resale value at least $150. I tried to get possession of my tool set back when they offered $45, ha. The associate refused to and put the $45 on the counter. I just walked out.
