The timid little dog has come on leaps and bounds in his confidence and his behaviour with other dogs. Jacqui told us in her professional opinion that he could be walked off the lead and she was right. She sent us loads of video and told us how she managed him off the lead. His recall is brilliant and we've worked on the building blocks she gave us. He even eats better now. However returning from our holiday we found that our bunnies have done extensive damage in a room. I did a walkthrough and left instructions prior and made it clear what areas the pets were allowed and they were not to be left unsupervised. The room they wrecked was a no-go zone and they must have been left alone for quite a while as they chewed all the way through the carpet in more than one location along with other items. Will have to replace them all and all I got was a sorry with no qualms about taking the full amount of money for the pet sitting. Avoid!

Dog walkers should have their clients complete a document listing our clients contact information, their vet's contact information, and other important information about the dog (age, breed, weight, medical conditions, current medications, etc).

Luckily Ingliston Cattery offers a 'Pet Taxi' service! They come to my flat at a specified time and pick up The Cat then deliver her back when I'm home from my 'holidays' (when did going home become my holidays?!) Admittedly the timing/communication on a few of these pick ups and drop offs has been a little off, but overall it's been fairly good. The Cat comes back in good shape, well fed and usually in decent mood. I am generally updated in great detail (sometimes too much detail...I don't keep track of her 'leavings' they do...) My continued custom speaks for itself!

After an unreliable Yelp recommendation, a dog walker that "doesn't take collies", and four other…read moreunresponsive dog walkers, Fiona of Pawsitive Tails saved the day by coming in all the way from Hamilton to walk my in-laws' loveable bearded collie we were dog-sitting. Leading up to the day we needed her to take out the pup, we set up a meet and greet so Fiona knew where to go, address any questions or concerns and also get familiar with the dog. On the day, I got videos and messages from Fiona saying how much fun the pup had in the park with the pooches. Her rates are competitive and totally reasonable. While she doesn't normally service the Strathbungo/Queens Park area, if you are in the Hamilton area Fiona is brilliant. The pup and I are forever grateful to her, when others have proved to be unhelpful or unreliable.
