We took our 8-month-old lab, Charlie, there this past week. We picked the 24/7 puppy boot camp and…read moreit was worth every penny! It is well organized. The trainer's Cliff and Randy were great. Cliff had our dog 24/7, we were heartbroken to leave him for the week as we never had. They encouraged us to come anytime and visit, or train with them. Our previous experience had been to leave our pups for 30 days without being able to see them. Well, to our surprise our dog loved Cliff! If fact our visit was 2 days later and he did not even care when we left. That was not our pup...LOL! In 7 days our dog had really matured, calmed down, and learned all basic commands. They were great at sending us videos of his training. Truthfully, the rest is up to us and we are staying up with the training. We live in Oregon and we will drive back to their Carlsbad facility for further training. That's how much we appreciate and respect their training. FYI, our son and his wife have since put their 13-week old puppy in and are so grateful for the changes in him. Charlie learned in 7 days what previous pups learned in 30...

I purchased a 10 week program and paid up front. I was told the only option for payments was…read morebasically to pay half as a down payment and the rest before the first day. Heather was great with my dog and is a great trainer, however she overcommits to programs that she clearly does not have time in her schedule for, as evidenced by 22 same day last minute cancellations that stretched out our training sessions from 10 weeks to 10 months. I expressed my concerns to her a few times throughout the program as well as beyond the 10 weeks and she was very good at reassuring me with long paragraphs that she was committed to Rocky and promised to do better but then continued to cancel and not provide the services listed on the program contract. Please see attached as I feel 22 last minute cancellations is a claim that needs backing. Ultimately, it took 3 attempts asking for a refund, trying to utilize a boarding credit instead, me citing the program contract that clearly states she does not charge for cancels and then finally, 10 months out from the program with a little over half the promised services rendered, I said my next step was small claims court and she finally decided she would agree refund me. Again, she is a great trainer, i had even recommended her to friends but then had to go back to them to let them know that I actually hadn't even seen her for months because she seemed too busy to fulfill the program I had prepaid for (at that point we were 6 months from the start of the program and we went a full 2 months with no training, just a last minute cancel every time and multiple empty assurances). I'm writing this review as her programs cost thousands of dollars and I don't want someone else seeking help to get their hopes up for good training, as I did, and then not get what was agreed to, paid for and written up in a signed contract. I just wouldn't recommend paying for anything up front and hope that in the future the services promised do come to fruition!

My family and I make the trip to Legoland yearly and we don't have to do too much before hand…read more. book room, buy tickets, rent car etc etc. However this past June we became Furparents to an adorable anxiety ridden codependent dog who can't be alone for long. Granted she is much better then when we first got her but we've already been told she has too much anxiety for daycare with tons of dogs. We have to figure out who's going to watch her now that we basically didn't get approved for the boarding services. I did alot of research and stumbled across Simply sensational and the constant communication even before I agreed to ask for their services made me feel extremely comfortable. I let them know we needed a sitter for one day , a couple of hours while we where at legoland and it was so easy to book with them. We agreeded on a time and a handoff location. The moring of we where so nervous for her and how she would react, would she run away, would she bite, would she howl all day for us? The complete opposite actually, our feelings where hurt because when I say we handed our Emi over and she walked away and didn't even look back, literally did not look back!!! lol. Off to legoland we go I suppose, not to long after we received an update from Debroah on Emi on how sweet she was and what a good dog she was. and throughout the day we received updates and pictures on what silly and sweet girl she is lt made us proud of being her parents, considering where the level of her anxiety was when we first adopted her to feeling secure in herself to be with strangers and feel safe with them. I was so pleased I made the right choice to go small and independent business. When it was time to pick up Emi several hours later we weren't even sure she'd want to come home with us but she was indeed happy to see us and we heard story on her walks in the neighborhood and how well she got along with all the new dogs she met and it was the start of what I hope to be a long standing relationship of our new dog sitters whenever we are in San Diego. I speak highly about them to everyone who asked how our springbreak and who took care of Emi? I urge you to give them a chance, you won't regret it nor will your dog, and my only warning is your dog may NOT want to go home with you at the end of the day Payment: cash or Zelle

By far, the best place to take your dog for urgent care or oncology needs (if you see Dr. Proulx)…read more I've been taking my dog here for just over a year for quarterly consultations with Dr. Proulx. My 11 year old dog has a history of very aggressive MCTs, and Dr. Proulx has helped us put him on a fantastic regimen that has prevented any new tumors from appearing for 15 months, while minimizing dosages for steroids. Dr. Proulx is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He answers all of my questions thoughtfully, even when I call from home because I'm a nervous dog mom. We just took my dog to the urgent care this weekend, and it was a great experience. I called in advance to say I was coming up, and they were able to see him right away. They had great bedside manner, thoroughly explained our options for next steps, proactively provided cost transparency, and offered follow up appointments. They also helped me prioritize what was needed so I could decide what to schedule with my pcp to save some money - it's clear they aren't trying to take advantage of you! We saw Dr. Vezeleva, and I can't recommend her enough. When we were done speaking with the care staff, I asked the front desk if I could take my dog to the car to wait while they filled a prescription for me - they immediately brought him out so he could wait comfortably, and they even met me at my car to get me when everything was ready so that the end process as seamless as possible.

BE WARY OF THIS VET!!!…read more Took my cat here, told the doctor I was worried he was blocked and had a UTI. The doctor dismissed this and insisted he was not peeing due to anxiety/stress. They had me wait in the waiting room for hours on end, and after hours of waiting on my cat(who was in critical condition), I asked for an update and they said it would be a couple more hours. When I got him back, it seemed like he was kept in his crate and not monitored. They charged me for the checkup ($180), tests and medicine, no X-rays... They did not give me the results for the test until I called and asked the next day. They also were supposed to fill a prescription that never happened. That was about $700. Again, told me it was STRESS that affects his ability to pee. We go to another vet and they immediately find crystals in his urine and know he is blocked. He also has a UTI. He could've died. Waste of money and time. Lots of other people have said their pets of died because of the care here. Sad as fuck.

Welcome Woofie's of Carlsbad!…read more This family business provides a variety of pet services. We utilized their mobile grooming for not one, but two dogs. I scheduled the service with the owner over the phone who got me started on their booking platform. My female dog has a wash and go type of coat and she was booked for a sanitary trim. Our male dog has a thick coat and was scheduled for a full service treatment. Both came out looking their best thanks to Alexis. The entire process from beginning to end was smooth. The office followed up on our services after the session. You can just tell the team at Woofie's wants you to have a positive experience. This was our first time using a mobile grooming service. The mobile van was new, clean, and well stocked with supplies and treats. The dogs liked it and I think that is what really matters. Time to book our next session for the holidays... #WoofiesofCarlsbad #MobileGroomers #ADogsLife #YelpEliteNCSD

I came across Woofies and from the first phone call to now (a year later) this place has been WONDERFUL. My first impression was they CARE. Caleb spoke to me on the phone for 30 minutes about all the questions I have and was empathetic regarding my anxiety about finding a new groomer. At the end of the call I booked an appointment and I'm so glad I did! Fast forward to almost a year later now that we've been using Woofies and they've always been incredibly accommodating, communicative and professional. We are so glad to have found kiwis grooming home! At the beginning we used Alexis who was phenomenal and kind but she moved so now we use Michelle and are SO thankful we have her as Kiwis groomer. Michelle pays close attention to detail and loves kiwi, you can tell she loves what she does. I recommend all my friends use Woofies! We don't like standard salons where you drop your pet off and pick up with how tiny kiwi is and she's used to mobile grooming so this was perfect for us! The convenience of them coming to your home and bringing our pet out to the van is PRICELESS.
