The other times that my puppy has seen another groomer it's been a much higher price and not as good of an experience. Less friendly and not as well groomed. Most recently, I had the worst experience yet when Amy went out of town. My dog had matting around his neck after his neuter surgery so the man at the front said it would take a longer time to groom him and it would be more expensive. I dropped him and they agreed to call me to give me an exact price. It was around $60 more than usual so I asked if they could confirm this with Amy. It was agreed that they would groom my puppy while they waited to hear back from Amy. After six hours, I called to check in and they said that they never heard back from Amy so they didn't go ahead with the grooming and instead just let my puppy sit there for 6 hours. This was a total lack of good judgment and service. If they misunderstood, then they should have called me to check in rather than just letting my puppy sit there for 6 hours. I wondered what they would have done if I had not called. Would he have just stayed there overnight? And they did not apologize for the way they very poorly handled the situation. They just said oh sorry you can pick him up now. Terrible business practices! And it does often smell of second hand smoke as other customers have noted. Without Amy there, this business is terrible and has incredibly bad customer service and care.

To make a long story short, my dog was going into heat (on her period), I did not know if they groomed female dogs on their periods. So I texted her to ask whether she can still groom dogs in that condition, she did not respond, so I was not going to bring her. The following morning she texts me, instead of texting her I call her. She didn't allow me to explain, she kept talking over me, and was rude, impolite, and disrespectful. She tells me that she doesn't look at her phone after 7pm....How am I to know that?! It was past the time of the appointment, I asked her if she still wanted me to bring in my dog, she said yes, so I hung up and brought the dog. When I went to pick up my dog, I told her to never to speak to me like that again, as I have been a loyal customer who also tips well. Things got heated, I calmed down and tried to speak to the husband. Instead of letting me explain what happened, she then comes over as I am explaining to him and she starts yelling and interrupting, so unprofessional and just rude. I was trying to tell them that my dog has begun bleeding. Then the wife has the nerve to tell me that MY dog is not, when I know for fact she is.
